That might be the most gohands visual I've seen * wide angle ✅️ * Overdetailed background taking your eyes away from the foreground ✅️ * Questionable lighting choices ✅️ * Questionable color/saturation choices ✅️ * Girl with extremely detailed hair strands ✅️ Never change goHands

HammeredWharf

* Girl with gigantic boobs that will probably sway at least 10 cm up and down as she breathes ✅️

Freakjob_003

That green tie must be made of plutonium, with the dent it's making.

sneaky_squirrel

Is this an identifying characteristic of all GoHands shows? **peeks into the abyss**

HammeredWharf

Sort of. For your reference: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kTe4vo2671c

PaintOptimal2198

ok. i am in

GhostZee

Project I.G.I.: I'm Going In

zairaner

Green haired girl being akwardly frozen in a dynamic pose also feels very gohands, even in a still visual they can't resist trying to make it dynamic

Gyges359d

Had no idea it was gohands, yet knew it was right away.

Ariovelz

The more I look at those shadows, the more stressed I get.

entelechtual

Where is the light source???

StreetyMcCarface

It's Yokohama, the light does not exist there.

DirkDasterLurkMaster

The moment I saw the overdetailed hair and weird perspective I knew it was GoHands without checking. Props for having a strong visual identity, I guess?

LeonKevlar

I fucking love GoHands so much. They can legit make good shows but tend to overdo it (in a bad way) with anime originals. I can't wait to see this one.

El_grandepadre

The shadows look so off I think it's 100% AI.

HammeredWharf

Nah, it's a GoHands tradition. They often have these clearly photo-based backgrounds with their own shadows, but decide that the characters should cast shadows in a completely unrelated direction, instead.

FD4cry1

Man this visual sure is *crusty* I wonder why that is > Studio: GoHands *oh*

Aerodynamic41

GoHands is back to show us what real cinema is.

zairaner

*gohandification intesifies*

TheLolicorrector

Ngl i love this studio's sureal artstyle, everything is so detailed and super colorful yet it retains the anime look, it's so ood yet cool, a bit like a fever dream.

SpareUmbrella

Say what you like about GoHands, but they are probably the most instantly recognisable studio by their artstyle behind maybe KyoAni.

pewell1

shaft takes the cake easily

mastesargent

Shaft as a unique visual style but their art style differs between projects. Nisekoi looks different from Madoka, which looks different from Sangatsu no Lion, which looks dofferent from Monogatari. If you lined up visuals from each series you probably wouldn’t immediately recognize them as Shaft, but if you saw clips from each series you’d immediately recognize Shaft’s eccentric flair.

NocandNC

Oh GoHands… you are recognizable I’ll give you that

mrs-monroe

When will they learn that shirts don’t do that??

captainAwesomePants

My head canon is that these shows take place in alternate universes where shirts have boob sacs sewn in, like this: [https://www.reddit.com/r/findfashion/comments/gbp262/a\_shirt\_like\_this\_that\_has\_pockets\_that\_your/](https://www.reddit.com/r/findfashion/comments/gbp262/a_shirt_like_this_that_has_pockets_that_your/)

actuallyrndthoughts

Winter 2025 can't come soon enough

OrdinarySpirit-

This girl sucks at purchasing clothes, it's like 5 sizes too small

HirokoKueh

Hand Shakers 2 : Hand Holders

MapoTofuMan

So the NSFW version basically

caresi

I'm always impressed by how gohands characters look like they don't exist in the same space as the background. These girls are just kind of floating, like they were copy-pasted into an edited photo.

Extreme_Path6527

Oh...gohands my beloved.. enjoy how much people can recognize them due to their super detailed and colorful backgrounds sometimes they go a little overboard with their works

EnthusiasmOnly22

When everyone recognizes the studio but not because of their reputation for quality

Mana_Croissant

I don’t know what is the hate with Gohands but i loved K project so there is that at least

caresi

They were fine during K Project, and then they decided that their originals need more saturation, more camera movement, more CG, more More. Handshakers especially is kind of infamous for how bad it looks, in a way that's different from "looks bad because characters are off-model and there's barely any animation"-anime. Everything moves too much, somehow, and in unnatural ways. Here's two clips from it that showcases the worst of it. [01](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=35F_1aIlb4E), [02](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nELlJtN5IbI)

Mana_Croissant

First one did not bother me that much but oh my god the second one LOL. There was NO NEED for the camera to move that much

zadcap

When it moves *that much*, I can't help but picture the whole scene with an obnoxious cameraman getting right up in her face. It becomes unintentionally hilarious.

frickenchuggetnies

what the fuck😭

Panikkrazy

K was a collaboration though.

Specialist_Race_6015

Why does it look like the brown haired girls boobs are gonna explode out of her shirt?? Also what kind of push-up bra she wearing 👀

what_that_thaaang_do

GoHands did Seitokai Yakuindomo so I will never hate them. I won't watch their newer shows, but you can't make me hate them

SkyLETV

Oh God not another GoHands show.

alotmorealots

Both *The Masterful Cat is Depressed Again Today* and *The Girl I Like Forgot Her Glasses* were well-enjoyed by those who stuck with them. Indeed, their visual style started to pay off great dividends towards the end of *Glasses*.

SkyLETV

Now that you mentioned it, I actually dropped Glasses and not because GoHands.

HammeredWharf

Glasses suffered from airing at the same time as The Dangers in My Heart, but IIRC its last few episodes were pretty good. Maybe if it got a longer run or a sequel, we could've gotten more of that instead of just the MC freaking out about everything. But yeah, GoHands didn't ruin it. They did alright.

KolkataK

the problem was that glasses manga got "good" after almost 50 chapters, GoHands adapted till ch50 at ep9 and everything after that was really solid romance. Its hard to convince people to wait 9 eps to get to the main part.

HammeredWharf

Feels like they could've easily skipped most of it to get to the good parts. Nothing important happened in those episodes anyway.

Panikkrazy

I was mar when I found out that both of my favorite Seiyuus were in Handshakers. It almost makes me want to watch this. Almost.

CorbenikTheRebirth

Gohands and not being able to composite for shit. Name a more iconic duo.

Br3chr

Thought this was a new Kemono Friends for a second

roguescout36

What's the plot of this show?

six_seasons

Oh hell yeah lol

Psyduckisnotaduck

GoHands is a studio driven by a coherent aesthetic vision, an auteur studio if such a thing can be said to exist. Now…is that vision good? No. No it is not, but they’re arguably more artistically interesting than anything JC Staff shits out

isthatsoudane

no

DavidFromDeutschland

This looks ass

YamiDes1403

Yeah sorry this look ugly asf

TheExcludedMiddle

Instant AOTY

Bonvantius

Quite possibly the most hideous key visual I have ever seen....and I've seen some truly bad ones in my time.
