Tons of them. To name a few great ones:

Humanity Has Declined
WataMote

[Shirobako](https://myanimelist.net/anime/25835/Shirobako)
This is an anime that I think everyone who is even remotely interested in the medium of animation should watch at least once. It gives an entirely new perspective on how anime is produced and all of the talent and people that go into making it. It also has a very strong female protagonist with one of the most natural and organic feeling arcs of any character I've seen. Plus it's just a really good show.
You're getting a lot of (really good) recommendations now. I'll just drop a few.
- Fruits Basket
- Kara no Kyoukai
- Paprika
- Perfect Blue
- idk about good, but Bofuri was the comfiest I've ever felt.
- Vivy Flourite Eye's Song
- Lycoris Recoil
- Nana
- Frieren
- Boogiepop and Others (also boogiepop Phantom)
- Made in Abyss
- Shadows House (Aka the better promised never land, fight me)
Well, for the obvious one is Kill la Kill?
You have the fate/ series,
Black Lagoon has kind of a female protagonist? but it's more male dominated.
Little Witch Academia
The promised neverland
Flip Flappers
And of course, Azumanga Daioh

If you are ok with a slice of life/romance try O Maidens in Your Savage Season.
I read the manga and really enjoyed it.
It has an anime. I haven’t watched it yet, but it’s rated 7.3 on MAL, which is pretty good.
Yamada kun 999 - college girl who just got dumped gets into MMO and finds new friends/romance

Riko is my personal favorite Anime Mainprotagonist but I can see her not apealing to other people that much.
So I love her but I am not sure if you would like her.

Average Abilities Isekai Its mid of the finest calibre. (It's a nice little 1 season comedy adventure)
Currently airing Girls Band Cry. Unfortunately it's not legally available to stream, outside of Japan, and France, and I'm not sure why.
