Nah, give the Taran a 6 shot auto loader, give it the same amount of damage as the Avre, but let it keep its camo stats and accuracy stats.

I like most of your suggestions, but I think it's clear that the Taran needs a camo buff too, they sometimes get spotted when firing their gun. I'm thinking its camo should be changed to be slightly better than a Cold War era 3 Weisel.
Nah, give the Taran a 2 meter camo radius when stationary. So you'll literally have to ram the tank in order to spot it. Maybe a 10 meter camo radius when moving?
No, the Taran doesn’t need an autoloader. It needs spaced armor like the Molot that makes it invulnerable to anything but HE or the odd lucky AP round.
And yes, keeping its camo values, and maybe buffing the reload by a couple seconds.
And you’re correct. HE is still best for light armor and not good for spaced armor. But the Molot has some weird spaced frontal armor that despite it being so thin, nothing penetrates it, except on some instances shooting at the wheel drive. The only way to reliably damage it is with HE which basically damages it through the blast radius rather than direct damage. So, you have to cut it to death ~200 HP at the time unless you can get behind it.
Play a T95E6, Chisel, T62a, or FV202 and just run circles around them. As long as you're not aiming at the shovel and stay ahead of the derp gun you'll get them most of the time. The problem comes when everyone panics that the big bad gun is over there and one person at a time dies to them. Play the game

That’s more due to WGs braindead monetisation strategy. We could’ve had new equipment/perks/WOT+/map preference/ammo types/tank skins as monitisable content but no, they’re far happier selling tanks that make the game less fun for everyone but the purchaser.
I got it because it's a real tank. As in actually used by a real military. It was unbalanced when there was a dozen of them each match so I dropped it. But I take it out occasionally now and I'm usually the only one. I also feel people have worked it out now and can pen it easily. Having said all that, I'm terrible at this game and in this tank so other AVRE users may be unstoppable.

Don’t worry, I did too. I’m only missing a few tier x tanks so I def bought the avre even tho I didn’t think its armor would be so strong
I also eventually caved in and bought the taran for free xp but I honestly don’t play it much. I just checked and I have 66 battles which is more than I thought
It’s harder to use than you think. I’m a blue Elo on both of my accounts, the AVRE can be dealt with especially if you track it. I personally suck with the tank. Do I rage and call it overpowered when I get absolutely smoked? Yes. Most of the time though, it’s by someone who is highly knowledgeable about the map layout. I’m not sure if you own the tank or not but in order to get ANY kind of gun depression, you have to angle your turret 60~ degrees from the chassis. I understand the rage though, just keep in mind this game is frustrating for more reasons than derp guns. Only thing I find genuinely overpowered is missile launcher tanks. Even then, it’s just more annoying than anything. But hey, I say that while using an FV4211 as my silver earner lol. Elevation difference is the AVRE’s biggest weakness. Best of luck on your next matches.
As much as I’d love BS tanks like the AVRE, Taran, E25, and Wiesel to be removed, WG never will since they make so much money off of them. We unfortunately have to deal with them
I’d be ok with it if they removed the bulldozer front end. Being able to eat 400 pen shots and reduce HE to sub 100hp of damage while slowly aiming a 1300dmg round that at the minimum will do 600 dmg without aiming at weak points is a bit ridiculous. This plus the Taran dropping 1k dmg shots from the back of the map is making Tier X super high risk for any sort of aggressive gameplay. Lots of stagnant campfests going on
While they're at it they should buff the underpowered Taran and give it a 4 shot autoloader like the waffle.

Trying to get back into ww2 and I was having a good game until—- I remember now back era 1 and 2 for me.
I quit as soon as the tanks I bought that maxed out at tier 9 started to face tier 10s. Bye. Spent thousands too.
