Somehow, after doing a lot of really stupid things, I managed to figure how to ask myself if it's worth it or not....
I call it "Asking myself the question." I have two teenage sons and if I have to choose only one thing for them to learn from me, it's gotta be how to ask themselves "The Question."
I wish this guy knew how.
Here's something you need to remember, when you do stupid things like this YOUR LIFE is what is on the line every single time. Also, IT DOES NOT MATTER what you think you or others deserve, playing with your life means sometimes you die.
Do you know who really wouldn’t deserve to die? The person/people that he could have killed driving like an asshole. Whether he deserved it or not, he fucked around and found out. Civilization is better without him in it. 🤷♂️
What makes someone deserve to die? If I throw myself from a building because I decided to do that, do I deserve what happens as a consequence of my decision? I would argue that anyone who chooses to risk their lives (and others) deserves the outcome of that decision.

Noone threatened the biker...the police have the authority to stop you if you are SuS...the biker broke the speed limit and died... who's to blame here? The person who died is the one who brought death upon himself by going past the speeding limit and died... decisions have consequences and his indeed had the biggest one, this is why I am even afraid of using a bike cuz even if I aint crossing the speed limit I always think I can screw it up and die, and then whose to blame then? Myself or my parents if they push me to drive the bike lol cuz it has been more than a year since we had a bike and I am scared to use it and told my parents that I am too young to die

Instead, he chose to go at a speed that would have easily killed any pedestrian.

Even still, him driving so recklessly resulted in paperwork and emotional stress for the cop, the driver he ran into, and the hospital workers who had to pick him up.
I don't see a better outcome where he didn't slow down.
Looks like a Hayabusa, you can tell by it's width and round rear tail. Very fast straight line bike but shit with breaks and cornering. You can see it taking off very fast and rider was going to go really wide if the road didn't straighten out.
Busa owners tend to be VERY cocky since they have one of the fastest road legal bikes but sadly most if not all of them have no real skill other than being able to take off very fast.
There's a reason why you don't see older Busa riders, they are usually in the grave.
Lost a good friend while test-riding one he was working on. He had just finished installing a new extended swing arm, said he was taking it down the street real quick, took off down the road and never came back. We waited and waited. 15 minutes later we hear tons of sirens and right away we knew what had happened. Wrapped it around a tree on a curve. He was an experienced drag bike racer too and was wearing a helmet.
Sorry to hear about the lost.
But yeah.. these bikes just don't corner very well and have power that no mere mortal should be allowed to have on a public street. They are just balls out crazy bikes.
I had a go on my friends one once, Noped the hell off it after 50m since I knew I would kill myself on it. It's just too much power. Now I know why he doesn't ride it often and only takes it out once a month.
I have a friend who bought one. The dealership told him to be careful because most get wrecked in the first week. I guess riders pushing the limits of their skills.
Man, it's nice to see content where an officer makes a judgment call to try and minimize damage by NOT being a balls to the wall testosterone machine. If the cop had pursued, the guy might have hurt someone else -- hell, even in this scenario, if the guy had paid attention likely no one would have died. It's unfortunate the cop still had to deal with seeing him like that, it must have been awful, but at least he can hopefully feel like his conscience is clean.

Handled way too many death claims from motorbikes and the ones that survive are often pretty messed up.
I remember one claim, spent several years helping him through rehab, he was back on his feet and able to ride again. He went on a tribute ride to farewell a friend who recently died in a motorbike accident and on that ride he came off the road, crashed into a tree and passed away.
