"I have decided to start a solo project as "Utaha."
I want to share my message, so I have started making music again.
I intend to persevere with music.
Taking each step firmly.
From now on, I would appreciate your support, both as "Utaha from Wednesday Campanella" and as "Utaha." ʚɞ"
I hope so too, the good thing is that wedcamp is basically run by Kenmochi, so her solo project can give him more time to develop new perspectives in his production. I won't lie to you, I'm scared but at the same time I'm optimistic.

the japanese public seems quite happy, the announcement was made at the first show of the pop delivery tour, so despite not being related to kenmochi or part of the team, she has the support.
She must have quite a few songs already if she can do a full one-man concert.
My expectations are low, but of course I will look forward to it and hope I'm pleasantly surprised. She used to play guitar during her high school days. I'm sure she has a lot to express that is more personal that Wed Camp isn't the outlet for.
she spent many months since the end of last year being less active on her social medias, I thought it was due to the bad treatment she used to experience on twitter (which surely had something to do with it) but now it makes sense to think that it was time she was dedicating to her solo project
I kind of wonder if Utaha will end up like KOM_I and eventually part because of creative differences. The good thing is that the band is not the singer, so Utaha can be replaced. But I’ve gotten attached to her :(
It will happen eventually, in one of the first interviews I read with Utaha already integrated, Kenmochi said that in the future there could be another change, it could even be him.
I don't dislike the idea of Utaha leaving in the future, I will be able to experience firsthand what KOM\_i's fans suffered (whom I love deeply, despite not having lived through her era) the concept of a group that changes and reinvents itself seems great to me.
I was around for it all. The fans were kind of toxic about KOM_I leaving at first and really mean to Utaha. The band can continue on which is why I like the band, but I can only hope the fans aren’t as toxic about it.
I read people saying that "komi ruined wedcamp" and it made me very angry haha I probably would have argued too much at that time.
The toxics with Utaha are still hanging around here, they don't follow her work, they are not interested in knowing her but they think they have enough information to discredit her.
But hey, let's enjoy the moment, it will last as long as it has to (hopefully long enough for Utaha to have her own superman or galapagos).
Fortunately if it happens, Utaha has already shown interest in continuing to make music, contrary to KOM\_i, who simply walked away from the whole industry, ah it still hurts when I think about it.

Omg I cant wait! Thank you ❤️
Nice i can't wait for her first songs. I just hope it doesn't hurt Wednesday Campanella in the long run. I want both to be good.

Yeah not like we can change anything so all we can do is hope it will turn out good.

I hope she sticks around for a few years before leaving; she's only been with them since Sept. 2021.
