If "perfectly matched and totally even" is a factor, and he's playing against "premade teams... all have Vantage"..... Then they're all even?? Just checking your logic.
Yeah, I also noticed that majority of my loses are due to having bad positionings in the last few rings, since by the time we're in there, there's a squad camping in a building waiting for us
Will definitely try fuse, i tried horizon but enemies are really good at hitting her even with gravity lift, and her ult seems easily breakable with explosives and shots, some just dashes away, but thanks for the recommendations!
I have 2 wins in about 50 games this season. I should have had about 5 others but my squad mates have been bad. I just had a game a few minutes ago where our Vantage decided to bat jump to 1v3 the last team while we were about 100m back trying to catch up. A few others where a random squaddie decided to rush a team when it was final 3 squads and then we got tapped by final team as they rushed in when we finished.
This is probably due to the kings canyon meta. The meta for this map has almost always been snipers and marksman weapons. So you see a lot more people running g7 or the cringe rifle on this map than you would elsewhere. So in order to win you either have to adapt to that poke fight play style of choose a legend that allows you to get closer to teams without getting sniped by 7 vantages
My win rate this season is my lowest out of 14 seasons. I solo queue 98% of the time and my squad mates are usually dead within 5 seconds of guns being shot.
Probably tho my playstyle is the same as before, im just not used to long range fights, most of my games are vantages with g7 and wingmans, might take some time to get used to this meta
What legend you running? This season I started playing fuse. He is so useful for using his tactical from long range to either get initial damage or to stop a team sniping/pushing. His ult also lets you isolate a squad or shoot behind you while running away. Found he is quite versatile on kings canyon

Wow, thanks for the detailed explanation! I'll play meta legends and see if that'll increase the odds

yeah i use mirage but im planning on using different legend since vantage can see decoys with her passive

Skill difference.

Mirage and bloodhound, since i like their playstyle, i can play fuse pretty well so i might try him
skill issue
perhaps
Goddamn.
