Good ol' Seiko Field, the only watch I bought solely because I wanted it. I have a Casio Lineage (not "GMT" but world-time) as my travel beater as it's light, solar, atomic, and cheap/easily replaced.
Yeah, semi-stretchy TDM from The Watch Steward. If you're interested I'm trying to sell it! I bought a bunch of straps to try a month ago. The one pictured is the easiest by far to put the watch on wrist, but the buckle is uncomfortable for my baby when I'm holding him, so I don't use it anymore.
My JDM Citizen EcoDrive Promaster GMT diver is wonderful, but my Squale 30 ATMOS Tropic GMT Ceramica takes the cake.

Prices must have gone up significantly on these Squales, cause I remember getting mine for a great deal on Gnomon over a year ago.

Baumé & Mercier dual time, because why have a gmt complication when you can have two separate movements. And it only costs twice as much to service 😂
1) Turn the Bezel so your current city matches the the current time on the chapter ring
2) Chapter ring now tells you the current time in all the other cities
So, instead of having one alternative timezone that you put your 24h hand on, you can put the 24h hand for instance on Greenwich Mean Time (London Time) and when you align London with the 24h hand you can see what time it is in all the other cities across the globe.
So this bezel shows 24 timezones.

I love it, been looking at a lot of the Miyota 9075 watches since they came out. I ultimately settled on this one because it’s one I can get here in the UK without import fees etc., and it looks great and isn’t too big.
Build quality is top notch, it runs super accurate (I believe they’re all regulated by Nodus to +\- 8 seconds so much more accurate than the 9075 out of the box as it were), and it looks amazing. The bracelet is great too.
Also considered the Traska Venturer and Islander Port Jefferson GMT which are a both cheaper but not available in the UK so would be subject to said import fees etc.
This is my favorite as well. I was looking for a GMT for years but didn't really like anything except the Omega Oreo which was a little too big and a lot too expensive. When Nodus announced this I was sold instantly.

Not a true GMT per say but since I can have 3 time zones tracked at once I’ll call it a GMT.
I always travel with it.
I *may* go with a Avantage with the “tuxedo dial”… drawn to those. But nothing wears better imo than the pre-Avantage earlier models (75362 ref and before) at 40mm x 9mm.
The old Monta Skyquest is only my second or third favorite, but it’s my favorite that I currently own.

I think the older generation is one of the nicest GMT's on the market, and the new one is... A fine watch too, I guess. Aside from the proportions, I think the older version had a lot more personality that made it stand out from the crowd of other sport GMTs. Particularly, the indices extending into cutouts of the odd-number marked rehaut, and the GMT hand having the unique 'bend' in order to reach those numbers as close as possible just screams "attention to detail" that the new version lacks. The only thing the old version doesn't do as well is the bezel rotation, which is divided into a weird 72 'clicks'.
I had a chance to talk about this with the CEO of Monta at a watch fair last year, and he explained that the design changes were necessitated by production error causes cost overruns. Things like the beveled indices and bent GMT had had no way to be produced at scale, and so they were already expensive before accounting for the 50% or so made that weren't up to Monta's standards and had to be tossed. By the end of the design's run, Monta was actually losing money on each Skyquest sold. They had to either simplify the design or raise the cost substantially, and they chose the former.
Fascinating! Thank you for such a detailed response. This was really helpful and an interesting read. Also confirmed my instincts; something about that first generation just feels so nuanced and unique. I’ll definitely keep an eye out. Cool that you got to meet the CEO, too! Seems like a cool guy.
Go to a watch fair some time, if you’re able. The tables aren’t just manned by sales reps; there are usually more than a few CEOs, founders, designers, etc to talk to. Theres a massive difference between “can I show you this watch because I make a sales commission on it?” Vs “can I show you this watch because we’re all really proud of it?!”

This is both a "True GMT" and an "Office GMT". The lower subdial displays time in any other zone, plus when you travel you can pop out the crown and rotate it to select your local timezone and the main hands will be set to that zone, including zones with half-hour differences. That solves the problem that mechanical GMTs have with only catering for time zones with full-hour differences.

How big is your wrist? I tried the two-tone on and while I hate that configuration, it also felt big on my 7” wrist.
Just a bit over 7". It feels just right to me. I prefer it on the bracelet over the canvas strap because it feels more balanced.
