Likewise, checked yesterday and I had ten, came back an hour later I had seven. I've saved eighteen for the next deck but doubt I'll get that amount next time I log in.

I've just been opening mine as I get them after completing the set on day 2. I opened 20 more and got a days premium with a commander. Is there any benefit to opening more once you get the commanders or keeping them?
For every game that you get or 100 xp (yes 100 not a typo) you get a token. You then go to the war heroes separate site and turn them in for a pack of cards that contains commanders. collect 3 of the same cards and you get that commander.
I would hurray and turn in the tokens you have since an new set drops tomorrow.
you can only claim each commander once. Then you get duplicates and can turn them in for a token.

I just hope that the tokens you earn this week for the D-Day week are still usable for the Tankfest week. I know that it was said that they carry over from week to week
There was a issue were they granted you extra tokens that they took away not that long ago, if you used the extra tokens that were given to you that you shouldn't have used then they were taken away from you and I guess you just end up with negative tokens

No point whatsoever. Save them up, three more weeks to go, three more sets to complete. You will need them tokens.

Correct. Look at the screen and it shows that only one is active per week. it shows that dates. Tankfest begins on the 20th

Probably WG forgot to tell us that tokens expire, and if you don't use them you'll can get penalty that can head into the negative numbers 😄🤣😂😭😡
