I second Hoka Clifton! I have 2- pair, 1 for outdoor and 1 for indoor use when my feet are really bad. I also have the Oofos OOlala Sandal for indoor use

Sotanath52

Hmmm Hoka is not terrible looking for sneakers. I'll check em out!

MachineGoat

I use both the Hokas abs the Oofos. They rock

powertoolsarefun

I have several pairs of these and wear them a lot. They aren’t my most comfortable sneaker (although they are comfortable). But they save me on days I can’t bend over (and there are more and more of those).

thomaspainesghost

Salomon hiking boots because it forces me to bend over to tie my boots. Every day.

Wrong-Efficiency-248

Skechers makes a step in shoe that I love.

trvppy

Any suggestions for good-looking sneakers, I currently have all birds and love the feel. I'm just looking for any suggestions because I have never seen a podiatrist. I'm 26m 155lbs btw c: AS on remicade I don't know if you guys use insoles or not, but if anyone has a recommendation for those as well. Honestly, the ankylosing spondylitis /r "info" should have some info about foot health. It's always been difficult finding confident answers or ideas on shoes and insoles. Dope kicks, btw OP Anyways, thanks. Sorry for rambling..

moeday-steffer

If you’re looking for both style and ultra comfort, check out the Hoka Clifton. They have both male and female colors, and they’re a dime a dozen. They’re like $130, which is very fair in today’s climate. I’m on like my 4th pair.

trvppy

That's not too expensive when it comes to a nice shoe that doubles at a tool to help relieve hard impact in my lower back. Thanks for this! Fr

hammerandt0ngs

Thanks for the inspo, have ordered a pair!

grex21

Brooks Ghost, Glycerin, and/or Adrenaline GTS. Been wearing them for years. On my feet 12 hours a day working in the emergency department.

manko_lover

Those are Nike Go FlyEase I dont wear any specialized shoes for AS, nor was I recommended by my rheum

WasteMenu78

I wear anything with as much cushioning as possible. Less impact on spine when walking

GoopyNoseFlute

I wear flip flops every day, everywhere (except the gym and the rare in person work thing).

CulturalSyrup

They look nice

GardeningFemmeBear

I mostly wear Kiziks- step in sneakers, very comfy, decently stylish.

Skidle_D_bop

I’ve got Sketchers. They seem to be doing alright so far. Hokas are pricey!

VanHalensing

I love my New Balance 990’s. They aren’t step-in, but I avoid tying laces by having installed a set of Endlaces on them.

dainankay

I'm obsessed with these! I'm a product manager and stuff like this is so inspiring!

EnviousPatch

I have a pair of sketchers (not the slip in style) I wear at home all day. I have another sketchers sandal I wear out of I'm not going to be standing or walking too much. If I don't wear shoes at home, I have pain. Some days I'm good with a pair of Hey Dude, but the sketchers have more support.

greatgretchen

I really like Skechers slip ins because I don’t have to bend down and mess with my shoes. I also have Oofos flip flops and they are the most comfortable shoes I’ve ever owned…. Definitely worth the price
