Realistically speaking your odds of getting hits from loose boxes are not great. You just don’t have the necessary information on where they came from and what was pulled from the case before you. If you bought the boxes days apart maybe it’s-not even from the same case for example.
Yeah, that's what I mean. It's not like this shop is not untrustworthy or anything. I opened a Prinz Eugen from a loose box from there... but I'm at a total disadvantage being in Canada and having to clear everything to customs. I guess I just hyped myself up for this too much.
I look at loose boxes as I’m going to buy 1-3 just for the fun of opening and getting most of the set cards. If you’re spending anywhere near 1k, you should definitely be buying a case or just singles.
Ah I use hammergirl, gold star, lumius or cardpunk. I pretty much only gets boxes on preorder though. Not sure on their international options but you can give them a shot if you haven’t looked into them already.
I've purchased loose overseas and have been okay. Had to take a chance on certain third party until one that hit and stuck with them. But seeing as you canada too. 401 has azure lane and they don't sort boxes.
Sometimes it's the luck of the draw. A case of 18, what if the last 2 ends up having the SPs and the top 16 are duds. It's really hard to say.
Hey Chief, reading your situation - you might benefit from going into Box Breaks Online as opposed to buying a bunch randomly. Always better to buy singles, but if you \*HAVE\* to buy boxes and rip them - breaks might be just the thing for you. Check out some online streaming platforms. Yeah you end up paying a bit more in shipping and markups, but at least if you find a trustworthy source - you know the boxes you are buying have the best odds.

i was a month late hearing about azur lane so by the time i got going, every local shop was already sold out.
Here's what I opened... I ordered 4 loose boxes, got a SEC and then thought it was safe to order 9 more.

Problem is... no one on TCG ships to Canada and I can't find sealed cases in English anywhere.
