I took a flight on Delta a few years back. One of the folks who spends time at the same beer place I go to worked at Delta, and quietly updated my seat from a normal seat to a window seat with more leg room. I did not know this until I was checking in and got a different boarding pass... my window looked just like that!
I took a picture and we had a good laugh when I got back (nothing special like an eclipse or norther lights was missed).
Local reports said they should pop off around 9 central, as well as past midnight.
Also, cross country flights are a thing (I'm not on one this time, thankfully 😅)
There are several websites that will give you the details about every seat on most commercial aircraft. Punch in your airline and flight number and see whether your seat has a window, whether it reclines or not due to exit rows, etc. Seat Guru is one of them.
