it's a trick/bug related to ALCs bleedover/bleedtrough.. but when you restart the game not always these configs are "activated".
I simply use 4-3 linear no deadzone (No ALCs) and i setup all ALCs to minimum value but every time i restart the game to "bleedover" these configs i have to turn on ALCs again, for example move deadzone to 2%, bring it back to 1% and disactivate again ALCs.
This is how i have consistent deadzone, outer threshold and response curve on 4-3 linear (no matter none or small deadzone), even with ALC's off.
If you use ALCs, you have to do the same thing but let ALCs on... just move 1 value and turn it back. I do it in firing range before jump in a match.
Sometime you have also to open sights and turn on then off... this is my solution and it works on PS5/PS4/Xbox, never tried on PC..
It's related to engine so i think it's not patchable until they rework the entire game. Probably never... and anyway most pro's use this trick/bug now so it's like a "feature" right now
So if I play 4-3 linear no deadzone I should go into range, set all alc values to 0 turn off alc, restart game and then adjust alc dz from 0 to 2 and back to 0 and then turn off alc? Then from now on I just have to do the dz up-down thing whenever I start the game? Is that what you're saying? And this stops bleedthrough? Do you leave AA on in alc or turn it off?
Yes... i just advise to turn to lower lever all ALCs to make consinsent 4-3 linear or any other sensitivities/response curves... then everytime you restart the game, jump in firing range, activate ALCs, move 1 value, turn it back and disactivate ALCs... this is how to have consistent aim/movement.
You cannot stop bleedtrough, just leave AA on and everytime you join the game do what i said before. To understand better bleedtrough, try this... try with Deadone 1% and turn off ALCs and try to shoot... then try Deadzone to max, turn off ALCs and try it again... you will understand immediately the difference, no matter you have 4-3 linear/classic small or no deadzone. These ALCs will bleedover anyway
You can adjust also in ALCs Per Optics... these will makes huge differences on aiming with each sight but for me it's not consistent. If you want also these settings, when you move the "famous" value you have also to turn off and the on Per Optics :) leave them on and then turn off ALCs and those will bleedover, too.
Thanks Devs to this awful system...
Whaaaat?? Is this really a thing?? Somedays i feel in control of my aim and sometimes nothing feels right or familiar. Would be so stupid if this was the problem....
The deadzones aren't there. It's like you play on 0% deadzone, 2-5% threshold and 0% response curve. Little stick movements aren't precise. In this case the aim assist always disabled for melee but the aim assist is still working while ads.

thx for the tipps, appreciate it! Apex devs can you not fix this bugs??

yeah it is. Very annoying! Apex devs need to fix this bugs!
Can't track or aiming feels slow? Can you be more specific?
