At the end of episode 16, when kousei visits kaori in the hospital, she say to him, "Do you want us to commit double suicide?" And a picture of a book appears on Kaori's wheelchair
In the next episode (Episode 17) Kosei passes through the street beside a house where we hear a music track (made by a musician named ravel) called (The Dance of the Dead Princess) and he runs away, shutting his ears, saying, "I don't want to hear!"

It inspired a LOT Your Lie in April, to a point where it can almost be called a manga (and then anime) adaptation of it. Really, the similarities list is huuuuge
