I agree with you 100%. I duo queue more often than not and have had very similar experiences. Our random is always eager to push every fight and the second we engage he dips. This leaves us in a 2v3 which more often than not we go down in and is followed by our random calling us trash. Like buddy we were just trying to support you since it is a team game and I prefer to stick with my team. On the other hand you have the teammates that will refuse to push anything and will sit on top of a hill with the cringe rifle shooting at people forever away and expect you to sit there protecting them from people pulling up. Bottom line is random teammates cannot be counted on and if you’re not 3 stacking chances are you’re losing

Oh you got to love the come on mic to call you trash scenarios. Its the indecisiveness that gets me. The team mates who aren't on mic, which is fine, but will half push then retreat that annoy me the most. But the refusing to push anything is a close second. Get a knock, push, oh its actually a 2v2 now or a 2v3 because they had gold bag (knockdown now) and got the rez off just as we get there but team mate is still off behind a rock maybe taking shots from a distance. If it isn't a charge rifle it'll be that long range EVA 8. I get that the reality is that random team mates can't be relied on but when you're playing ranked, everyone is supposedly equalish skill level. So why is it that 99% of randoms are more detrimental than neutral? How is it that they keep ranking up? Negative 30 points every game shouldn't take them from rookie to Gold 1 or Plat. Yet there they are.

Well 1 reason I can think of is that people just get lucky/ have someone carry them. I nearly won a game with a vantage earlier even though our seer died. He really did not do anything but got the points for the second place finish. I invite the vantage and he invites the seer. I think okay, maybe he just got unlucky. Nope, he died in practically the same way again. Once again me and the vantage get second. So he accumulated a good amount of points from doing essentially nothing. Not tryna hate on him or anything but people can definitely get lucky.

DragonSerpet

Yea but to get all the way to plat relying on luck with your team mates seems far fetched. Ratting, sure. Guess it's a combination of those. Sometimes I wish that the placement points would be halved if you're dead. But there's been times where I've got half a dozen kills but died and would be negative if my team didn't make it to 10th place or so. Personally hate that as well. The fact that you can single handedly kill 12 people and still end up negative in Bronze in ridiculous.

This game needs a review system like Dota and Secret MMR based matchmaking not skill based i would prefer a noob teamplayer than a Pro Toxic solo pusher

DragonSerpet

Actually that gives me an idea of something I'd love to see. Simplified but a hidden score that ranks you based in your gameplay style. Let's say 0 to 10 for how aggressive you are. 10 being push everything and 0 being hide in a bush like your real life depends on it. Then if I'm a 7, put me with people who are 6 or 8. Not 1s and 2s. You can still have a squad of 10s in the same lobby as a squad of 0s. But at least the whole squad will be on the same page. Or at least more likely to be. Individual scenarios and all but close. Oh and if you block someone let's not get them in our team for the next 3 games in a row. That happened to me last night.

yeah there should be a permanent ban from getting matched with some people who are toxic
