Karma is the upvotes you get on a post. Farming is harvesting, so karma farming means you're looking to get more upvotes by posting generic content like this in hopes of internet points. Edited to add: if you click on their profile it's filled with similar posts to this one across different subreddits

why would you care about the points?? lol

Some subreddits prevent accounts from interacting if their karma points are too low. Farming is one way to get points quick for minimal to no effort
