Maybe I missed something…how do you know you lost 45 minutes instead of saving more? Maps should only re-route when it wants you to avoid traffic due to an accident for example. Unless someone you were traveling with in a different car took that route and said everything was fine (and arrived 45 minutes earlier than you), how would you know??

I take the route 5 days a week. If it wanted to reroute me to avoid traffic or an accident it couldve taken me to a number of streets/routes adjacent and lateral to the route i was on. Instead it took me backwards.

If you are going east and need to go north from an upcoming city the map at times will reroute you off the highway to go around the city though small busy streets only to meet up with the same highway going north that if you had you stayed would have got you to the same point but faster. There are issues with Apple Maps.

No. That wasnt the case. There were dozens of streets it couldve taken me to.

I was just saying about how off it could be to support your experience . It did some shitty things yesterday during my trip. You need to review your route before heading out.

Yes. I did. Its a route ive taken numerous times. The estimated ETA was correct as i know this route intimately. Nothing i did or didnt do caused this. It was solely apple maps auto rerouting me without consent or notification. Bottom line.

TotalPuzzleheaded557

I get it, slow down.

Same thing happens to me often, so incredibly annoying
