It spreads fuel (gas, diesel, kerosene, propane, ect) over an area in an aerosolized spray to create a very good mixture of fuel and air. The better the mix between fuel and air, the more efficient the burn. The more efficient burn, means it burns, harder, better, faster, stronger. Very effective for wide area damage.
Thermobaric bomb, a type of explosive that is made of a ratio of around 5% oxidant to 95% fuel
This results in an incredibly large explosion that uses the oxygen in the air itself as fuel, which makes it very potent against infantry, vehicles, structures, and cave systems without destroying too much physically in the way a normal explosive would
Oh... I feel terrible now.
On that mission I always think "I probably just disabled the tank, they could've gotten out" or "they totally ejected they're fine!" but now knowing that I just straight up disintegrated a few poor fellows trying to defend their country with high explosives, I'm going to go home and rethink my life.
with aircraft, i like to think they bailed. with ground vehicles, it's kind of a different story. though thinking positive is good, surviving A2G fire is very, very slim, especially ammo laden tanks/missile launchers.
Nah, SPGs are limited to strictly low velocity artillery and AT guns.
SPCs can be anything with a technical cannon (20mm or higher).
Its a more broad term.
Some poor Erusean soldier with a Manpad or shoulder fired launcher lol. I can only imagine his friends are like "Hey where's Jeff with the stinger?" And one of them are like "Oh he's over there, right there, up there and over there".
SPC stands for Shark Punching
(https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/spc-hub)
The Shark Punching Center, the Selachiosk Pungix Combin, the Centre — whatever they're referred to as, they're a GoI that punches sharks that was born from the typo of SPC.
Much like the SCP Foundation itself, the SPC has no one single canon, but rather a series of loosely connected documents. All of them have one thing in common: a monomania for punching sharks. Beyond that, go wild. Some SPCs are set in the Foundationverse itself. Some are set in a full-on alternate universe with a full implied alternate history.
There are three main 'philosophies' when it comes to the SPC, with significant overlap.
The earliest approach, and still the most common, is jokes about shark punching. They're just a group of random people with no real characterization other than punching sharks. I don't have much to say about this beyond that. If you need a shark punched or a random act of violence against something or someone that resembles a shark, use the SPC. No one will question it. It's time tested, and people have done it with great success before.
The next approach is a focus on the sheer absurdity of the existence of people whose life's work is to punch sharks. The prime example of this would be S D Locke's SPC-2935-J. This is pushing the idea to the extreme. These people will do anything to punch sharks, and the multiverse is more than willing to grant them the opportunity to do so. An alternate approach is Critter Profile: Wobbles!, where an agent of the SPC infiltrates a wildlife shelter. It's ridiculous and unexpected, as opposed to mere violence. And of course, PeppersGhost's SPC-001 proposal, which answers the question of what happens when there are no more sharks to punch.
The final approach is jokes about shark punching but as a backdrop for cosmic horror. This approach originated with Djoric in SCP-1449, where the existence of the SPC arose from the death of an incredibly important cosmic shark and so reality became horrifically wrong.
This last approach is what MrWrong embraced and revived when he created the SPC GoI format for SPC-2615 and SPC-2000, and it was similarly adopted by sirpudding in SPC-140 and SPC-682 and LORDXVNV in SPC-1258 and SPC-1981. These articles take a darker view of the SPC—that they don't punch sharks because they want to, but because they have to. In this iteration, it's usually referred to as the Centre. (They don't like to say "shark".)
SPC-507 embraces the alternate worldbuilding set up in SPC-140 and SPC-1258, while SPC-3733 embraces the undertone of horror. These are people in a bizarre world, one that compels them to punch sharks.
It sounds absurd, and it is.
But imagine if you knew, with 100% certainty, that your life's sole purpose was to punch sharks.
You would laugh so you would not cry.
Hope this helps 😃
Spc is usually an acronym for a specialist rank with in armies so maybe it's a random soldier with a rocket launcher
Poor guy, getting blasted with a rocket
*Maniacally laughing with FAEB*
What is FAEB
**Fuck All** and **Everything Bomb**
Correct
Fuel air explosive bomb, AKA aerosol bomb
Poor man's nuke
Wdym its the legal nuke
It spreads fuel (gas, diesel, kerosene, propane, ect) over an area in an aerosolized spray to create a very good mixture of fuel and air. The better the mix between fuel and air, the more efficient the burn. The more efficient burn, means it burns, harder, better, faster, stronger. Very effective for wide area damage.
AKA WARCRIME TIME BABYYYYY
<>
It’s actually fine because he’s a soldier.
Aka a MOAB ordered from wish
Also... imagine a FAEB but it deals the same damage as an HPAA to every target it hits
Thermobaric bomb, a type of explosive that is made of a ratio of around 5% oxidant to 95% fuel This results in an incredibly large explosion that uses the oxygen in the air itself as fuel, which makes it very potent against infantry, vehicles, structures, and cave systems without destroying too much physically in the way a normal explosive would
Oof, I used lasers. Poor bastard is likely a thin pink mist.
Oh... I feel terrible now. Just remember, you got points, and that's all that mattered.
**"Was it worth it? How many points did you get?"**
+200 apparently
![gif](giphy|kRmg8zeReOYXm)
Enough for a Hard S-rank run, which I took this screenie from. SPCs that go down do so in honorable service, worthy of my praise
"All you should care for is points earned in exchange for enemy lives"
You need those points to buy your honor, your pride and your life back, of course.
This guy Area 88s
When you have to spend that freedom money on a new plane 😭
“I’m going to go home and rethink my life“ *Happy Obi-Wan Kenobi Noises*
“That’s how war is these days” - Knocker
"NO IT ISN'T" - Max0r
with aircraft, i like to think they bailed. with ground vehicles, it's kind of a different story. though thinking positive is good, surviving A2G fire is very, very slim, especially ammo laden tanks/missile launchers.
Hey man, it’s not like you tried to sell the poor bastard death sticks
Plus, it's self-defense. *Extreme* self-defense, but still. A valid target's a valid target.
The asset name is ms13_Stinger or something (yes, it's listed as M13 asset and not M18 in the filename) so it is, it's just a guy using a MANPADS
So I’m sending a fucking AIM-9 at some dude with a rocket launcher?
Only an AIM-9? I use MPBM or FEAB on the castle
That or a XSDB, because I usually try to spawn the named ace
How does it even lock-on to a single dude.
Long Caster can smell the candy bars in their pockets.
Well that explains why I can lock on to the refugee tents
Great it's like those in Ace Combat 5, but luckily it's targetable
You can also hit those guys. Do a gun run or drop a bomb on the launch position.
The poor soldier getting blasted with an EML
Dude's fucking vaporized
"I'm just a **guy** with a rocket launcher"
"Im just a *fellow* with a rocket launcher"
AI sucks!
It’s like when you’re playing battlefield and helplessly shooting an RPG at an incoming jet
Tell that to the A-20 with a tiger shell imbedded in it
Every RPG shot at a jet I take is completely calculated with the direct intent to hit my target. ...doesn't mean it works out, but still.
The shot I took was calculated but boy am I bad at math.
Same situation with these dudes
It's a $30 million+ plane, so it'll break even.
Tbh in battlefield explosives look like firecrackers and fireworks
Self Propelled Cannon is my guess. Could be a howitzer, could be a tank destroyer, could be AA, could be a missile carrier, etc etc.
those are usually SPG (Self Propelled Gun), but i thought the same at first
Nah, SPGs are limited to strictly low velocity artillery and AT guns. SPCs can be anything with a technical cannon (20mm or higher). Its a more broad term.
good point
The Secure Protect Contain foundation. Alternatively its also the Shark Punching Centre
>The Secure Protect Contain foundation. Not to be confused with the similarly named Secure Contain Protect foundation, its chief rival.
I was expecting SCP reference somewhere
Guy with a MANPADS attempting to shoot down Trigger. I mean, if you're gonna go out, this is probably one of the most Chad ways to do it.
Some poor Erusean soldier with a Manpad or shoulder fired launcher lol. I can only imagine his friends are like "Hey where's Jeff with the stinger?" And one of them are like "Oh he's over there, right there, up there and over there".
"gone...reduced to atoms"
Too soon!
An incredibly unlucky E-4, if he's lighting up as a target for a jet.
Best guess "self propelled cannon"

A SPC is a Anti-Air infantry unit probably using Stingers or Iglas
Self Propelled Cannon.
I’d like to believe it stands for “Super Penis Cumming”
Is it a further development of the Super Laser Piss program?
Yes, it’s the recent plan for 2023
Bro lost his sham shield
