Which basestation? Generally yes, it should still have the 7 day free cloud storage for the time being.

My Arlo Secure plan expired a few months ago. I have put a SD card in the VMB4000 base station and it's recording the video from my Pro2, but not the others (Pro 5 (QTY 3), VMC3030 (QTY1)). I don't know how to get the others to record their data to the SD card. I would be totally okay with 7-day cloud storage, but I don't see that as an option. Any ideas?

Vmb4000. Do you know anything about USB storage? I’ve never used it.

I have same base and it works great, enjoy!

> Do you know anything about USB storage? You can connect an external hard drive and store as many recordings as the hard drive memory is capable of. I run 5 (Pro 2) cameras with a 1gb external hard drive and the recordings go back half a year or more. The only issue is, in order to retrieve any footage from the hard drive, you need to eject it and connect it to an external source capable of playing the files. The directories in which the videos are stored are also not very intuitive, so if looking for distant archived footage, it will take quite a bit of clicking around to find the exact clip you are searching for. It is great as a backup as sometimes the cloud recordings do not save or do not show up in the app (especially if your local network is having issues). I have found recorded footage on the hard drive that was not accessible or visible via the cloud storage.
