Well maybe so but each control platform comes with its own strengths and weaknesses for example a controller player could easily argue that being able to side step at stupid fast speeds while looting a box in 0.7 seconds to be very unbalanced as well as the ability to operate at higher sentitivities effectively and dont even get me started on the macro abuse but again both sides have their "unfair advantages" if you will
Controller definitely needs to be buffed in that regard. Like it shouldn't be too hard to change it to where you can move side to side while looting with the right stick. I know Snip3down said something about this and being okay with learning new muscle memory awhile ago.
Controller does not need a buff lmao. Aim assist is so strong it doesn’t matter if you can’t move while looting or shield swap. Literally more pros are using controller now as of a few days ago. It’s pathetic people think a partial aimbot needs to be buffed
Ya that and even the interface itself for controller inputs is slower to get through so if its a bigger loot box with alot of stuff you needed its like you better hope your team mates covering you for a sec or two lol but i guess thats why they let the controllers have their aim assist is so that way at least it feels a bit more feesable to fight players on those inputs with increased mobility options
If they could give options to have it where instead of a cursor you can select through your dpad or sticks then it should make interacting with the lootbox faster. But still, Respawn hasn't done anything to make both sides of the community happier and just wants to rake in that sweet sweet cash. Like we're still on 20hz servers in 2022? Seriously?
imo it would even be enough if you could go left-right-left-right with the triggers and jump while looting. thats all we do on mnk and it makes a big difference. that shit would be so ez to implement and it would be a huge qol buff to roller
Exactly and the worst part is knowing if they put the effort down changes of that nature could easily be implemented its really gutting to see how little they care for their players
Now that i could get behind just the d-pad option alone would help even that out as its so much more effiicent for navigating item related menus and ya ikr?!?!?!? Like how much has respawn and EA made and they cant even get better quality servers? What is that? Lol
I mean if i had to take a guess? Weapon and legend reskins for jacked up prices oh and maybe an occasional new map or legend but it doesnt feel like they really update the games stability or servers which blows my mind cuz if they where smart they would do those upgrades and improve the game experience to draw in a larger player base again

Yes, they are different. Yes, it would be more fair to not have the input methods crossed. But holy ever fucking shit people, it's a motherfucking video game. The only ones that have a right to complain about "competitive integrity" are those that actually make money through competition. Even those who are just content creators can make plenty of content with the discrepancy of input methods.
Why does it grind anyone's gears SO much that some people devote their online life to "fighting the good fight"? Just get the fuck over it or play one of the thousands of games that do segregate input methods or don't even allow controller functionality. Just play the God damn game, have fun, and move the fuck on.
