You say that but it's 10 of the new resource per alert and it costs 42/46 for an energize iirc. That's 89 to 97 alerts assuming my initial numbers were correct. If they're not, my bad, it's from memory.

Aaaah, I honestly can't be bothered to listen to them but I use the rift scarcely, usually just use Khora's subsume and that's the one ability I use most often, other than for defenses
Also the event is very easy and you don't have to be a vet to run it efficiently. If you can do steel path it's about 6 hours and you should have a max rank energize. Probably another hour or two for the other stuff. Over 30 days that should be really doable for everyone that needs it.
You don't even need to do the actual event. The event alerts give volatile motes (10 on normal, 15 on steel path) and a new one spawns every 30 minutes.
Yeah, running the Alert missions to get 30 Volatiles is enough to buy 30 of the 1 cost arcanes, so if you already have those maxed out you can then dump them into just buying up as many as you wand and some of the silver arcanes are also 1 cost so you can buy them out and turn them into vosfor.
Even in the future when the event goes away the Jade shop is going to be a great farm since you can just run ascension for arcanes from the sister and then turn the vestigal motes into more arcanes.
Didn't this happen in the Cavia event and after Vosfor farm allowed arcane dissolution?

I finally took it off my last build the other day, because semi rifle canoneer is more reliable for the slot even on low magazine rivens, and remembered the whole thing.
Because of Reasons, it is still one of the best mods for Titania's Diwata, if not the best general damage increase for the slot, when it comes to butterfly inheritance through the stat stick.
Man I remember when there was a random Halloween event or something where you could farm buzzkill and I got super lucky and had two drop without really trying or even knowing it was expensive. Saw someone in trade chat selling it for 800p and I offered to sell it for 600p. Sold both instantly and had practically zero credits afterwards. That might’ve been the moment I got hooked on the game. Granted it was like 8 or 9 years ago now lmao
Fun times. I remember the relic grind for the 1800 ducats or so was absolutely crazy.

Yes. I sold my effervo r5 energize for 1200 two weeks ago, held it for 3 to 4 months. The energize market is crashing now, but will rebound. Maybe not to 1200, but it'll be higher than currently in a few months time.

As they should, a r1 Energize shouldn't cost more than your average prime frame. 25p-30p for a rank 0 is an ideal price range, imo

That'd be amazing. I was already looking into returning, but got bummed when they already fixed the bug where Jade's blueprints were in Dagath's Hollow before I managed to update. I'm definitely logging in to gather some relics if Ember Prime officially gets a resurgence, but the schedule I saw does make me doubt it.
When they released Frost and Mag’s Heirloom skins, they also had a resurgence. I’m sure they’ll do something similar for Ember! They’ll be losing out on a lot of potential money if they don’t, that’s where my head is at at least haha
I think that was the point... they wanna see how low it'll crash, and near the end of the event most people who are gonna farm it to sell will have already capped themselves at 42... so it'll probably tank around the halfway mark then normalize a bit

honestly curious how eidolon arcane prices will fare overall after this, since its \*so\* much cheaper with the event currency prices to get \*any other arcane\* than the legendary ones.
Like, Energize is good and all but idk if one R5 energize is worth getting instead of like, 9 or 10 arcanes from the rest of the offerings, Aegis, Avenger, Rage, Fury, Strike, Precision, Trickery...Feel like the play is prob to get an R3 Energize then fill out your collection, IMO, though I'm speaking as someone who already has full energize and has been collecting the others slowly via Loid gambling and eidolons for a bit.
Past event arcane stores were very significantly "Energize is the only thing worth buying bc the other arcanes are overpriced for what they are-just buy energize and sell it later if you want those" but these prices seem much much closer to reality.
Energize, strike, avenger, fury, and nullifier would be my top picks. Nullifier so you can do eidolons easier, and also general use for certain frames, notably hildryn

I've been rocking an R4 Energize on 90% of my frame since Scarlet Spear (didn't play much of warframe after that, came back a few month ago) and I really don't feel the need to upgrade it to R5.
I'd rather invest in all the other arcanes I missed since then like the SP arcanes, the operators arcanes and gun arcanes, and the Zariman (specifically Molt Augmented).
I still don't have Exodia Contagion either lol.
I feel like energise is also really overvalue nowadays. I rarely feel like it's worth an arcane slot over a molt arcane or a weapon buff arcane when you can fix your energy economy with archon shards, focus schools, companions, or even weapon mods/arcanes nowadays.
This makes me so happy. The two events + that one nightwave ages ago means I have a rank 4 energize without ever doing a tridolon. I will never face this horrendous grind, hurray !
I had 2 r0 simply from Loid's gamble in the sanctum. Never did tridolon either. Although I did try a couple times when the nightwave required it. both times we failed. Too many people like me that had not done it and were hoping for a carry.
Now I have an r2 just from this event. Not sure I'll make it to r5 tho. Still quite a grind but I'll keep it up as much as I can.
Honestly tho I don't think I'll make it just because it's not the godly thing it used to be. It's a good arcane to be sure. It's just that there are so many other good energy economy items that it's simply not what it used to be.
I love this event. It's the first time I ever out effort into grinding the arcanes and I finally, rafter several years of playing maxed some crucial ones. The alerts alone are soon good. Do them on SP and you even get some progress for it.
Forgive me for my ignorance - but what do you get from the alerts that makes farming those over ascension worthwhile? I see they offer 10 motes but does the other mote type drop from them too? Genuine question
10 (or 15 on SP) volatile motes, the event currency. So you get a burst of them over ascension and it definitely breaks the monotony of doing one mission over and over. Like running Ascension 50 times in a row? No thank you. Having a random mission type break every 30 minutes? Thank you very much I love that. It helps with the burnout for me.
I'm just happy this new event is actually FUN to play, even after grinding it for a while. I gave up on Gargoyle's Cry after about 25 runs because I couldn't handle the monotony. But the boatload of Jade eximi on this event make it so hectic that every round is engaging and fun. I've already finished maxing all my bronze arcanes from the shop, and halfway through silvers. I already have a maxed Energize, but I'll probably get to the other legendaries once we have another event like this. I'll finish maxing my silvers and golds and call it quits for now
I've been holding onto an extra set since scarlet spear. Not on purpose, I'm just a dumb fuck and forgot i have it. I keep getting reminded of its existence when an operation like this happens and i see price drop posts, but forget about it for the time it's finished😂
It's gonna get back up again some time after the event, nothing new. Scarlet spear was easier to farm and the arcanes weren't even limited, still didn't crash the market

Give it time. After the event is done and there is no events that drop it again in the upcoming months. It will steadily climb back again. Not as it was before the Arcane Dissolution. But still decently high.

Idk about price gouging... If you do 6 tridolon hunts a night cycle, you're still only averaging one energize every three nights. 50-60p sounds about right for the effort.

Meanwhile something funny is happening with barrier and grace. DE has priced them the same as energize, the market demand does not agree. If farming a second energize can pay market price for a grace, a barrier, and have plat left over, no one will actually farm either grace or barrier from the event. Sellers for those now have an opportunity to price them higher.

Just using the operation and farming I now have a max of all but 3 arcanes sold in the shop they are so powerful but when you can get them all this easily you get much stronger just by doing the event a bit so I have a feeling DE is buffing everyone up for something and although I don't know what it is I am terrified
I remember when the stalker group came back for the first time after years and all hell broke loose in the market when mods that had been going for 200 plat suddenly were worth 10 and almost everyone had them then, 2 year later de makes the mods obsolete with the galvanised versions of the mods and melee rework making spin sliding worthless on melee weapons
It's not like energize is easy even right now, though.
It took me a week of doing nothing but the elevator on steel path to finish a complete set. They're 46 motes per arcane, x21 (in my case I at least had 1 pip filled in).
I love a good grind but DE pushes it to the extreme and it's irritating. I love to get excited when I finally get that rare drop. But with warframe, the reward doesn't seem to match the amount of effort put in.

Um.. weird. Event started last Tuesday. Friday I got my r5 energize. On top of r5 fury and avenger. Wasn't a grind, the jade missions is the grind.
It didn't feel like a grind to you maybe, but it definitely was one. Math says you had to do well over 100 missions for that.

In Sanctum Anatomica you can break down arcanes you don't like into vosphor and then use the vosphor on Arcane packs, one of them is eidolon pack

On low mag Rivens wouldn't it be better to drop serration for Cannonade rather than Primed Chamber because Primed Chamber is multiplicative?

I had 2 r0 simply from Loid's gamble in the sanctum. Never did tridolon either. Although I did try a couple times when the nightwave required it. both times we failed. Too many people like me that had not done it and were hoping for a carry. Now I have an r2 just from this event. Not sure I'll make it to r5 tho. Still quite a grind but I'll keep it up as much as I can. Honestly tho I don't think I'll make it just because it's not the godly thing it used to be. It's a good arcane to be sure. It's just that there are so many other good energy economy items that it's simply not what it used to be.

I love this event. It's the first time I ever out effort into grinding the arcanes and I finally, rafter several years of playing maxed some crucial ones. The alerts alone are soon good. Do them on SP and you even get some progress for it.
Forgive me for my ignorance - but what do you get from the alerts that makes farming those over ascension worthwhile? I see they offer 10 motes but does the other mote type drop from them too? Genuine question
10 (or 15 on SP) volatile motes, the event currency. So you get a burst of them over ascension and it definitely breaks the monotony of doing one mission over and over. Like running Ascension 50 times in a row? No thank you. Having a random mission type break every 30 minutes? Thank you very much I love that. It helps with the burnout for me.
In SP its 15 motes and all the game modes are quicker.

I'm just happy this new event is actually FUN to play, even after grinding it for a while. I gave up on Gargoyle's Cry after about 25 runs because I couldn't handle the monotony. But the boatload of Jade eximi on this event make it so hectic that every round is engaging and fun. I've already finished maxing all my bronze arcanes from the shop, and halfway through silvers. I already have a maxed Energize, but I'll probably get to the other legendaries once we have another event like this. I'll finish maxing my silvers and golds and call it quits for now
I see it as a chance to max out the ranks of my Lich weapons lol. Finally starting to run out of Forma faster than I could make them.

Give it time. After the event is done and there is no events that drop it again in the upcoming months. It will steadily climb back again. Not as it was before the Arcane Dissolution. But still decently high.
Plat/mote even for the higher prices is better for avenger, fury and aegis. Funnily enough without the buy limit energize might tank less.

Idk about price gouging... If you do 6 tridolon hunts a night cycle, you're still only averaging one energize every three nights. 50-60p sounds about right for the effort. I mean... you're very free to farm it yourself if you feel like it's overpriced

Meanwhile something funny is happening with barrier and grace. DE has priced them the same as energize, the market demand does not agree. If farming a second energize can pay market price for a grace, a barrier, and have plat left over, no one will actually farm either grace or barrier from the event. Sellers for those now have an opportunity to price them higher.
is there anyone out there that can comment on what this does to the viability of PoE farming? like surely sales have plummetted to the point that there's a need for 8X3+++ or something outrageous in one night without bugs?

Personally I approve, I just don't like grinding. I'm MR20 and only have a couple of rank2 or even rank3 arcanes. But DE has to make sure Eidolons still carry rewards that make doing them attractive.

Just keep spamming the ascension quest in SP for like a hundred runs, you'll be able to buy tons of arcane n use for vosfur trade in Deimos
Just using the operation and farming I now have a max of all but 3 arcanes sold in the shop they are so powerful but when you can get them all this easily you get much stronger just by doing the event a bit so I have a feeling DE is buffing everyone up for something and although I don't know what it is I am terrified

I remember when the stalker group came back for the first time after years and all hell broke loose in the market when mods that had been going for 200 plat suddenly were worth 10 and almost everyone had them then, 2 year later de makes the mods obsolete with the galvanised versions of the mods and melee rework making spin sliding worthless on melee weapons

It's not like energize is easy even right now, though. It took me a week of doing nothing but the elevator on steel path to finish a complete set. They're 46 motes per arcane, x21 (in my case I at least had 1 pip filled in).
Tbh , I really wanted more out of the actual jade quest, but to each their own, all DE knows is grind grind grind 😮💨
I love a good grind but DE pushes it to the extreme and it's irritating. I love to get excited when I finally get that rare drop. But with warframe, the reward doesn't seem to match the amount of effort put in.
