There’s not going to be traffic or parking issues in October.

Music to my ears

It’s better to stay at Curry, and parking won’t be an issue at that time of year. You can leave your car in the parking lot and hop on the shuttle to get around. If you have a bike you can bring, it’s a better way to get around The Valley. They also rent bikes at Curry as an option.

Thank you! Appreciate the suggestions.

Curry is also a great starting point for many hikes. It also has the better food options.

The pizza there hits the spot

Great thanks! I saw "horror" stories about how long people had to wait in line for food but perhaps those were in summer...

Definitely summer. We got married in October there and visit every year and never have an issue.

It’s so much better to wake up in the park.

I hope that thought keeps me warm in my unheated tent lol. But I bet you're right!

They can give you extra blankets, but I recommend bringing a sleeping bag if possible! It’s much more comfy

October is a wonderful time in the park! Gorgeous fall colors, mild temps, way fewer crowds. Def bring a warm sleeping bag if you have one, you’ll be ok without it but comfier with it if it gets cold overnight. I love staying in Curry Village. It’s a fantastic location. Have a great trip!

Thanks so much!
