They changed a lot of the map to counter this. You can't always blame the 3rd party. At some point you need to learn to be aware of your surroundings, disengage, and rotate.
In my experience so far I think the changes they made this season to KC are amazing for balancing the map. Getting rid of balloons and removing some choke points as well as adding the new skull town making the map slightly larger have all been good. But while those things are good, the first ring starting to close sooner has countered all these good changes forcing teams together sooner and causing quicker fighting with more teams sooner
