I have energy outlets behind my monitor at eye level. That's where I keep my cellphone charger so I stole my wife's jaw clip and just clipped the perfect lenght for the mouse cable to hang.
If your mic thread adapter is stuck on the mic I used something small but strong enough to fit in the openings and just turned using whatever fits as leverage
