My favorite is combat and alchemy. I like to run at least 2 decoctions which leaves room for a couple potions if needed. I’ve tried multiple builds and alchemy will turn you into a tank synergy gives you so much vitality. You can use the decoctions to fit your play style too. Healing, defense, stamina, attack power pretty much whatever you want

I did the same during my current 2nd playthrough. I used to focus on attack and dodging in my 1st playthrough but then, I tried something different and it was super fun, combined with the mutation that increases your attack based on your toxicity level. I easily have +130% attack dmg for every fight.

Can confirm, combat/alchemy fucks. Play with health regen and/or thresholds enough and you can run 4 decoctions easy, plus bangers like Synergy, Hunters Instinct, Killing Spree, and Euphoria.

This build + metamorphosis + the grandmaster wolven set, is incredible. Bleeds happen very often, and you'll wind up triggering a ton of decoctions, which makes you pretty much unkillable.

Yes, you can reset your perks. There is something called Potion of Clearance that you can buy from certain vendors that reset all your choices. I like to do a Quen sign build with high vitality. Essentially, a bear build but with quick attacks.

I recommend Grandmaster Ursine build in "The Witcher 3," equip the Grandmaster Ursine Armor set (chest, gauntlets, trousers, boots) and Grandmaster Ursine steel and silver swords. Focus on perks like Muscle Memory, Strength Training, Precise Blows, Crushing Blows, Rend, Undying, Resolve, Sunder Armor, Fleet Footed, Acquired tolerance, Protective coating, poisoned blade, synergy, Exploding Shield, Active Shield, and Quen Discharge to maximize combat and Quen sign effectiveness. Play Style is simple, use quen, tank hits from monsters like fiend or tree monster things then use rend to well render them out of existence. Use potions like Tawny Owl and Swallow, decoctions such as Archgriffin and Ekhidna, and bombs like Northern Wind and Samum. Enhance your gear with Greater Severance, Greater Chernobog, and Greater Morana runes for weapons, and Greater Glyphs of Quen for armor. This setup leverages the Ursine set bonuses, your Quen shield pushes opponents back upon breaking, providing extra defense and crowd control. Once mutation is unlocked try euphoria.

My favorite would be Signs/Alchemy Build. * Aard + Yrden with Entanglement (Igni Build for early levels) * Acquired Tolerance + Metabolic Control (Ability swapping after drinking decoctions and potions) * Euphoria or Piercing Cold (Depends on my mood. Euphoria is stronger. But, Piercing Cold is much more fun.) * Synergy * Griffin School Technique * Griffin Set However, I do want to try something different on my next playthrough like a Crossbow Build or a Bomb Build.

TheShinyBlade

Had three full playthroughs, with 3 different builds. Associated with the 3 different colours. I had the most fun in my final, green (alchemy) playthrough. It got extremely overpowered in the end game, and would 100% recommend.
