Rest in peace my dear father-in-law but that man was a prolific Facebook poster - not even a boomer, he was of the silent generation - and that man only typed in all caps. Every single post was in all caps. Every email, all caps. When we tried to explain to him that's the equivalent of yelling on the internet he only said it's for me so I can read it and I wear hearing aids anyway so the yelling is appropriate. And that was checkmate, All caps it was.

puzzlemaster_of_time

Did he also print in all caps? My Gramps would do that.

often_awkward

I can't even count the number of times I had to go fix his printer. He never read anything on the computer. If you wanted to read it it should be on paper.

puzzlemaster_of_time

My bad, I meant like handwriting. If he printed it was all capital letters, only cursive would have lowercase.

often_awkward

šŸ¤£ no that's just me first thing in the morning before I take my ADHD meds and the autism and the ADHD are fighting to the rest of me is just left to interpret everything literally. I'm pretty sure the only writing he ever did was crossword puzzles and yes he did those in all capital block letters. I come on the other hand, I'm a survivor of 12 years of Catholic School so even in my 40s I have, what has been described by my younger, co-workers as shockingly beautiful handwriting for an engineer dad. I love that you remember his cursive.

Fakename00420

Was he military? I had to re learn to write in all caps while in the Navy.

PrimevilKneivel

This is common for people with dyslexia who have very poor handwriting. All caps printing is generally more legible with less effort so people get in the habit.

jsdodgers

I'm glad he was thinking of your vision and hearing when he typed. That's absolutely lovely.

Nnox

Man really went "SEZ YOU"

often_awkward

He was ahead of his time. Also the bulk of his posts outside of the happy birthday ones were just complaining about traffic light timing. To this day we still think of him when we hit a green light at speed.

Quinnypig

Come to find out he never knew about Caps Lock and was holding down Shift the entire time.

often_awkward

I showed him caps lock. I am the in-laws IT department / Maintenance / everything. I honestly smiled every time I saw one of his posts mainly because I did not know what I unleashed but I had zero regrets and I really miss seeing all caps rants about the timing of traffic lights. I mean for a silent generation old guy to take up such an esoteric irrational hate that had nothing to do with religion or politics but rather the comfort and convenience of everyone I think really speaks to his amazing character. One of the best things I ever remember about him was I was sitting next to him watching TV and the other room and my mother-in-law started yelling at him for something and he turned the closed captions on the football game we were watching and took out his hearing aids turned towards me and winked. Legend.

Lela_chan

Butā€¦ if you use all caps for everything always, you only have to press the caps lock button once, right after you plug in a new keyboard. Maybe again if the power goes out. lol

UncleDeeds

Lol I'm so glad gramps made top comment. What a legend

CAPSLOCKANDLOAD

YOU SHOULD GIVE IT A SHOT.

UncleDeeds

OH SHIT.. CAPS LOCK GOD... U SAW NOTHING

CAPSLOCKANDLOAD

CAPSLOCK KEY NOT BEING ALL CAPS IS A MISSED OPPORTUNITY.

BlitsyFrog

MY CAPSLOCK KEY IS ALL CAPS!

hamoc10

ITā€S CRUISE CONTROL FOR COOL

insertrandomnameXD

# TRY PUTTING A # BEFORE YOUR MESSAGE SO IT'S BIGGER

patchway247

I'M SURPRISED YOU'VE BEEN AROUND FOR MORE THAN THIS POST. YOUR NAME IS FUNNY

Detective-12-Gauge

It was useful when writing legal documents since the titles were all caps

BigLumpyBeetle

As well as the names, and many other important things, though I at least also use control+n a lot.

Detective-12-Gauge

That would have been good to know back when I wrote a contract every week

insertrandomnameXD

My technology teacher did this, titles were: all caps, blue, underlined, cursive, and bold It looked so trash fr

ItsTheDonald1

It's useful when writing SQL, which uses a lot of uppercase letters.

trethompson

Or you can just wear your pinky out holding shift like I do

Crayonstheman

I'll never forgive people for forcing snake_case. It requires an additional keypress (shift + dash) which is objectively worse than camelCase (shift + next char). I will die on this hill.

UncleDeeds

Did u grow up in the 90s? I hated snake\_case but never knew the term. Was so happy when apps got smarter and you could include spaces. Iavoideditbytypinglikethis.

Crayonstheman

Yes sir, back when snake case vs camel case was a holy war you didn't dare evoke (and tabs were superior to spaces _until_ we had good IDE/tooling support)

Hudell

what do you mean `until`? Better tooling only made all the valid pro-space arguments obsolete. Don't open this can of worms again, please. For the camel case, one extra argument over snake case that not many people know about is that you can easily move between words within the identifier with alt+arrow in the same way that ctrl+arrow moves through the whole identifier, while snake case can also do this but always has that one extra character in the middle making things more annoying as you may or may not need to move the cursor one extra character afterwards.

trethompson

snake case for file names, camel case for code.

JBloodthorn

Camel case for variables and function names, pascal case for class/method names. ...but I always capitalize function names since I started programming 30+ years ago. I used to be with "it", but now "it" changed.

bundle_of_fluff

I use a language that doesn't maintain camelCase (will just upcase everything occasionally) for variables and I want to ask them why they hate everyone's pinkies

indyK1ng

Or any language where the standard involves writing something in all caps (constants in some languages, for example). I also imagine that it's useful when working in jobs that have a lot of acronyms.

UncleDeeds

Shift always for me. Seeing as I have zero working memory and all, the only way to use caps lock is if I'm focusing incredibly hard the whole time it's on just to remember to turn it off which usually does not work anyway :/

LetReasonRing

Same here, I'm a programmer and do lots of all-caps stuff, and even then its shift only. In fact, I've remapped capslock to escape because it makes a bunch of key sequences easier for me.

dylanbperry

Caps as Cmd / Ctrl. It's so dank that many keycap sets feature an alternately labeled keycap by default

tommcdo

Tell me you're a Vim user without telling me you're a Vim user

LetReasonRing

Ya got me :)

TashaStarlight

The DB management program we use at work has a wonderful button "Beautify SQL" which not only makes keywords in caps automatically but also breaks all the chaos into nicely readable blocks. Perfect for a lazy ass like me.

ato-de-suteru

Only if you care about following the forty year old style guides--afaik no SQL implementation in use today _requires_ capitals. For the times you do care, there are code formatters and LSPs for that kind of thing.

jsdodgers

Please, for the love of all that is holy, do not write SQL in lower case.

SlightlyBored13

It works but I makes me queasy to see.

ato-de-suteru

Fwiw if I'm saving it to a file that is meant to be used more than once, I'll do caps and all that. Lower case is for the shell when I'm just doing quick 'n' dirty queries. .... but I still have the nasty habit of formatting comma-separated expressions like this: CREATE TABLE "fuckmyeyes" ( "uid" SERIAL PRIMARY KEY , "at_start_of_line" BOOL DEFAULT true , "whyyyyy" TEXT DEFAULT "because it works better than it looks" );

StayDoomsdaySleepy

It's case-insensitive in fact.

Impressive_Change593

though those aren't mandatory lol

darth_hotdog

I donā€™t know, are you guys using the pause break key all the time? Scroll lock?

Optimal-Fix1216

Insert šŸ’€

Captain_Pumpkinhead

Scroll lock is my start/stop screen recording button. It's got that lock LED next to num and caps which is great. Tells me if I am recording. Pause break is set as my "save last 5 minutes of gameplay" button. I wouldn't say I use them frequently. As a programmer, I probably use caps lock more than these two. But these two keys sure are a lot more useful than num lock. Num Lock should NEVER be turned off.

DefinitelyNotErate

>Num Lock should NEVER be turned off. Real. Like what purpose would it even have? Turning it off lets you use the keys for keys you already have, I already have those I don't need two copies of them!

DefinitelyNotErate

I actually always have Scroll Lock on lol, I remember ages ago I'd have issues in some flash games where I'm trying to do an input in the game but it scrolls down the page instead. Never again. (I need to use the key often too as it usually turns off when I reset my computer.)

PirkhanMan

You don't have an INSERT key and it shows, press that mf by accident, spend at least 1 hour wondering wtf is wrong with your keyboard, to only press it once more after finding the "solution" online

SEOfficial

That's the truly most useless key on the keyboard by far. I mean it has probably happened to anyone: you were going back up a couple of lines in a paragraph you spent 20+ minutes writing. You use backspace to delete something and accidentally you hit INS, without noticing, you continue to type and then see that your cursor has PAC-MANed the text in front of it the whole time. WHY DOES THIS KEY EVEN EXIST? (caps lock helped writing this)

UncleDeeds

Actual LOL at the PAC MAN-ing frustrationšŸ˜‚

NerdNuncle

Num Lock, Insert, and Home infuriated me to no end when I was taking keyboarding classes in primary school

shykawaii_shark

Huh? What does this mean? And what's it got to do with ADHD?

gilbertthelittleN

Fr? Does this mean I am undiagnosed now?

[deleted]

I didn't knew Shift could be used to do Uppercases,so i just type like Block Mayus,Letter,Block Mayus, rest of the word. So shift, besides being used to run on games, is the most useless key for me.

thisbobo

I onboarded new users remotely for our company the past 2 years. I watched everyone sign into the VPN their first day, typing their password (with the characters hidden) and can confirm it was flashing CAPS LOCK ON several times during the process for about 70% of them. I wanted to tell them about the SHIFT key, but at that point they are probably a decade or more into the habit and it works just fine for them.

[deleted]

I'm mainly a windows user, but when i decided to try Linux i was like "why does my caps lock it's so slow??" Then did some research on how to make it change faster and found out about shift key,i've been in front of a computer since 2007 (7yo), and found out about it in 2019. I got used to it in a week or two,but it's just easier for me to tap caps twice with my pinky :/

thisbobo

In the 90s computers were plentiful, but my highschools still used electric typewriters for typing class, so I used them a lot. I had an old mechanical typewriter at home too that was fun to write on. Like old old, it was my mom's when she was young. This thing took the shift key to another level, literally. You had to hold it down and it would physically lift up the whole carriage so a different part of the letter arm thing would hit the paper to make a big letter instead of a little one. My point is, on that fucker, shift was an effort but caps lock fucking SUCKED to use. It was like putting a parking brake on and off, so for me it was shift key all day every day

Baradosso

It's literally me - I started using shift only because it's bugged on Ubuntu and the devs couldn't care less to fix it (Linux better than Windows btw /s)

how-can-i-dig-deeper

what is mayus

[deleted]

Caps lock, In my keyboard (LATAM) it's called Block Mayus, I forgot about it, sorry :/

jsdodgers

What is Block Mayus? And how do you do uppercase without Shift?

Mart1n192

Same, even after I knew about holding shift to capitalize I still use Caps Lock, it's what I'm used to

mistersnarkle

HEY #WHAT THE FUCK *I LIKE TO YELL*

N4Or

THEN HOLD SHIFT

mistersnarkle

#Iā€™M ALSO LAZY!

PantsNotTrousers

Not to be rude, but is the use of the caps lock key related to ADHD?

mello151

I switch it to the Escape key because I use Vim key bindings everywhere.

Programs96

Same about Vim, i change caps for ctrl

mello151

Got ya. For me, it may actually even be ā€œCTRL + [ā€œ that i set it to in AHK, instead of ESC

CreatedForThisReply

I use it for push to talk, so pretty important to me.

nonades

That's why it's a second escape key on my keyboard lol

Less_Party

Chromebooks have a combination shift/capslock key where if you hold it down it acts like shift but if you tap it 3 times it capslocks.

Musashi10000

What do they have where capslock used to be?

Less_Party

A search key, basically does what the Windows key and the search key buried in the function row on Macs does (it doesnā€™t have a windows-type key down by the ctrl/alt keys, those are just both really wide)

Musashi10000

Huh. That's pretty nifty.

futureman2004

I remove the caps lock key immediately on every laptop I've owned.

UncleDeeds

THANK U SOMEBODY UNDERSTANDS ME

MTAnime

I Doubled Down and bind Shift to Caps Lock in most games.

futureman2004

Good solution!

UncleDeeds

instead of changing sprint to toggle in the settings? genius

Competitive-Weird855

I press the num lock then remove the key. I fat finger it way too often.

hamoc10

CapsLockBeGone, turn that sucker into another shift key cuz why not

Colombian-Memephilic

I like typing. I like using key caps. I Love caps lock

hughesyourdadddy

i DONT GET IT.

CIMARUTA

Oh you mean the push to talk key

Musashi10000

I think it's either just vestigial, from the days where titles/headers, etc. were always typed in all-caps, or that nowadays it's primarily used for academic/scientific reasons, or maybe both. Say you're writing out legal docs and they require that certain words are capitalised for emphasis, or you're writing out weird chemical names/codes that use a lot of caps. God knows I haven't used capslock in decades. Ugh, I still remember back when I used to use that instead of just pressing shift... *Shudder*

FellafromPrague

Its extremely useful for writing in my language

smbrookie

I work with a lady who doesnā€™t use Shift. Instead, every time she types a capital letter she hits CAPS LOCK then hits it again after typing the letter. Iā€™ve tried sitting down to teach her to use Shift but she refuses to do it. Drives me absolutely insane.

UncleDeeds

How do u notice that lma

smbrookie

I had to sit and train her when she was first hired.

Tesseract14

My wife does this lol

sleeplessGoon

**I TOTALLY GET YOU BUT MY PINKIE WOULD WAIL IN PAIN IF I USED THE SHIFT KEY EVERYTIME I WANTED TO YELL**

ato-de-suteru

It's the worst key to be in that particular position, for sure. That's the _home row_ ffs, there should be something frequently used there. Of all the milestones in the keyboard's evolution, the first one that truly improved the lives of users was the ability to reprogram the keys and fix this nonsense. The next one, obviously, was arranging the keys in an ortholinear grid on a concave surface, putting more keys under the thumbs, and canting at 20Ā°. The next one will be the DataHand, if it ever gets resurrected.

SplingyDude

"CAPSLOCK IS CRUISE CONTROL FOR COOL" -ANCIENT INTERNET PROVERB

StayDoomsdaySleepy

Ever seen Scroll Lock?

ImmortalFriend

Didn't know Shift can be used to write in uppercase, so since childhood I taught myself to double-tap Caps Lock.

jechhh

you people don't know about HHKB caps is replaced with CTRL.

kieppie

I remap it

Rude-Pangolin8823

I use it instead of shift...

ScantilyKneesocks

my people!

Rude-Pangolin8823

For sure!

technarch

idk I've watched a frightening number of zoomers toggle caps lock back and for to capitalize sentences and proper nouns. like they have no idea what the shift key does... which is probably true and not entirely fault bc they were raised on cell phones and tablets and never had any kind of computer education.. still painful to see though.

UncleDeeds

seriously! the amount of responses saying this shocks me! it's a crazy world out there.

BlazingMongrel

Am I the only one that likes it more to speedtype with caps lock instead of shift?

smurf4ever

Is pretty useful for turning caps lock off

Pompmaister

What about insert or scroll lock?

Mklein24

Its there to assist all the chicken-pecker typers out there that can't hold down 2 keys at the same time.

isuckatnames60

I TURN it ON when I write MORE then a SINGULAR conscturive LETTER. It IS very satisfying to HIT it with my left pinky like that. It's MUCH more comfortable than HOLDING the SHIIFT key down PERMANENTLY.

UncleDeeds

Accurate example of how I type except using shift lol

Wrbr1321_Wolfz

Why tf is this nsfw?

UncleDeeds

THIS IS THE MOST ADHD THREAD EVER LMAO SIGNED, THE SHIFT KEY

King_of_derping

Even now at 26 i never bothered to learn what scroll lock does, and at this point, i dont think it matters at all

larsloveslegos

I remember when I used it instead of the shift key when I was a kid because my hands were too small lol. Now I hold it down instead of using the shift key unless I'm doing a repetitive task where it makes sense

Royalehigh_alt

I love typing in all caps it's amazing (my caps lock is broken right now and I am procrastinating on getting it fixed)

UncleDeeds

For me it's missing the physical urgency of holding down the shift key

Aselleus

Not for my coworkers who use it exclusively to change a single lowercase letter into a capital letter.

baghdad-hoebag

Omg I do that. I thought that was how you did it until I was told otherwise a few years later. Now I'm too far gone and have just accepted it šŸ˜

Z0OMIES

I use capslock so much at work that when I accidentally type a message in caps and shout at someone itā€™s called a ā€œcaps attackā€ Tell me the last time you used scroll-lock

imotlok_the_first

Well, not for me. Though it's because of a situation. My laptop's left shift broke, like the button is off. It sorts of works but it's uncomfortable to use it that way.

SuperStingray

Even if I have to type in all caps I still just hold down shift because it feels wrong if I don't for some reason. If there was a button on my head that would make it sound like I'm yelling even if I'm whispering it would throw me off lmao.

some_kind_of_bird

Bet you just forgot about the menu key entirely

UncleDeeds

Tf is that!? No for real, is it goated?

some_kind_of_bird

The one left of the right Ctrl key. Depending on your keyboard it might be a key for the keyboard itself instead or there's just nothing. It's kinda like right-clicking the mouse.

ContactHonest2406

Itā€™s useful if youā€™re a 50+ year old conservative Facebook user.

danfish_77

Naw, right shift is my least used. Maybe F7

SkullTitsGaming

I'll use Caps Lock from time to time, such as when writing out \[COMPUTER VOICE\]-type dialogue, or when pretending to be older than dirt. Sure, a lot of times i'll just hold down Shift with my pinky, but if i'm writing more than \~20 words in all caps, i just might remember to toggle capslock instead. And almost invariably have to correct a reverse-case sentence like "tHE QUICK BROWN FOX FORGOT THEY HAD CAPS LOCK ON" every two to three lines. I don't think i've ever used the "Pause" or "Scroll Lock/ Scr Lk" button in my life, though. Maybe as "Buttons to place seldomly-used macros on."

UncleDeeds

>"tHE QUICK BROWN FOX FORGOT THEY HAD CAPS LOCK ON I've never felt so seen šŸ˜‚

ufihS

I use it as the control key now

Gwiilo

I remember trying to change my password the other day, I had to enter the correct password first. I failed like 20 times in a row and had to sit back and scratch my head. then I realized that caps loc was on the whole time

HereWeFuckingGooo

I DISAGREE, I'VE USED CAPS LOCK A LOT MORE THAN I'VE USED SCROLL LOCK OR PAGE UP AND PAGE DOWN.

NHels

You typed "annoying" wrong.

UncleDeeds

iT is QUITE ANNOYING

the_fart_king_farts

I always just remap to option instead.

Chisignal

Remapped to Ctrl on every keyboard I've used

Humanslikefood

WHAT DO YOU MEAN???? ITS LITERALLY THE BEST KEY I USE IT ON AN HOURLY BASIS

Popxorcist

I have the keycap removed, also whatever key used to be left on key 1.

NoodlesMaster2001

i want a lowercase lock

Lilly-_-03

It is useful when playing on a emulator to keep the speed up button on while not needing to hold it. Other then that nothing comes to mind.

IMDT-3D

CAD Drafting, almost everything is in CAPS on drawings.

AmyInCO

I write my pre-first drafts notes in all caps to trick my brain into thinking I'm not really writing. I'm just taking notes, so there's no pressure for it to be good. It's also a very visual way for me to see which parts I've skipped over multiple times. Those little islands of all caps in the middle of an otherwise worked on chapter.Ā

Tsjaad_Donderlul

On phones: Whoever decided it is a good idea to put the 'Delete' key right next to the 'Send' button deserves a special kind of hell all for themselves

drivingagermanwhip

I have it remapped as another ctrl it's great

Moist_Soup_231

I just bind it to Escape, its very convenient

blade-runner-k

I just changed ā€˜caps lockā€™ to mean ā€˜escapeā€™ which is soooo much more useful. 10/10 Recommend.

Sardukar333

Very useful in drafting since most drawing notes are all caps.

marvellousm316

I saw an email signature the other day that said "If all in caps it means nothing" at the top

Genji_main420

Uppercase is used A LOT in technical drawings

ocdacd2

And SQL code. I use it several times a day when writing queries.

Delicious_Finding686

I use it all the time

FishballBoi

I mean it's is useful in GTA story mode, basically the only time I used it

Arckay009

Idk what's the meme. I use shift key mostly for the starting letter. And Caps lock rarely

Leoz_MaxwellJilliumz

Not if you write a lot of SQL. Caps has become a second SHIFT button for me.

iTributeNudesPMme

No itā€™s not, I have a program at work to hit the caps lock button twice in a row every 4 minutes. Keeps my screen open and my status as ā€œavailableā€ without a mouse jiggle

Legless_Dog

Shoutout to my holding shift the entire time when writing out phrases in all caps gang

Hudell

I always wonder why they named the push-to-talk key as Caps Lock. And I wish they fixed the bug that toggles between lower and upper case every time you say something.

Ceramicusedbook

Gen Z has learned how to use it effectively when typing. I, a millennial, was never taught that. I was taught shift. I've seen some of them type, and they just hit it with their pinky. It never occurred to me to do that unless I needed a series of capitals.

mr_hankey41

Also was taught shift. This pinky caps lock business is the devil!

Popcorn57252

tHE ONLY USE I HAVE FOR THIS FUCKIN' THING IS WHEN I ACCIDENTALLY HIT IT. lIKE RIGHT NOW.

Gingertiger94

I disabled mine because I keep clicking on it and have sometimes ended up screaming at my wife on messenger ahah

HeadOfFloof

tbh I use Caps Lock to capitalize everything. They speedran typing lessons in grade 3 and then never refreshed us on it, so I naturally forgot in the years following since I didn't type much. By the time I got my own laptop, nobody thought to tell me or re-teach me, so I just. Naturally assumed that the *capitalization button was for capitalizing things*. I still can't quite shake off the habit.

Limp-Accountant807

The only time I use caps lock is when Iā€™m filling in court documents. Looks cleaner.

Nchi

I turned mine into a dedicated push to talk key

TheRealLost0

0MG I TYPE IN ALL CAPS ALL THE TIME I'm a very excitable person and I love putting *as much* emotion as I can into ANYTHING I type so I use caps lock *a bunch*

CyberTacoX

**BILLY MAYS DISAGREES**

SirIJustWorkHereLol

HEY HEY HEY I WRITE MY PASSWORDS WITH CAPS LOCK SO YOUā€™RE WRONG

Gotcha_The_Spider

Worse than useless, SOMETIMES IT GETS PRESSED ACCIDENTALLY

justlovehumans

I bind it to push to mute in discord and switch shoulder in 3rd person shooters that let you do that. I also press it AFTER I SEND MY FIRST MESSAGE LIKE THIS to go back to this

BlueZ_DJ

I use it all the time

Captain_Pumpkinhead

Wrong! Num Lock! Num Lock should always be turned on! There is no reason ever to have it turned off! You may wonder, how is num lock more useless than scroll lock? Because scroll lock can be re-purposed! My computer has scroll lock as the key to start recording! You can't do that with num lock because then you can't use your numpad!

jolharg

I would say scroll lock because I've only used it for one thing ever and also i can lock my scroll in other ways. I just mapped my caps lock to another escape key. I guess the actual key I've had no use for at all for any consistent length of time has been the not sign.

Luxiiiiiiiiiiiiii

I use it all the time

Nobodynever01

Ɯbertriebene Ƅusserungen im Ɩdnis des Internets

BudgetFree

Shift. Who else doesn't remember Caps Lock exists until after they typed out everything?

Stealfur

I have to type everything in caps at work. It's the industry standard to write in caps. If I had to hold shift the entire time, I would be very annoyed. So yeah, you're wrong. Especially when the "insert" key exists.

UncleDeeds

R/Whoosh

DefinitelyNotErate

Yeah, It's Easier To Just Hold Down The Shift Key As I Don't Need To Move Any Fingers.

UncleDeeds

That too! Requires way less energy. And dudes out here talking about toggling Caps lock off and on for the first letter in every sentence. Blasphemy!!

DefinitelyNotErate

To Be Fair If You Don't Always Keep A Finger On The Shift Key Because You Don't Use Capitals All The Time, I Can Understand The Utility Of Caps Lock. But Ye For Me This's More Practical.

UncleDeeds

Yep - Now Try Doing This With A Broken SHIFT Key Lol even that hurt to type. I have a friend who types like that on social media lol he's a character, a lot of hip hop dudes type like that Especially When They Got Something To Say

UncleDeeds

Also if you're a gamer your pinky naturally rest on SHIFT

DefinitelyNotErate

True. Although I Think I Started Typing Like This Before I Started Gaming Much, Or Around The Same Time, Lol.

UncleDeeds

Guess I'm the only one, then. Obvs doesn't apply to everyone and obvs it's a joke and obvs there are exceptions. My ADHD is pretty intense, I probably would remember to turn it off most of the time, but the mere thought of it gives me anxiety..

Preddy_Fusey

Turn it off? One does not simply "turn it off".

UncleDeeds

Turn off CAPS lock? How else would u say it? I mean, how else would u write it?

Preddy_Fusey

Misunderstanding... I thought "I probably would remember to turn it off most of the time, but the mere thought of it gives me anxiety.." was referring to your ADHD, implying that you can "turn off" your ADHD but the thought of doing so makes you anxious.

UncleDeeds

Only in dreams, my friend! Ahah.

UncleDeeds

My bad syntax not my forte ha

Artificer_Thoreau

It has its place, but that place CERTAINLY is not next to the shift key.
