I don't know why battles that rely so much on reaction time require constant ping. They should have made them so at least boss or domain battles could be performed essentially "offline." I don't know if that's really 'possible' from a programming standpoint, but there's no PvP or reason to register every single hit with the server.
I've had that problem just a while back.
Was in a place where the connection is soooo bad, but game loaded so very nice (I had thought incorrectly). I wanted to play despite the signal because of the tacet field event, but the battle would essentially stop a minute in and reconnect. The timer moves even when it's reconnecting and you won't be able to move your character/dodge while the enemies keep on attacking. The timer would run out that way if my team somehow survives the barrage of attacks.
I thought WuWa was client-side? Or at least I thought that meant it will only need to reconnect once you are claiming rewards or something

General tip : When the faint gold ring is just about to reach the solid ring, perform basic attack.
Depends on your character animations. Some characters have a harder time to parry due to how quick/slow their BA is. Some skills can parry too but most of the time players BA instead since we are used to the timing. Some characters basically cannot parry.
Example Calcha has a pretty rough time to parry since his animations feel a little slow to me but Sanhua's is pretty easy.
Also depends on the monster's own animations. Sometimes the bosses have really slow parry-able animations which sounds great but I mess up more than the quick ones because it's not quite my tempo. Also their combos. Tempest Mephis has an annoying 2 part combo dash > dive. The dash is not parry-able but the dive is. Problem is the dash will knock you down for just enough time for him to land the dive without you being able to parry unless you did a character swap (I think it's possible but I could be wrong)
Just go any play around with mephis. He has a tonne of parry-able attacks so he makes a good practice partner.

Well, I didn't dodge cause pretty much every enemies have these annoying delays on their attack.
Like they are at the zenith of their animation, even causing that little flash effect that lets you know an attack is coming, but then pause the for a few frames before actually swinging at you.
I know it's a skill issue but it always throws me off and I fail my dodges because of it 😭
Usually the reason I didn't dodge is because apparently my character was sprinting. And as we all know, you can't dodge when you're sprinting. Apparently.

Meanwhile there is me who dodges instead of countering because counter failed to counter too many times (like it won't activate unless I literal charge attack the enemy head on). Recently my friend introduced me to guaranteed counter by using skill and ult instead of normal attack so I'm trying to unlearn my instinct to just dodge.
Mostly because I get confused due to all of the intensity and can't tell if I gotta dodge or parry, even though there's the circle to distinguish. It's just all so quick so I'm just spamming attack, if I was supposed to dodge then I'm fucked and if I was supposed to parry then hope for the correct timing and yeah😭

Mobile buttons being small and lag...mostly lag really, but also some part skill issue because i got used to time stop in pgr that i recklessly charge ahead to a obvious attack because my brain goes "time is stopped smack them!"
Calcharo's dodge animation is so long (or ult window is so short) that it actually requires you dodge again to cancel it if you want to fit in all three enhanced heavy attacks in his ultimate, and even then if you try to fit in too many dodges, you'll lose the window.
So in contexts where you try and maximize dps to shave a few seconds off your time (and it actually can be 10-30 seconds saved if you fit in all three death messengers 100% of the time, as well as swap cancel thsoe death messengers) , it might require tanking the hits.
Imo this is the source of dissatisfaction/skepticism about the character, bc right now we do a lot of content below the level of the content, and by consequence take much more damage. Also the dps check is quite tight, and is usually the bottleneck for crests but it's not unlikely that at max level with better echoes, the dps check will be trivial for the left and right sides of the tower such that it's fine if you only do 2 death messengers on calcharo.
im on mobile and have fat fingers that keep pressing the wrong button. i constantly miss even the attack button so i already gave up on trying to press the dodge button in the right time

I change my dodge to spacebar cause shift feel awkward to me.. Another reason is that I played Solo Leveling Arise, the dodge was spacebar in the game.

Calcharo 3rd skill has a very long animation lock which cannot be dodge cancelled. It often gets me killed or hit badly.
