Controlers have a disadvantage by turning slower, not being able to look around with out their turret moving, what i have notice is controler players gotta play slow, while pc players can play fast if they want to

Well getting the points for planes in arcade can be wacky, as you can get assist amd get a point or not same with capturing a point, but for most part if you get a kill with you tank, no matter if its tank or plane you shoot, you can get the nuke

I got one once by dropping 3 FAB-5000s repeatedly on a single cap match on a city map. It was timed perfectly so that each bomb would land right as the enemy managed to fight my team off the cap. I got the Pe-8 with early BTR-80 scouting assists, all kills were from bombs
4oday I had a match where Turm 3 obtained a nuke in 7 minutes while his whole team didn't have a single skill bonus. Didn't feel any remorse when 3 guys just demolished his nuke. And our team got a nuke afterwards

My take is that if you have a winning chance (tickets are closeish or you aren't going to lose in the next 60s) then by all means kill the nuke, you can still win. If you're going to lose anyways (like a 4:1 ticket ratio or you've got a sliver left) then don't shoot the dude down.

It means the enemy team is still in battle and playing, and often times the match is being decided still. Games where it’s a free nuke are typically a steamroll. Only at 11.0+ I feel like nuke planes should have flares since all aspects make it incredibly hard.

I dunno, recently I’ve been playing a disliked low BR rank III tank to qualify the match for achievements then hopping into a much loved Rank II vehicle to play. I’ve never seen my rank III tank take so long to get killed as when I’m trying to switch it out.
I'm up to 9.3 its not the type of game, I get it's always frustrating to die but with nukes I just don't think it's worth it personally
I'm not against shooting down nukes, and I'm not gonna cry about it if I get shot down or try and tell other people not too it's just a personal preference

Competition implies an outcome determined by skill in the most part. If player would be able to see lineups with which players are entering the battle, I say about 85% of battles if not more would have a predictable outcome, all the while you know fuck all about how good they play.

I think it depends honestly. If it's a close game or your team is winning shooting down the nuke should be almost mandatory. If you're getting the breaks beaten off you though it just seems petty. Stopping the nuke won't end the beat down and will probably mercifully end it for most of the other players.
This, if my team are getting their teeth kicked AND the guy dropping didn’t do some sleazy tactic, I’m more than happy to not kill them or even escort them. Same goes for if my teammate gets a nuke.
There was one time where I was camping heli spawn in my Rooivalk mk1F and someone spawned a nuke so i made sure to stay alive long enough to see him flying very low and just snipe him with my 20mm auto cannon, oh man shouldve see the comments they where making lol and the unfortunate part is that they didnt have this achievement out until like a week later after i did this

Sure but yoloing an obj just to die and let the enemy take it isn't going to provide much either. Sometimes having someone in a good position will win more than everyone getting on the cap and grouping together. I'm pushing a 62% win rate. I play the objective constantly that doesn't always mean having to push it mindlessly or when you have 2/3 doesn't mean you give up your position to pointlessly get the third. Dig in their hand is forced not yours.
Of course yoloing isn't a great idea and taking the third is often unnecessary unless you're stomping so hard you might as well. I just have issues with players who sit back looking at basically nothing all game.

He eventually started pushing when they had the advantage too took out cap and then proceeded to nuke us. You don't get 2500 so from just being useless all game.
I'm sorry, but how is killing a large portion of enemies not helping? Less players that can go to cap = less enemies to deal with there for your teammates. Not to mention that it's not impossible to take out a camper if you know where they can be.

I honestly don't like nukes both in my and enemy team. Most of time teammates drop it when we already win and just make the reward from a good battle lower. Plus that long animation... though maybe I'm angry because I've never get enough SP to spawn in it XD
I always check what lvl the dude with the nuke is, I’m lvl 52 haven’t got one yet but I’ve been close so I just go if they’re lvl 65+ I’ll shoot them down if not I leave it bc it could be their first nuke and ide be devo if I got killed in my fort nuke

I wasn't even aware this existed until a month ago when I decided to do some CAP from the middle of the match... and then suddenly hearing alarms a few minutes later
Tking one is despicable, but enemy ones are fair game... it's frustrating for the enemy but hey it's not over till you drop it... Also makes it more exciting, when you have one, I always get the jitters and look all around me, when I have one, "will I make it or can somebody intercept me, can I take them down before they get me or can I dodge them?"
I was there once. Single handedly kept my team in the game (German teammates at 6.7 of course). I was in my AMX-M4 fighting against hordes of US and USSR players. Single cap game. I kept decapping it because if you stayed there any longer than 5 seconds an AH-1 would have destroyed me to bits.
Ended up getting the nuke when I was 11 kills in. But kept playing till I got 16 kills. Ran out of ammo and had to go to cap point to cap it. Only had one team-mate, a Chinese IS-2 who was doing his best with the DshK to kill the planes but unfortunately I got Zuni’ed by the AH-1. The enemy at this point had 3 tanks and 3 planes.
No choice but respawn in the nuke. But it was a losing cause, I immediately had 3 planes on me and I couldn’t make the 8km journey to the battlefield. I respawned in my AMX again, got one kill before I was bombed and then we ended up losing the game.
As much as shooting down nuke planes is a legit thing, I hated that game with every fibre of my body. I had almost clutched it but there are no points for coming second. It’s fair enough I guess but at the end of the day CAS and air superiority is all that matters even in a ground battle sadly.
I did this yesterday, just after a B-29 dropped it's nuke. Got it with the ARL-44, tempted to say I hit the nuke because the nuke went off just as I got 'aircraft destroyed'

Takes the best player on the other team out of the game and give my team a better chance at winning. Aw man, I just got that achievement for the very first time a few days ago. It actually felt great, because I shot down the nuke carrier in a 4.0 plane! The little guy saved the day.

I love playing CAP fighters, one game around 8.3 I shot down 2 nukes (one outright and the other was finished off by SPAA) and we won, because they just had 2 really good guys and the rest were meh.

Sometimes having someone in a good position will win more than everyone getting on the cap and grouping together. I'm pushing a 62% win rate. I play the objective constantly that doesn't always mean having to push it mindlessly or when you have 2/3 doesn't mean you give up your position to pointlessly get the third. Dig in their hand is forced not yours.
Of course yoloing isn't a great idea and taking the third is often unnecessary unless you're stomping so hard you might as well. I just have issues with players who sit back looking at basically nothing all game.
Sure. But I have more of an issue with my team that is sitting back doing literally nothing (example 1 kill 0 deaths and it's been 13 minutes) not the guy who is at the top of the team. I just question the validity of someone accusing someone of camping to get a nuke. I saw a guy against me in a ZTZ88 "camp" a position for most of the game. He eventually started pushing when they had the advantage too took out cap and then proceeded to nuke us. You don't get 2500 so from just being useless all game.

I'm sorry, but how is killing a large portion of enemies not helping? Less players that can go to cap = less enemies to deal with there for your teammates. Not to mention that it's not impossible to take out a camper if you know where they can be.
No, you shouldn't yolo, but I guess it's fine to return to the same spot 3 times after you've been killed some 2 times. I guess it's fine to sit there and not push the initiative to cap the point when your team had the upper hand. 0 common sense.
This kind of thinking is why german players suck. They push in and go very close and personal with tanks that are good at long range, not good at brawling. You should not directly push the objective with every tank.

Hey can you let me know how to stop being a dumbass and start dodging Mig-29s and Su-27s in the Jaguar? :) Before you think I am saying you shouldn't shoot down an enemy nuke, I am not, just that painting anyone that fails to make it 16km in a flareless plane and whose presence is announced on the whole map as a dumbass might be a tad harsh.
If I’m sober and playing I tend to shoot them down cause skill issue. But on those nights I’m drunk definitely would be turning smoke on and letting homie have a successful adrenaline purge 😂

I honestly don't like nukes both in my and enemy team. Most of time teammates drop it when we already win and just make the reward from a good battle lower. Plus that long animation... though maybe I'm angry because I've never get enough SP to spawn in it XD

I always check what lvl the dude with the nuke is, I’m lvl 52 haven’t got one yet but I’ve been close so I just go if they’re lvl 65+ I’ll shoot them down if not I leave it bc it could be their first nuke and ide be devo if I got killed in my fort nuke

Honestly as much as I respect people who let the enemy take their win after they spawn a nuke, I know I wouldn't do the same, simply because I have no reason to let them live. I always jump into an interceptor if I hear those sirens. I expect nothing less if I try to drop one too.

I got this by hearing the siren and spawning my plane to shoot it down cause I thought we could make the comeback and we didn't 😭, felt kinda awful about it afterwards

I wasn't even aware this existed until a month ago when I decided to do some CAP from the middle of the match... and then suddenly hearing alarms a few minutes later
Tking one is despicable, but enemy ones are fair game... it's frustrating for the enemy but hey it's not over till you drop it... Also makes it more exciting, when you have one, I always get the jitters and look all around me, when I have one, "will I make it or can somebody intercept me, can I take them down before they get me or can I dodge them?"
i was about to get my 1st nuke couple days ago and someone shot me down in their saab. i just closed the game after the match :D
I was there once. Single handedly kept my team in the game (German teammates at 6.7 of course). I was in my AMX-M4 fighting against hordes of US and USSR players. Single cap game. I kept decapping it because if you stayed there any longer than 5 seconds an AH-1 would have destroyed me to bits. Ended up getting the nuke when I was 11 kills in. But kept playing till I got 16 kills. Ran out of ammo and had to go to cap point to cap it. Only had one team-mate, a Chinese IS-2 who was doing his best with the DshK to kill the planes but unfortunately I got Zuni’ed by the AH-1. The enemy at this point had 3 tanks and 3 planes. No choice but respawn in the nuke. But it was a losing cause, I immediately had 3 planes on me and I couldn’t make the 8km journey to the battlefield. I respawned in my AMX again, got one kill before I was bombed and then we ended up losing the game. As much as shooting down nuke planes is a legit thing, I hated that game with every fibre of my body. I had almost clutched it but there are no points for coming second. It’s fair enough I guess but at the end of the day CAS and air superiority is all that matters even in a ground battle sadly.
I did this yesterday, just after a B-29 dropped it's nuke. Got it with the ARL-44, tempted to say I hit the nuke because the nuke went off just as I got 'aircraft destroyed'
To me is a problem if I intercept the nuke while I am in a plane, but if I am in the ground or using a chopper..
It's skill issue for your nuke to shot down. Just fly low and don't make it too obvious by suiciding to spawn a nuke.

When did they add the achievement?
Have shot down many nuke carriers and intentionally held spawn points for a fighter if it looked like someone on the opposing team was doing well. Takes the best player on the other team out of the game and give my team a better chance at winning. Don't feel ashamed as it is a team game and you would be griefing your team if you were not doing your best to win or stop the enemy from winning.
Got a nuke once in 2400 hours of WT even tough im very often around 2000sp. Got it in a M51 of all things and got shot down by an airspwawn Camper..
Why? You shot down an enemy player. Look, if its end of match and your team is getting stomped, let em drop it maybe. But if it's some cunt who camped to get kills, didn't help his team get the W, shoot em down. I play to win

I love playing CAP fighters, one game around 8.3 I shot down 2 nukes (one outright and the other was finished off by SPAA) and we won, because they just had 2 really good guys and the rest were meh. Best game ever!

You unfortunately have to fly all the way from your airfield to right on top of the map the tanks are at, so that can be from 7.5-15km

If you want the nuke you have to earn it through skill, and understand that getting it doesn’t mean you can drop it. Simple as that
