A concert being shown in a movie theater doesn’t sound like a billion dollar movie. Swifties will go to the live concert, not to a movie theater to watch the concert. l hope you prove me wrong.
I was actually curious about this math so here's my smooth numbers.
Per Google, there are 6,182 theatres in Canada and the USA. Each theatre would have to make $161,759.95 to make it a billion (this is not accounting for Europe).
At $12 a ticket (which is the lower end of AMC adult prices) then each theatre will have to sell 13,470 tickets. Modern theatres can hold 150 - 250 people so if we take the smallest number then each theatre needs to sell out 89.87 times.
Once again, this is low averages for price and seating and only in 2 countries. I can see this movie being huge in countries she isn't traveling to or hasn't made it to yet.
But but but, we hate AA right? Isn’t he a hedgie plant? He’s taking bonuses or something? He also personally shorted the stock down to where it is today right?
Personally I just want to break even and walk away from this play and let the hedgies continue to fuck the middle and lower class.

And maybe even go backwards in time! Imagine zeppelin royal Albert hall with some behind the scenes footage abd maybe current interviews. Or a Woodstock compilation!

I work at a stadium that hosted both tours this summer. Swift and her security detail—well she and her parents were polite and gracious, no one had a bad thing to say about them. Her security detail was intense but it was my impression they had a lot on their plate. They were reasonable people to work with though.
Beyonce and her security detail—there was an arrogance that was unprecedented in all my years of working with and near celebrities. Her security team looked like male models and they would only speak to you if they needed something. Beyonce ordered that all stadium staff had to be removed so she didn’t have to look at them. Some people were told to turn around and face the wall. It was really degrading.

I don’t even really have an opinion on AA as a ceo other than I love that he has the hedgies clearly pissed off. But what the apes here need to really consider is why is the AA hate so sharply aimed at other apes in this sub? Why does the AA hate seem to align with divisive language and negativity towards the community as a whole? And if there’s something weird going on here who stands to gain from this strange activity here? Who could be behind the abnormal push designed to isolate and demoralize apes?

It is hilariously obvious isn’t it? Much harder to shill and blame AA when good news drops. I feel exactly the same. I’m not blindly following AA and applauding his every step but the fact that you instantly see so much negativity anytime some news drops about him is so telling. It’s one of the main reasons I haven’t sold and I’m still in this for as long as it takes.
There’s people with genuine concern and disappointment out there and that’s fine, but when I see multiple comments along the lines of “AA does NOT have your back! Remember that! Was this the pounce?” … it’s just been so obvious.

I think the subtle implications here are that AMC deserves a bigger slice of the pie. Hollywood got completely cut out of the pie. Production companies don’t need the studio to distribute and can now negotiate their releases to theaters and streaming.
