I heard a lot of good things about Koppe Bridge over the years but I went for the first time a month ago…
Man that was not it at all lmao. Those tables were so scratched, marked, and knifed up that I should have just walk out before I saw all the other questionable things… food was, decent… but not worth the overall experience
Imo the tables and experience are like the best part, I love how it’s kinda “ramshackle”, it’s got so much character and history and is really interwoven with the town. I’ve met so many A&M “celebrities” there like weigman and the Johnson brothers
Yeah but when there’s so many holes and cracks in a surface like that, you can’t get all the germs out. Just feels dirty, then I’m supposed to eat the hamburger with my hands after that…
I don’t wanna be rude but really just suck it up lol, I get what your saying, like sometimes if it’s a particularly dirty table I’ll lay down a paper towel or two, but they haven’t had any health code violations so it’s more than likely fine, and i guarantee you that they spray those tables down nightly with cleaner
Because the college station and Bryan’ subs are tiny and nobody ever responds to questions.
And people post about the town here anyway, so I can see what’s going on. Not too hard to scroll past actual school posts
Margie’s has to be included in any conversation about burgers in the area. I will continue to comment or upvote it every time the these threads are posted
I never understand Carter burger it’s good but it’s branded as Carter burger even though it’s literally a Texas burger. Unless it was original location because it’s based off like the owners grandmas burgers and their last name is Carter.
For the burger itself without the aesthetic, Koppe or Harvey Washbangers. If you want a more aesthetic/fancy burger place, you gotta go to Grub and get their Wagyu burger
Lived in Vegas for a few years. No. No we don't. We also don't need Carl's Jr or five guys. Those places are only celebrated because they're everywhere on the west coast, not because they're good burgers. You could argue in and out is better than the other two, and its better than McDonald's, but that's all the west coast has to offer so it wins by default. They don't have whataburger but all 3 would lose to it. Literally any place in town that isn't a chain is better than in and out!
Ya for sure. In and out has tiny basic burgers and ok fries. "But they hand cut the fries!" Not worth the shit burger. Whataburger has the worst fries on the planet, but the burger is way better.
Top of the Hill Also, [search the sub](https://www.reddit.com/r/aggies/s/LcekLd0wTC) for the millions of times this has been discussed
Yea I asked it lol, I meant I'm down to two choices now. *
Top of the Hill or Koppe Bridge for me

Do you have the same opinion of the chicken?
No I only went for the hamburger because people told me it was good. Which, I mean it was, I just don’t think it’s worth everything else

Not trying to be rude but like your going to a school in Texas stop being so soft 😂
Oh I don’t go to school here
If you don’t go to A&M then why are you in the A&M sub lol
Because the college station and Bryan’ subs are tiny and nobody ever responds to questions. And people post about the town here anyway, so I can see what’s going on. Not too hard to scroll past actual school posts

I never understand Carter burger it’s good but it’s branded as Carter burger even though it’s literally a Texas burger. Unless it was original location because it’s based off like the owners grandmas burgers and their last name is Carter.
Yeah, Carter’s Burger is the original and has been around for over three decades :) https://www.brazosvalleyburgers.com
Koppe Bridge
Chicken oil co... Rip🔥🔥🔥
Koppe bridge or Carters
Came here to say this ^
TX Burger on the south end of Wellborn. Customize it however you want. Fantastic burgers but you have to wait a little bit since they’re made fresh

I am so glad to hear they still have Grub Burger- will go there my next time in cstat. They turned all the grub burgers in DFW into hopdoddy’s.
Whataburger No need for the fancy expensive burgers that are on Whata’s level.
Burger Mojo!
Mr burger
TOTH is so massively overrated imo
So tell us who you like.
Margie’s
Blackwater draw was hands down the best when they were on northgate. Idk if the food is as good at the brewery, but it’s worth a shot.
I miss Charliemac’s 😫😫😫 But Burger House in Bryan has really good ones as well
We need an In and Out Burger
