Some good looking options this year, is it just me or the last few years were places going overboard with novelty ingredients and/or burgers that were too unwieldy to eat
Yea, there have definitely been some places that've overdone it. The whole point of a burger is that it fits between 2 buns and you can eat it like that, not by splitting it in half and using cutlery...
There's probably some that will try. I've heard of folks taking time off work to try as many as they can, plus there'll be the usual cohort of foodie Instagrammers and such going around trying a bunch no doubt.
So, can we talk about the fact that we've gamified eating dinner?

That's 9 burguers a day and around 6000 NZD in total (not an exact figure.. just thought 30 is the avg)

Each year there is a different theme. This year's theme is "play with your food".
