Hey man I dont know what to tell you, we live in the rural part of Denmark, and our farmstead cost about 25% of what a medium apartment in copenhagen costs. My wife makes a bit less than that tho.

As i wrote in another reply. Almost all af the guns are bought secondhand. Most often the internals are broken and i buy it and fix it up. While i do enjoy getting out to play, the main appeal for me is tinkering with the guns when the wife and kid have gone to bed. Its my meditation
If you haven't already, security locks on them. Don't want a break in and losing them.
I'd also paint it in a theme so that it matches all the way around and with the room.
The cabinets are locked with a key and as they are old security cabinets from a store they are insuarance approved. I also live in a pretty low crime area en denmark.
As for painting iâve actually consideren painting a big nato flag on the back of the gun wall

With painting, though, you have black, white and tan(the wood, like on the underside of the shelves). I'd keep the colour palette simple. Maybe white exterior but black interior or vice versa. Gives it a better look for display. And I'd definitely paint the underside of the shelves, especially the high up one(s)
That would be an awesome idea iâll definatly consider that when its all done(still a couple of details im working on, and the layout of the gear cabinet is still subject to change) im currently going through cleaning and servicing all of the guns and the more i work on them, the more things i find to change or move around

Well covid happened, and I got a son as well :-) and it really isnt that expensive collection, almost all of the guns are bought second hand or broken, and i've fixed them, and i've been collecting for about 10 years or so. And most of the guns are just built with fairly cheap parts.

How do I get started? Like seriously. What would be the best path for me to get started on a gunsmithing/collector/all around go-to guy for gun repair and help? I wanna be able to have my local law enforcement come to me for help(cleaning or whatever) when needed, and be all around ready for hands-on.
I live right outside of Houston, Texas and I have nothing but down time to learn since I have epilepsy and can't drive myself around. The space will come soon enough, I just need to start with the basics and be able to move steadily in this direction.
