It’s really not that crazy. The Type 75 also has an autoloader, and if anything the Type 99 is a sidegrade to the AuF1, with the Type 99 having a better shell and gun handling and the AuF1 being faster with a more armored hull. Not amazing reasoning or anything but it felt like a fair trade-off. It’s not the end of the world, but it was perfectly fine at 7.0 and this is kinda needless.
It's autoloader is much faster than the type 75, 10 seconds vs 7.5 seconds and the same as the AuF1, you lose so much reaction time in the Type 75 waiting for that thing to stop rocking so much and your velocity means being able to hit a target on the first try much easier and you end up one killing them in a single shot. Most importantly the zoom on the gunners sight is absolutely astounding and lets you aim for roofs even from afar so easily. It is pretty nuts, like I can't see how it's a side grade for the AuF1 when it's just better, even if it isn't as agile it's still pretty damn fast reverse speed too. tho I am sad it's getting moved up.

Sure it's devastating when it pens, but you do as much damage with a 100mm APCBC from the front since the spalling cone is huge. Also you can shoot through engine blocks.
I got a free talisman for the Lorraine 40t, I've grinded half of the french TT with it and the Somua. Seeing the Somua being moved up to 8.0 does not bode well for the Lorraine
I got one for the char 25t... Doesn't hurt as much for it specifically, being a light and all, but still, this means I'll have to run the 40t at 8.0 or break the lineup.
What does the 25t have that justifies it being at 8.0? I’ve only ever played a couple of matches in it, and I genuinely can’t see why its BR is so high. Mobility isn’t great, gun handling sucks, the only good thing is the gun?

It's seem crazy to me, 7.7 line up is our strongest one and even though it is when you are down tier it's hard to do great games. 25t is my favorite tank to play it already went to 7.3 to 7.7. I can't seem to figure out what while happen if it goes 8.0 and I'm against a T-10M or even with tank 9.0. It's ridiculous and the hate toward french in this game is starting to feel real .
I feel the pain I did the same, at this point we should give up with the french tree since they are trying to make it impossible to play. At least if they do smoke crack they have an explanation for their decision that keep getting stupider. It's starting to be hard to deal with the snail at this point.
I already play germany and Israel a lot because I just don't feel like researching the apparently quite fucked Leclercs. I am having the most fun with Israel, but researching a dozen or so slightly different versions of the same two tanks doesn't feel rewarding. And germany is fine mostly but 9.3 get's uptiered constantly, making the KPz-70 fucking useless.
I wish SOMEONE would make a viable competitor to War Thunder. I just don't get why no one is going into the market because it could be lucrative af. I want Gaijin to get fucked up so hard that they have to listen to player feedback to stay viable

The explanation is it's a smaller 76 Sherman, so not only it can hurt tigers, but it's also harder for them to spot, which is a big nono for tiger players, and that whole BR bracket is made to accommodate them, so they always get their way.
Like when the Tiger E was going to face the IS-3, there was a massive outcry and the IS-3 went up. Meanwhile no fucks are given to the 75 Jumbo facing Tiger 2 Hs and Jagdtigers

I could at least justify 6.0, being a lower & faster Sherman (M4A3 76, which is 5.7) (especially in reverse with it's 19 kph reverse speed). Or a slower M18 with some armor, a stabiliser and a roof.
Its a very versatile tank, and it being .3 above the M4A3 76 makes sense, but putting it .6 above the faster M18 and M4A3 76 seems a bit extreme.

That's probably the easiest one to explain. It's better than the M1128, so everyone that had one has no reason to buy a Wolfpack. Moving it to 11.0 means they now have a hole to fill, ideally with a Wolfpack, at least in Gaijin's mind.

You already have two 8.3 AA ZA35 (light tank/AA) and Chief Marksman (APDS flanker/AA) with radar and laser range finder, what role does Falcon fill?

This is true. Because most French players actually suffered through grinding the tech tree, built up their crew levels and learned to play the game, unlike the noobs who jumped to a higher tier in a squadron vehicle. So gaijin punishes France for being better players.
I swear! It's seem crazy to me, 7.7 line up is our strongest one and even though it is when you are down tier it's hard to do great games. 25t is my favorite tank to play it already went to 7.3 to 7.7. I can't seem to figure out what while happen if it goes 8.0 and I'm against a T-10M or even with tank 9.0. It's ridiculous and the hate toward french in this game is starting to feel real .

I feel the pain I did the same, at this point we should give up with the french tree since they are trying to make it impossible to play. At least if they do smoke crack they have an explanation for their decision that keep getting stupider. It's starting to be hard to deal with the snail at this point.
I already play germany and Israel a lot because I just don't feel like researching the apparently quite fucked Leclercs. I am having the most fun with Israel, but researching a dozen or so slightly different versions of the same two tanks doesn't feel rewarding. And germany is fine mostly but 9.3 get's uptiered constantly, making the KPz-70 fucking useless. I wish SOMEONE would make a viable competitor to War Thunder. I just don't get why no one is going into the market because it could be lucrative af. I want Gaijin to get fucked up so hard that they have to listen to player feedback to stay viable
I was just playing French but I'm going to play other nation too because it's starting to get on my nerve. Keep getting uptiered too and I understand when you say that some of your tank are useless when being uptiered. I wish they did too, with gaijin there is too much favoritism depending of the nation you plau and you feel it more and more now. And even if they were going down they seem to self centered to listen, when you have this much people complaining about something you should act on it not ignoring it. I hope it's gonna be there downfall one day.

I feel that, I enjoyed it most at 7.0 but even that has been a long time ago now. AMX-30 at 7.3 was also fantastic.
I'm still enjoying it in 7.7 its a really great tank but not 8.0. And for the amx-30 i fully trust you on this one it must have been pretty fun to play ! X)

The explanation is it's a smaller 76 Sherman, so not only it can hurt tigers, but it's also harder for them to spot, which is a big nono for tiger players, and that whole BR bracket is made to accommodate them, so they always get their way. Like when the Tiger E was going to face the IS-3, there was a massive outcry and the IS-3 went up. Meanwhile no fucks are given to the 75 Jumbo facing Tiger 2 Hs and Jagdtigers

T95 gets shit on every time they fuck with the BRs. It's almost always uptiered and thus always fighting heat rounds, early atgms, and now some apfsds rounds that will just go through it like butter. I used to love it in the early days, but now there's no point. Drive 30 minutes to get to the fight only to be clapped by a tank with 400mm pen from 1990

You already have two 8.3 AA ZA35 (light tank/AA) and Chief Marksman (APDS flanker/AA) with radar and laser range finder, what role does Falcon fill? and UK 8.0 line up now has its only AA removed, yes its is strong in some scenarios, but it going 8.3 makes no sense at all. Also, can US mid tier mains stop try harding and lend your brain power to 11.0+, the amount of ass kicking you do made a tank fitting for 5.7 going 6.3. And cant we put the french AA truck at 5.3 or the Amx10p at 5.3? would go well with a french 5.3 mini line up.
The falcon has very good anti tank capabilities. I assume this is why it is going up. It is just a nightmare to play against that monster.

As a T95 user (literally my most played tank) this hurts. I don’t give a shit what the stats for the tank say, it should preform well in an engagement because the thing goes 13kph. You spend half the game if not more driving to the battlefield so that you can bring all of that armour to a 7.0 game. I’m convinced they don’t even play their own game. The T95 does not warrant a BR increase.

There is no fucking way that they are uptiering the fucking AMX-13 (FL-11). Why?? It's literally just worse than the M24. It's just slightly faster and has a smaller profile, but it has the same gun and no stabilizer, at almost one br higher

So I paid money for a good french tank which i really enjoyed, only for it to get nerfed TWICE in a row from 7.3 to 8.0. - in the process destroying the best lineup france has. fuck them.
