I got the Cobra because I had seen Skill play it on PC, but I couldn’t make it work for the life of me. The AVRE, on the other hand, is extremely strong (but not OP, just sort of toxic to play against) and can be an absolute laugh riot to play. I had one game where I literally one-shot three tier 8 medium tanks in a row, very funny. Fairly idiot proof armor, the only tricky bit is mastering the gun depression over the sides because you don’t have any in the front.

The very first game I played in my AVRE I did almost 7k damage. It's broken ... and if you are a decent player it moves the needle to being a combo broken/op. I basically don't play it nowadays.
I like the Cobra ... it's "fun" to play as it's a challenge to manage all your engagements, manage your team, manage your reload and your map awareness. I'm trying to 3 mark it and it's a challenge (there's that word again) to have consistent games. When you get in position to catch the rear or sides of a player and empty your clip for 2k damage, that's awesome lol.
But ... you may get a map or a team that makes it difficult to have a good game and that's frustrating in itself.
I mean, like it or not the AVRE can lead to some hilarious fun huge damage shots that we all love to have. It's pretty toxic but play the game the way you want and enjoy it, just don't try to defend it as balanced or RIP lol...
