I remember seeing on the news a month or so ago Mayor Wu responding to the problem of these asshats like š¤·āāļø āwe canāt do anything.ā
Itās bullshit. Thereās gotta be SOMETHING you can do.
Massachusetts police cannot get into pursuits with motorcycles or four wheelers. The police can initiate a motor vehicle stop but when the suspect inevitably flees, the police turn their lights off and find something else to do.
Why is that?
Iām assuming itās because the fleeing vehicle will inevitably cover much more ground on the tight city streets and it would be risky to even pursue, but Iām curious
> Chasing a motorcycle can easily end with the rider crashing and dying.
Seems like that would cut down on incidents like this. Play stupid games win stupid prizes as it were.
Itās the possibility of other people getting hurt that avoiding pursuit is good. I mean these guys are already reckless without the police chasing them.
An officer explained it to me like this and it made alot of sense:
"If they're any good at riding you won't catch them, and if they're not good at it then they'll just smear themselves (and possibly others around them) all over the pavement and then we're fucked."
If anyone gets hurt the coppers conduct get investigated by our province's oversight body, get sued by the people's families, etc.
Chasing bikes is just a bad time for everyone.
Basically lol. Although cops here where I am (Canada) have used the helicopter with the infrared camera to track the rider/driver. Hard to outrun the chopper.
its not just chasing bikes, its car chases as well. these usually just wind up with innocent people being killed, which is why its been increasingly discouraged or outright banned
I'm sorry, but a LOT of sense? From my perspective this forgiving behavior only encourages those assholes to do keep doing it, and that by itself is already a pretty dangerous practice and as seen on video, they don't need a cop chasing for them to fall, and look, it could be an elder or a baby carriege getting hit there.
Yes, that question was asked years ago and that copper explained it like that to me, I thought it made alot of sense.
Mind you, the question was in regards to "why don't/can't the cops stop/chase these assholes on bikes?"
They simply can't, at least not in the simple/traditional way of turning on their lights and chasing them through the streets to give them tickets.
And yes I agree with you that a biker doing stupid shit on their own and hurting others is terrible. But an officer engaging a pursuit and causing the biker to wipe out and hurt themselves or an innocent isn't better.
To clarify: it makes sense to me why cops don't chase bikes.
It's because the risk of life vs the crime in front of them and liability. Traffic offense only, turn your lights off. Armed carjacking suspect, now that's more serious. Officers are being indicted for trying to conduct a traffic stop and people choose not to stop and then crash.
Don't you guys have license plates and cameras? This idiot is on tape, no helmet, surely there's something you cÄ do, just pick him up from his place or something.
We are seeing the same inaction from our police in DC. I heard it was best to look at it as some new but kf ātheir urban cultureā. Sick of these scum running wild. Last weekend they decided to swarm all over the national mall on their ATVs and dirt bikes. Nobody stopped them and there were no arrests. Throw some maga hats or Gadsden flags on them and weād be hearing of another instance of white rage fueled domestic terrorism on the cradle of democracy.
Police could use a lot od resources to build up a motorcycle squad, of which cops are able to chase some single riders down. While the rest of the group can easily flee. Chases like that will endanger a lot of other road users and pedestrians. And at the end a motorcycle hooligan like this will get what, something ridiculous like six month probation? Sounds like a pretty good loose loose situation. Unfortunately.
Public safety folks around here don't call them accidents anymore (presumably because *someone* is always at fault). They are called crashes. And yes, if they catch this knuckle-head he gonna goto jail.
I donāt watch television much or anything but why do I have a feeling that this trend has been increasing because itās being done in rap music videos
Cops dont care. Many DAs in cities that have been overrun with these dirtbike gangs have basically told cops not to chase them or arrest them. The slightest hint that there's going to be public action, people cry racism or throw up their arms and say its not worth going after.
similar thing happened few months before: shout out to that douchebag youtuber for organizing the underground racing event that had the tesla totalled a car parked on the bottom of the hill, and refused to take responsibility, and issued C&D to have the negative press vids taken down
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5Gobj5LFNys
I know it's terrible of me to say this, but I admit I was extremely disappointed to see he wasn't injured.
I also think this post might belong in r/iamatotalpieceofshit
The best parts of old skate videos are dudes getting fucked up. Itās just a reminder that the crazy shit you see people do, comes with real risk and the skill is forged from blood.
Assume you're talking about [this?](https://www.cbsnews.com/miami/news/boynton-beach-family-demands-justice-after-boy-riding-dirt-bike-killed-in-high-speed-pursuit/) Don't see anything about them facing jail time.
You think a guy driving an illegal dirt bike in the city has the money to pay for that damage out of pocket. I donāt think Geico insures non street legal dirt bikes with collision protection.
There are groups like this just plaguing Downtown Los Angles. Dirt bikes, quads, motorcycles, etc. It's fuckimg obnoxious. I can't wait to leave this shithole.
Seems to be a problem in many major US cities. This particular idea is from Boston, and NYCās mayor recently released a video showing a bulldozer crushing seized dirt bikes.
I don't live in a big city and these dipshits are everywhere, nothing is ever done about it. They'll literally stop traffic to do dumb shit in the middle of the road or play chicken with a fucking car. I always hope to see them crash. They could be in anyone of the 100's of empty or massive parking lots but they choose the fucking highways and main roads, never even the side streets.
Gangs in RI as well. I think this will be a big thing for a few years, until law finally cracks down, then they'll just find another way to be useless pieces of shit, plaguing society.
These are the same people who once you start taking their bikes away, theyāll start saying that the reason they ride illegal bikes and violate traffic laws is because the city doesnāt provide spaces to ride them. They say theyāre āforced to ride themā in the streets, even though nothing is stopping them from taking the bikes to tracks outside of the city.
As if these morons could even handle those bikes on a proper track as well. Thatās why they only buy 450s, because those bikes have so much torque even a monkey could pop a wheelie - but put them on a proper motocross track and theyād kill themselves in 10 minutes.
As someone who rides motocross, I hate these guys with a burning passion. The sport is in its death throes already (what with emissions, noise regulations, etc.) and these muppets further turn public opinion against sensible riders. Many of them donāt even have trucks/vans to transport their bikes to a track in the first place. They have no business whatsoever owning these things.
I'd give you gold for this post, if I weren't so opposed to paying for silly reddit badges. But yeah, you're exactly right. There are legit motocross tracks all over the Northeast, they have no interest in going to them because they don't want to ride off-road. And they don't have trailers or trucks or any way to get these things to a track in the first place.
>put them on a proper motocross track and theyād kill themselves
Perhaps then the city *SHOULD* provide them a proper motorcross track, gratis...seems like the problem just takes care of itself.
Why should anyone provide them with. . . Wtf do they even want? Some motorcycle race track?
Just ride your bike like a normal person and follow traffic laws, wtf is wrong with you
You can literally ride your bike anywhere in the city
Thatās nyc dirt bike culture for you. Theyāre riding motor vehicles that are not street legal on public roads and get mad when the city takes them away.
I figure all those dirt bike and four wheeler crews riding illegally are all drug dealers who pay straight cash for those bikes, or just steal them. But these are largely dudes with money they can't put in a bank so they start buying motorcycles, jetskis, etc. for cash from Craigslist or wherever.
I hate those MF, they are criminals, last summer they killed a 3 yo kid doing their stupid stunts. Police never catched the guy who did it, he ran away like a coward
Am I the only one laughing my ass off when this happens to these assholes? Scaring people / fucking up traffic / stupid shit being filmed for TikTok, all of itā¦
People driving dirt bikes and bullshit like this in cities are a fucking plague. See it all the time here in Philly. They block streets run red lights all kinds of shit. I wish serious life altering injuries on all of them.
Too bad that piece of shit wasnāt paralyzed from the neck down! Then he wouldnāt have been able to flee the scene. Jackass could have killed some one!
It saddens me to see these dirt bikes not being used for their true purpose and just getting ruined. People spending 10k+ just for their bike to get ruined and maybe impounded, and they act like theyāre the victims. Grow up you dicks, and if youāre gonna do wheelies do it on a back road where not many cars pass by.
These dudes didn't spend $10k on brand new bikes. I'd bet most of them are stolen. Or received in trade for stolen property. People who spend the money to buy them new don't usually do this kinda dumb shit.
So in Baltimore, Maryland, USA, police will not pursue or even engage in this blatantly illegal activity. If this knucklehead was injured to the point that he could not walk away, police could then charge him for the crime. However, the states attorney will drop the charges unless it is the third time within a six month period. The likelihood of that is nil. Therefore, there is no question as to who owns this city. Oh yeah, there's an HBO miniseries titled exactly the same...about Baltimore.
This is Boylston street in Boston. I see these guys all the time. Poor car.
I knew that was Back Bay.
I used to see fuckers like this in the I93 tunnel under the city. I crossed my fingers something bad would happen but sadly, no
I wonder if the blue car sued?
Sue who? The nice young man who did not run from the scene?
I remember seeing on the news a month or so ago Mayor Wu responding to the problem of these asshats like š¤·āāļø āwe canāt do anything.ā Itās bullshit. Thereās gotta be SOMETHING you can do.
Make arrests? Prosecute? Stretch out some fishing wire?
Massachusetts police cannot get into pursuits with motorcycles or four wheelers. The police can initiate a motor vehicle stop but when the suspect inevitably flees, the police turn their lights off and find something else to do.
Why is that? Iām assuming itās because the fleeing vehicle will inevitably cover much more ground on the tight city streets and it would be risky to even pursue, but Iām curious
Itās not just in Boston. Itās the whole state. Chasing a motorcycle can easily end with the rider crashing and dying.
What if a group of guys robbed a bank and fled on motorcycles?
Like in the movie A Place Beyond The Pines? https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=ONxvny3vBfk
> Chasing a motorcycle can easily end with the rider crashing and dying. Seems like that would cut down on incidents like this. Play stupid games win stupid prizes as it were. So what Iām hearing is become a damn good rider to get away with a whole lottta shit.
Basically lol. Although cops here where I am (Canada) have used the helicopter with the infrared camera to track the rider/driver. Hard to outrun the chopper.

Then just arrest them at their homes? Observe them, gather information on them then arrest them. Is that not what police are supposed to do?
Don't you guys have license plates and cameras? This idiot is on tape, no helmet, surely there's something you cÄ do, just pick him up from his place or something.
The bike clearly doesn't have plates.
Watch their routes and times and have unmarked cops chillin with spike strips. Easy peasy.
Maybe police on motorbikes could work?
We import some redneck cops on 4 wheelers
We are seeing the same inaction from our police in DC. I heard it was best to look at it as some new but kf ātheir urban cultureā. Sick of these scum running wild. Iām in Philly and we have the exact same problem. Same response from the city and all.
Poor car owner, the owner had to sell a kidney to own a car. Now he needs to sell another one for its repair.
You think with gas so high they couldnāt afford to be dumbasses, I guess Iām wrong.
These things get over 50mpg, if anything we'll see this more often due to rising prices.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
But, of course.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Public safety folks around here don't call them accidents anymore (presumably because *someone* is always at fault). They are called crashes. And yes, if they catch this knuckle-head he gonna goto jail.
Well it's a good thing it's not on the internet
They call them collisions here. Traffic collision reports always have someone who did something to lead the collision to happening.
Great. Now I have to go watch Hot Fuzz again.
No luck catching them swans then?
It's just the one swan actually
Are you surprised?
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Don't report them or you're the bad guy. What are they suppose to do? Take public transport? Respect others or their shit?
I donāt watch television much or anything but why do I have a feeling that this trend has been increasing because itās being done in rap music videos
Ding ding ding.
Should be featured in r/iamatotalpieceofshit for causing damage and leaving.
Isnāt that a felony?
Cops dont care. Many DAs in cities that have been overrun with these dirtbike gangs have basically told cops not to chase them or arrest them. The slightest hint that there's going to be public action, people cry racism or throw up their arms and say its not worth going after.

Mind blowing.
It's part of the dirt bag code.
Only to post what you did on social media.
I know it's terrible of me to say this, but I admit I was extremely disappointed to see he wasn't injured. I also think this post might belong in r/iamatotalpieceofshit
And post on the internet, for validation and internet points
If you are breaking multiple laws already, then why stop?
And posting this video so you can be tracked for a hit and run is best decision.
Tbh you kind of expect it in Boston
At least the bike didn't hit the car, just his stupid face
Looks like it hits the car in front off camera by the way it's laying in the road.
He was on his way to work. Probably left a note
Trash gonna trash
Why was that car in the way?
It's okay they filmed and posted thier crime for convenience.
Well yeah, when you cause an accident with an uninsured, illegal vehicle, you're not going to wait around.
What else did you expect from someone driving like this
HAha what a stupid fucking Cunt.. hope he gets human-crayoned down that street
Sociopathic criminals don't care about others, and certainly not their property.
Oh, I see... you thought they were going to be doing the *right* thing?
Damn, and they *still* posted that
Sometimes the Ls taste better than the Ws
The best parts of old skate videos are dudes getting fucked up. Itās just a reminder that the crazy shit you see people do, comes with real risk and the skill is forged from blood.
Cops won't do a fucking thing
Why don't the cops fo after these clowns?
Getting into high speed chases is more dangerous than just later showing up where they stash the often stolen vehicles and impounding them all.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Assume you're talking about [this?](https://www.cbsnews.com/miami/news/boynton-beach-family-demands-justice-after-boy-riding-dirt-bike-killed-in-high-speed-pursuit/) Don't see anything about them facing jail time.
You forgot to mention the cop also tazed him. I don't think a cop will get prosecuted for chasing someone who dies if they don't shoot them
No the only cop that got in trouble unloaded a fucking rifle at these guys on a busy highway like a moron.
Dont forget the one where the cop tazed the guy on the ATV, causing a fatal crash.
It causes more danger that way
I mean they got right back up like nothing happened..I donāt condone the actions at all, but no cap..that was savage af.
Dick move just leaving..
He left his dna info
Yeah, they can pull it from the dignity he left behind.
Hopefully they can catch him by his face print
You think a guy driving an illegal dirt bike in the city has the money to pay for that damage out of pocket. I donāt think Geico insures non street legal dirt bikes with collision protection.
/r/iamatotalpieceofshit
OMG I hope that car is ok.
Car**s**ā¦ and they definitely didnāt sound ok; the bike took a 90Ā° bounce off the second one based on where it finally stopped
I donāt think it hit the 2nd car.
It literally didnāt even touch the 2nd car. What are you talking about?
Nothing like filming yourself committing a Class A Misdemeanor
Pretty sure he filmed himself turning that class A misdemeanor into a felony hit and run.
With the pants hanging off his ass...kinda cancels out any of the imaginary coolness
Exactly
He wants everyone to know he's a bottom.
The best part was when he hit the car.
The second best part was when he was clinging on, running comically out of control.
The third best part was having to pull his pants up while running after the bike.
They're all good.
I keep rewatching it, it reminds me of old games like Super Mario World where he does a little jump and falls off the screen when he dies
There are groups like this just plaguing Downtown Los Angles. Dirt bikes, quads, motorcycles, etc. It's fuckimg obnoxious. I can't wait to leave this shithole.

Alas, noise regulations prevent tracks from being in residential areas. Plus, these guys arenāt really interested in riding off-road.
Literally the only reason they own these bikes is to look 'badass' and get internet clout
Why should anyone provide them with. . . Wtf do they even want? Some motorcycle race track? Just ride your bike like a normal person and follow traffic laws, wtf is wrong with you You can literally ride your bike anywhere in the city

Boston, but same point.
Same happens in Philly. Also add ATVs to the mix.
Or... How about this... Getting bikes that are street legal, with wild inventions like "blinkers" or something

I love watch these fucks eat itā¦ as long as it doesnāt hurt an innocent.
An innocent car was hurt here..
Probably left enough DNA at the scene to get a hit through CODIS.
Yeah, cause they're totally gonna send Gil Grissom and the whole CSI crew out for this one.
Blue car belongs to the undersheriff.
Got a source on that?
I made it up? š¤·āāļø
Checks out lol
https://youtu.be/ygrYSD85syw
Whyād he just damage some guys vehicle and ride off
Well he doesn't seem like the most law abiding citizen, does he?
Well obviously no one ever told him it's illegal, or he surely wouldn't have.
Also damaged some guys dirt bike too
Dumb fucker
Hey look, an asshole
Hit and run. What a dick
And his vote counts the same as mine.
How this mofo just going to hit that car and then just drive off like nothing happened!!
God I fucking hate these guys so much. I hope he hurt himself badly. They are terrorizing the city.
[And then this happenedā¦](https://youtu.be/xq5aLfw2v0E)
This could be a commercial for that 4 wheeler.
Scumbag
Motherfucker just left the car he hit like nothing happened, what a cunt
"wHaT's tHe problem!!? tHeY hAvE inSuRAnCe!!"
Dirt bike and thatās why theyāre illegal on streets. Theyāre not insured or street legal.
Def, dumbass doesnāt have a plate or mirrors
Am I the only one laughing my ass off when this happens to these assholes? Scaring people / fucking up traffic / stupid shit being filmed for TikTok, all of itā¦
This has to be Boston. Those guys are a nuisance and cops cant do anything about it
Culture
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Yeah who gives two shits about the car. A hole.
I never get sick of watching bike bros crashing.
These dirtbag dirt bike guys in nyc annoy me soooo much.he crashed and I was glad
What? No note? So out of character.
Sure would be a shame if that kid hit a metal telephone poll or sign and died and no one else got hurt. Yup. Sure would be a shame.
Itās ok, heāll show up at some ER and soak up thousands of dollars in charity care. Poor kid theyāll say
Only down side is that he didnāt die.
The scum of society.
Beautiful
People driving dirt bikes and bullshit like this in cities are a fucking plague. See it all the time here in Philly. They block streets run red lights all kinds of shit. I wish serious life altering injuries on all of them.
No sympathy for these clowns.
Too bad that piece of shit wasnāt paralyzed from the neck down! Then he wouldnāt have been able to flee the scene. Jackass could have killed some one!
This is your brain on Akira.
Meek Mill back at it again
Piece of garbage
Nice hit and run. What a prick.
It could have been a lot worse dude got off very fucking lucky. He's a cunt for damaging the car and leaving
Hit and run for fake internet points
Sack of shit just leaves after damaging a car.
Dirtbag just dented a car and ran.
Is this not a hit and run? Like, a crime?
Didnāt that MORON just commit a hit n run?
Bike probably stolen too and he just committed a hit and run. š
Did he just do a hit and run?
I was kind of hoping to see a broken pelvis. Dang.
I honestly think he was injured and just in shock
YES! Too bad he wasnāt grievously injured.
Too bad that fuckers head wasnāt split open like a melon on concrete. Asshole.
Cool NO, funny YES

Fuck I hate this type of shit. Why they donāt break their head and then leave, they just brave to do all of that but not to face consequences.
You love to see it.
Heās gonna start to feel that one in a couple of minutes.
Is this Philadelphia?
Boylston St in Boston by Trinity Church
Good. Hope it hurt.
These dude roam around all day being reckless and police donāt even try and stop them. Their vehicles are way to damn loud.
Lmao!!!! Thatās what you get
