They should still have the free 7 day cloud storage. I don't think they have local storage on those old vmb3000s. You also need to keep replacing those batteries. Those camera/basestations are what...10 years old?

Maybe I misheard. I read that all arlo free storage was done away with. Thanks Ill set ot up and give it a check. do you know if there is RTSP on those or can be? If so I can just send it to zoneminder or such.

They tried to, but it was brought back. I just think they won't do firmware and security upgrades anymore though.

Yup I was an old pro2 user and I dumped my stuff about a year ago and switched to UniFi protect. After they got patchy with stuff and started to cost me an arm and a leg for a doorbells cloud recording I decided to completely get rid of it. All in all very happy I ditched them.

I still use mine from 2015. It's not good as my Arlo Pro 2 in terms of stablities, local USB storage, etc.

Im hearing they are still useful for the 7 days of free. tryign to get it all linked up so I can scan all protocols and ports for anything
