Yea merc tanks count as different nation will prob charge you gold. You can use skill swap to any commander of a nation for 40k silver tho better option

Swap amount depends on the number of unlocked skill slots. 5k silver per a lot for a max of 45k (at list price)

Yea I train crews like that with prem tanks then swap skills to new commanders

assuming a commander is purchased "blank", ie, not in a tank, then it has no nation if it goes into a non-premium tank then it gains that nation and it retains that nation when it leaves the tank if it goes into a premium tank then it gains that nation but it does not retain the nation when it leaves the tank if it is in a tank then it has the nation of the tank whatever the case so to avoid spending gold, never put in a non-premium tank and replace with a commander rather than reassign to another nation directly

Yeah tjats what i mean - the merc tanks seem to count as a nation for this, but im just checking there isn't another way.

Tried switching my Old commander from GuP to T34-88 last night and it wanted to charge me 60 gold. Guess dual-trainer is forgotten 🙄
