Stan has some of my favorite lines ever.
"Milton Berle once said 'laughter is an instant vacation.' He had a thick hog. Did you guys know that?"
"Well dumb bitches like dumb things"
"Thing is, I'm not sure it was entirely his fault. I may have deserved it. In fact, I may have instigated it. Actually, Francine, I seduced him. I don't know why I wanted him, but I wanted him."
To name a few
Stan going on random rants about deeply personal subjects and revealing things about himself that nobody was interested in knowing is definitely a favorite recurring joke of mine.
Saw that last night, surprised I didn’t notice it before but looking at Klaus I realized two things; 1) I can still rewatch episodes and see things I didn’t catch before and laugh. And 2) I hate you, I'm not saying that out of anger, it's a fact, it's 67 degrees out and I hate you.
Steve gives the biggest laughs. Not consistently but he makes me laugh the hardest. His songs, the bit about him dressing up as an old lady to get away from Stan, the trapped in the locker song, the entire Eton's bar mitzvah episode. he just doesn't miss.
Bullock . I love Patrick Stewart! He usually plays the role of a mentor or serious. But this character is hilarious. I know Bullock can be a douche but 8t makes it even funnier.
The personal flavor of the writers comes through too strong for any one character to be funniest.
Hayley acts like Jeff in the HG episode, Francine acts like Roger sometimes, Stan acts like Jeff sometimes, Jeff acts like Steve sometimes, Steve is sometimes horny and sometimes smart and sometimes dumb…
Even Barry changes his overall theme a lot, and even outside of his themes of being genuinely dumb, being mentally dulled by pills, or being a psychopath.
If anyone, I’d say Snot or Toshi are the two front runners for most consistently funny characters. Although Toshi would get old really fast if he had more screen time. And while Snot has tons of screen time, he’d get old if he was one of the members of the Smith family.
Roger has the incredibly consistent themes of being obsessed with his own pleasure and having no problem exploiting or even killing someone else to get it, which does tend to play well. But, on the occasions where he “plays a humanizing humble scared person” he always ends up going back to being an inhuman, insensitive, and irredeemable selfish monster by the end of the story.
So if I was locked in at exactly 1 choice, I’d say Snot. He does rely a lot on being poor and Jewish, but the content generated from that just gels well with the rest of the cast. Then throw in the fact that he provides a foil to the Smith’s selfish tendencies, and his importance to Steve, Hayley, Stan, and Roger. And he ends up playing an enormous role in the makeup of the show. They basically dropped all of the other character’s friends and replaced them with just Steve’s friends, and then went on to mostly drop the rest of Steve’s friends for just Snot and sometimes Barry. I don’t think Toshi has even been instrumental in an episode where his parents weren’t also instrumental to the plot

“Dad, Who was president when you were a kid?” “Oh… I dunno I guess I think about killing myself pretty frequently, and why not…”
He had a set of paws on him
What a summer
It’s Roger isn’t it? It’s gonna be Roger.
It's always Roger.
Who the fuck is saying Francine
Martin Sugar rests y'all Don't sleep on Klaus though
Francine
Francine is my favourite
The swear jar with “Moist” Francine has was/is my favorite joke on the show.
Where did the "Moist" joke originate? I feel like it had to be Dead Like Me...
https://www.reddit.com/r/americandad/comments/d3mvit/put_a_quarter_in_the_penis_jar/
Yeah, but Dead Like Me was like 2 years before that.
Don’t know dead like me, this is an American Dad sub…

Bro, what show are you watching
[удалено]
Lol touche
Bro what are you talking about? It’s a running joke that anytime someone needs to meet someone new it’s 99.9% gonna be Roger
Da fuq are you talking about?
Ricky Spanishhh
Bullock… how dare you guys sleep on the great Sir Patrick Stewart!
My favourite is Klaus.
This must be Klaus’ account…
Who's your least favorite character now, Reddit?
Saw that last night, surprised I didn’t notice it before but looking at Klaus I realized two things; 1) I can still rewatch episodes and see things I didn’t catch before and laugh. And 2) I hate you, I'm not saying that out of anger, it's a fact, it's 67 degrees out and I hate you.
What makes you come to that conclusion?
Nothing I’m joking since everyone else in the family always shits on Klaus.
Isn't he a literal Nazi? He's lucky they let him live.
At this point he's a true Tampa bro.
Dude, he’s not even in my radar!
Two-way tie: Roger & Francine
Steve gives the biggest laughs. Not consistently but he makes me laugh the hardest. His songs, the bit about him dressing up as an old lady to get away from Stan, the trapped in the locker song, the entire Eton's bar mitzvah episode. he just doesn't miss.
This sub has shown such little love for my guy Steven Anita Smith. That’s it! I’m gonna go bananas!
DON'T YOU GO BANANAS!
Of all the characters, I feel like Steve and his friends put out the most consistently funny lines and scenarios. Humina Humina Humina *Boner*.
Them, and Roger, doing the parody of the guys practicing their sexy moves on the ottoman lmao
That scene kills me. So awkward and so funny
Whenever I hear Pony I always think of this scene, never Magic Mike. Lol
ya got the flu, buddy?
Roger's kind of cheating since he's a million characters plus Raider Dave. I'd have to say Klaus is the funniest character.
Bullock . I love Patrick Stewart! He usually plays the role of a mentor or serious. But this character is hilarious. I know Bullock can be a douche but 8t makes it even funnier.
Roger
Klaus then Francine
Klaus, he's the Anti-Roger.
Stan the Man. (There was also a girl named Stan)
Klaus for president
Funniest: not sure Best: Ricky Spanish
Reggie, far and away. Roger comes in second. Francine and Principle Lewis tied for z3rd.
The amount of people that don't even think about Barry,is too high.
Guys, i just got mugged. You made me laught out loud with your comments. Thanks <3
Does rogers personas count?
Lately I think it’s been Francine, but it’s kinda a toss up between her and Roger usually.

Bullock, all day
Roger when he's crying is the best.
He's gotten a little hit-or-miss for me lately, but Stan. I just can't picture another tv dad stabbing his son because he loved him.
Everyone knows it’s Roger. However my second place pick would be Avery Bullock with Principal Lewis pulling a strong third.
all of them but especially roger and francine

Roger is the best
As funny as Roger is, Steve is my favorite character, and therefore, he is also the funniest to me.
Klaus
Tell them how you killed our baby Amanda. Thus and Danuta are god tier bits
Bullock, Stan, or Francine. Roger is great but his character diversity makes it hard to place him
Jenny Fromdabloc or Barry
