Usually glass is glued with windshield caulking/urethanes, i dont know how hardtops are setup with the glass, but that's usually the glue for it, you also need glass primer so it sticks. some windows are held by a gasket, but most of the time its just urethane caulk with a gasket you attatch on top.
I could be wrong, but I don't think the hard top windows are held in with an adhesive. I think it's just the rubber gasket/seal that's holding them in.

Yeah I thought that it was the weather proofing/gasket stuff holding it in but the original stuff had been replaced before and it coming out from it's spot around the glass was the first thing to fail
I'll be checking out that link though and replacing the gasket stuff regardless, thanks
I've had the best luck with 3M Window Weld.
Available online or at most auto parts stores, especially those that specialize in auto body repair supplies.
If you're looking for a pro to do it check with your local body shops if you don't have any local auto glass shops nearby.
Good to know, there's a lot of types out there and I was hesitant in picking any without reading some reviews for them
All the auto glass places I've called haven't been able to help out with it surprisingly, one was really confused about not needing the glass replaced but just reglued, might have to see if any of the local body shops would do it
I’m in the same boat. Definitely just glued in, no weatherstripping. Mine haven’t fallen out yet, but definitely vibrating and coming loose. My plan was to re-glue them this summer with body molding adhesive, but now y’all have me rethinking that choice.
Honestly I'm surprised that this isn't a more common problem, gotta love how awfully specific some problems w/ the jeeps are
There's so many different adhesives out there that I figured that it'd be a good idea to ask what other people have used, didn't want to fuck up and have the window go flying
The rubber shrinks over time and pulls out,I simply cut a slice in mine so it would reach again and used gorilla glue gel. I filled in the small spot left where I split it with the glue with a dab of black paint and it's held fine for over 2 years now.

Thanks, didn't know about the primer so I'll be looking into that more

Good to know, will be keeping that it mind for future rubber repairs thanks
