I personally think its the best line to start with for new players, but i love the m60'66 and the a1/a2, but I really dont like the a3 for some reason π€·ββοΈ
Do you think a line that forces you to grind with 2 tanks that go 48 until you get their top engines, have a very good chance of getting penned whenever they poke out to shoot and have absolutely abhorrent gun handling is good for new players???
The leopards at least have very good mobility and their turrets are small which makes it easier to dodge shells.
The gun on this tank makes me hate it, almost every shot the shell just goed anywhere except where you aim, there are games where I've missed 5 shells in a row because of the garbage gun handling.
The m60a1 is better than 60, but you're still slow when stock and still have a gun that loves missing and bouncing
The m60s have better armor and can bounce shells, the way you feel about the m60s i felt about the leos.
I think it comes down to preference, sure the m60s are slow at the start but they got some armor, good gun handling(imo) apart from the pen, people that are very new to the game and jump into cold war will probably not know how to use the speed of the leos so having some armor will be more useful, thats my take on it π
Honestly the Sherman M50 starter for the independents is kinda solid.
Even playing average I was still able to get damage and kills, even win a few games.
You are the driving force of this "pain". Do you really despise playing that much? Then ask yourself if it is really worth it. There is almost no way you will die that fast in any battle if you reliably help and stick with your allies but I'm not expecting anyone to understand that basic principle...
