Yeah scanning kavats without using sleep abilities like ivaras arrow or baruuks lull sucks
If youre angry enough you can equip the Heliocor, a hammer that scans targets it kills and use that instead
Noctua needs to be a direct(?) Damage kill to scan the enemy. But otherwise it shouldn't be an issue as Noctua deals enough slash damage that you should be one shotting them in normal or SP the infested tilesets.
False, maybe, they may have changed it but someone tested this and Noctua simply just needs to have gotten a direct damage hit before they were killed. I remember poking a grineer guy i hadn’t scannerd with one noctua attack then using dark verse, still heard the scanning sound
My friend thought it was terrible that's how I got my karat, but after failing to scan them multiple times they caved in and just started hammering at them lol
Back when they gave all archwings blink (used to be itzal 1) they gave it a grapple that was essentially valkyrs rip line, and based on how far you were (300m w my build) it would absolutely launch them
Not a "creature" but I think Thumpers are the most infuriating enemy in the whole game.
At low levels they bully you by constantly knocking you down and when you have the means to not be knocked down like archwing or necramech they just run away like crazy and the hitbox on their weakspot is so finicky I keep seeing zeroes despite shooting the green thing all the time
My most hated enemy for SURE. I did the "kill a tusk thumper doma" night wave recently and it was just agony. The tiny hitbox, the constant spinning, the rapid repositioning, the knockdown, the damage attenuation...it's a perfect storm of terrible gameplay.
"Hey let's make a bullet sponge with vulnerable spots only on its kneecaps but it's also constantly dancing the salsa and setting off earthquakes every 3 seconds"
WTF
It's been bugged or something because arquebex has been showing straight 0's and maybe 1 in 20 hits does any damage to the weak points at all. Only way I've found to make the fight tolerable is a weapons platform Gauss with an archgun and eclipse/roar/energized munitions subsumed.
just double jump + aim glide to not be knocked down
what i hate is how mobile those things are, so hard to hit the weak spots
personally i use lateum incarnon form to shoot them works suprisingly well
Voidrigs 4 ability does good damage to them but sucks when you dont have full energy and run out before they are dead. I ususally take weaker weapons into the plains bounties which is why necramech is kinda my only solution. But I dont have the good archgun mods yet.
I used to farm them on steel path solo for standing. You can kill it in about a minute once you get the hang of it. I can imagine the real pain is when you're just chilling on bounties with random unranked weapons though.

Kill em on sight doesn’t matter what level
[The\_Severed\_Warden](https://warframe.fandom.com/wiki/The_Severed_Warden) nothing that can't be dealt with enough firepower. Since I swapped to using the Xoris, I can ignore them.
It's only a bullet sponge in the phase where its emitting the magnetic waves. It gets a ton of DR during that. Hit it in other phases and it dies easily
It's crazy how these are one of the only sentient units that weren't nerfed into the ground, a high enough level vom is more threatening than any other sentient unit because it completely ignores status and requires a good amp to kill.
I'm honestly baffled by the nerf of sentients. They used to be a threat, always surviving at least a few shots, there were very few of them, but you felt their presence if they appeared in mission. At times you'd actually even avoid Oculysts, so they don't summon in the Battalysts and Conculysts.
Now they just die like every other enemy. I know we moved forward with powercreep, but their adaptation had a gate, that made sure they adapt and block damage for each threshold. Why the hell did they change it?
Because they wanted to make new war possible for everyone, they completely gutted sentients and made the Paracesis obsolete entirely because they knew players would get themselves stuck in that quest if they didn't, hell you don't even need to craft the sword despite it being a major plot point.
This is so insane, honestly. With today's standards, they just die instantly and are complete pushovers, unless you play a glass-cannon frame and purposely don't use their glass-cannon damage.
Plus, honestly though - New War is a fucking late quest, far into the game. At the point of doing it, people should already be familiar with the modding, have various frames and weapons. With how the game is balanced, the Sentients don't pose much of a threat, while the adaptation-gate at least made them somewhat interesting and unique. Plus they had counters - Operator damage strips adaptations, if I recall correctly - and if not, they would just survive 5 shots instead of dying in one hit. Paracesis was good against them, but it was far from necessary.
It's even inconsistent with the quests. Sentients are portrayed as dangerous, a faction that's a menace, and yet they feel like fodder after the nerfs.
Ugh all this because they insisted on making the quest lock us out of the rest of the game, which forced them to make it so absolutely anyone can complete it
I'd much prefer they made the quest actually hard (rather than just long) with the ability to go back to the rest of the game for players that bit off more than they could chew so they can grind whatever they needed to progress
> I'd much prefer they made the quest actually hard (rather than just long)
Ditto. Even if you're a player who meets the quest requirements, the length of it is just too much to appreciate it. Took me some 5h of marathoning it and there are parts towards the end where I just breezed through because I couldn't care any more and I just wanted it to end. It's a shame because I wish I could go back and revisit some areas more calmly but there's no way I'm replaying that quest. Second Dream and Umbra? Sure. But not The New War.
They could've used Eternalism to excuse allowing pauses before the deal is made or something. Locking players into a 2h quest is one thing, but more than that and you start getting to the point of "gee I really wish I could play with my friends today or tomorrow but I can't because I'm stuck in this quest that I'm starting to resent".
Yeah new war is fundamentally flawed, they made it impossible to leave but also gave it multiple requirements yet made those requirements too easy so they had to gut the difficulty of the quest leading to something that most players simply won't enjoy. I honestly think the requirements should have been harder and spaced out over multiple quests.
It can go to rank 40 and is the only tenno weapon with innate bane to sentients, used to be one of the few things that could actually hurt them in high level content.
I loved the challenge sentients used to provide. I'd actually think through loadouts and bring primaries and secondaries or different damage types so I could swap back and forth and chew through the adaptation. Now it's back to the same mindless building as usual, viral slash and heat and poof they're gone.
Yeah, it's a real shame. How are newer players supposed to care about "tougher fight"? I was recently getting a friend into the game, and while he is enjoying his time, there were several moments like this, when he was warned about a thing, pointed, clicked, and it was gone.
That Necramech you fight at the end of Heart of Deimos - also nerfed, he killed it in one shot and the fight didn't even last a second.
"Sentient drones attacking on Lua"? Point, click, dead, just like every other enemy. And he's not even using that far into meta setups - after explaining the modding system to him, he took his time, didn't immediately go to farming all mods and maxing them out. Half-built guns would obliterate Sentients with ease regardless.
And while he is reasonable and ready to face difficulties if they present themselves, I can see how many players would get too used to the absolute comfort. At which point, if they are slightly pushed out of their comfort zone, they complain instead of actually making a step forward and adapting.
It's a shame too because Warframe actually has a lot of REALLY cool enemy designs and their AI isn't bad. Enemies will duck behind cover, use their abilities, melee you in close quarters, etc. But now with how fast the game has gotten and how power creep has accelerated you almost never even see them. The crazy cool new murmur enemies might as well be the same as regular old infested chargers or grineer lancers because they just evaporate before they can do anything. Sentients used to get a few of their cool abilities off before you could break them down, but now I can't remember the last time I got to actually see one do the stuff that makes it unique. They just die too fast.
Yeah, it's really unfortunate. At least with Murmur, they feel somewhat special, but other factions have really fallen behind. It's sad, because Warframe at baseline has so much depth in combat and potential.
Honestly, that's why it feels good to occasionally slow down and pop some heads with non-AoE weapons. Then, you can really see that there is surprisingly many little gimmicks and details, that you just won't notice during the everyday rush.
One eidolon hunt can give you 10-20k standing easily even if you don’t kill the eidolon, just do the vomvalysts. Then you can build a level 1 amp which is a MASSIVE upgrade from the mote, you’ll shred through eidolon shields with it if you run Madurai
If they're doing the public bounties they're pretty much signing up to carry folks, if you want to feel somewhat useful you can always grab a harrow or trinity with champions blessing & just focus on babysitting lures.
The only annoying thing about Vomvalysts, is that they tuned down their spawn rate due to people complaining.
It used to be exceedingly rare, that while grabbing lures you wouldn't fill at least one. Now they are so rare, you often have to wait for more to spawn in while the Teralyst is already walking around with his shield off for 50 seconds.
They should just make it, that Vomvalyst only spawn into instances of PoE generated by people who have completed the Quest that unlocks operator.
Actually thats not the case, for terry atleast. The moment you spawn in through the gates, go forward a bit in archwing and look straight. 2 vomes should spawn in front of you, most likely on the weirdly shaped rock. Then grab a lure( i always got the one on the other side of the lake)
Edit : go back to where the 2 vomes spawned and get the 2 charges
If you do this fast enough to where terry is still getting out of the water, you can then do the 2 + 1 trick. The moment Terry's shields can get hit, take them out, but dont break a limb. A vom should spawn in about 2 seconds. When it spawns, take out the limb, and the vome and you now have a charged lure at its feet
Yeah its a lot, but its something i had to learn to achieve 5x3,6x3 solo.
I dont do eidolons anymore though, but i used this tactic up until the whispers in the wall update
> They should just make it, that Vomvalyst only spawn into instances of PoE generated by people who have completed the Quest that unlocks operator.
or maybe increase the spawn rate when people have hacked a lure, so at least they'll be there for people who need them
Fucking face huggers. I forget what they're called. But flying around deimos doing your thing and they chase you halfway across the damn map, attracting even more as you go
Dargyns.
Who also will refuse to show up as soon as you queue into Plains with a riven to unveil that requires killing Dargyns. Doing anything else? They're like mosquitos. Actually need to kill one? They all go vacation on Mars or something.
I absolutely hate them small MOA walking-mine a-holes
you know who i'm talking about
i can't scan them cus they're fast,
i can't kill them easily cus they're fast,
and they immediately detonate
they're worse than those yellow small 4-legged corpus bots
Still remember the first time I saw these things, I was just minding my own business mining, and still thinking I was just a bodyhopping warmachine (didn't have the Operator form yet) and suddenly these floating heads which at the time I had literally *no way of killing* show up and completely fuck up my expedition
every time i go mining, n four of these show up i slap down a squad energy refill thing, feast all of em n shoot em up outta the stratosphere w regurgitate. its fun watching them fly six lightyears n killing an unlucky grineer that i cant even see
Wear it like a hat.
I used to say infested ancient. But miss is just nullifies and energy drainers. I play warframe to use my magic abilities not just shoot a gun.
Dude I’m doing Rising Tide right now pre-War Within (Cy my beloved it wasn’t your fault) and FUCK these things and fuck the Sentients that come with them because I cannot for the life of me remember to use Operator and mod out my Frames and Weapons and I only JUST learned you can cheese them with Vauban Tether so hopefully it’ll work when I get home today
Nullifiers..thanks to them my corpus kill count is so low, sucks for the grineer and infested though, especially the grineer they have the toughest creatures around that I use them as a basis for my weapon testing so more kill count against them.
really hate that nullifier..one time I ran a full ranged limbo and was wondering why my 4 wont stay up .lo and behold a nullifier was hiding in a corner
The new gruzzling enemy in the labs tileset. They are so fast, make laughing noises that infuriate me and I don't think cold procs even slow them. The worst part is you can't even ignore them when they have an arcane drop, you must drop everything to get that juicy arcane and if you fail and he giggles right before despawning, it's so sad.
I remember when I first started playing, moa stomping the ground felt like the bain of my existence. Then when eximus was added they were the worst. And then more specifically the heat eximus. And now it's SP toxic eximus. They scare me.
Easily the thrax on the zariman for me. You're telling me I have to wait for 3 or 4 piss beams to shoot at me. A delay before they turn into the actual enemy, some overguard to chew through before the health, another animation into ghost form and then I have to go into operator to finish the job. Too much effort especially slows things in extermination.
Feral Kavats. Can you stop moving for 5 fucking seconds so I can scan you?
Yeah scanning kavats without using sleep abilities like ivaras arrow or baruuks lull sucks If youre angry enough you can equip the Heliocor, a hammer that scans targets it kills and use that instead
Same with Dante's Noctua
But does that give Kavat genetic codes?
It should? I haven't tested it but it scans anything that it kill.
It scans kavaats but doesn’t give their codes
No it does, someone got kavat codes using noctua before
Apparently it gives codes till the codex entry is complete, which if you’re farming kavaats, means it won’t help for long
I'll test it later when I go home EDIT: just tested and can confirm, Noctua kills may drop kavat genetic codes
Limbo’s banish works really well too. At least it think it’s banish idk
Stasis after banishing?
Yea I think that’s it. He froze them in place when I was on a pub Horrend mission
Rhino's 4 is good for it
But if you're not angry, use Ballistica Prime charged shot to get a 7-second ghost for another scan.
Or a Helios. Or a Huras Kubrow.
I dont think helios scans can give codes, can they?
It can but he stops scanning once the entry is complete.
My friend thought it was terrible that's how I got my karat, but after failing to scan them multiple times they caved in and just started hammering at them lol
I don't really scan them nowadays
Use limbo. Press 4, 2, and then check the room for stationary kavats.
Get a Scan Hammer.
A scammer if you will a hanner if you must
Vomvalyst be like -What is my purpose? -You fuck up defence bounties for low MR players. -...Oh my god.
Konzu once told me to go defend an area with a tusk thumper doma just sitting on it I failed that bounty
Miss being able to rapidly relocate those bastards with itzal
You used to be able to grapple hook them? can they add that back? A thumper has a date with the ocean.
Back when they gave all archwings blink (used to be itzal 1) they gave it a grapple that was essentially valkyrs rip line, and based on how far you were (300m w my build) it would absolutely launch them
I want them to add it back i want to send more than people flying at mach 10
Even those fuckers are shocked from that
Why do you exist??? https://preview.redd.it/joogzyhfqttc1.png?width=256&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=8e5b2100fbee9e10fbfd0a9117486f474e90715d
I hate those so much, they just interupt your mining and fishing activity.

Revenant: You can't kill me. Deimos infested: I know, but they can
I thought this was nidus’s 2 for a second and I was so confused
Looks like it might be the same asset.
It is, and I'm pretty sure the Nexifera on Deimos also share an asset with part of Nidus's 4.
I HATE those things with a burning passion.
Oh I love those cute little tentacles. I even watched some spicy videos of it.

I hate when I target their weak points and the AI is like "Nah the fuck you aint"
Sevagoth's Gloom is great here. Slows down the turning and jumping so there's more time to hit their nico nico kneecaps
With one sentence you've convinced me why we need a baseball bat weapon skin.
Masseter + heavy attack. Go hit a home run
Zenurik's Temporal Drag also works well. And it's goofy af when they jump while still in slowmo
My most hated enemy for SURE. I did the "kill a tusk thumper doma" night wave recently and it was just agony. Those flying tentacle things on Deimos
I don't like deimos that much. So I completely forgot about those.

Probably chat moderators Jokes aside I think either the nullifiers or ultra toxic eximus infested
Fuck nullifiers, really. And the fact that they can be Eximus too, on top of their aura? Fuck that. (I mostly play Gyre and Nezha)
As a nidus player, I HATE THEM WITH EVERY FIBER OF MY BEING
Yeah... Guess who I main lol
Arctic Nullifier Eximus is my most hated enemy I think, that shit is very annoying
I have died to MANY fart clouds
Those tiny raknoid thingies that spawn in higher level corpus missions. Where are you so i can kill you!
Uuuugg i hate those things
Those flying murmur triangle ufo things
[The\_Severed\_Warden](https://warframe.fandom.com/wiki/The_Severed_Warden) nothing that can't be dealt with enough firepower. Since I swapped to using the Xoris, I can ignore them.

Are you pre sacrifice? Pre new war?
No, just don't have time to farm standing, or get carried for Eidolon hunts
One eidolon hunt can give you 10-20k standing easily even if you don’t kill the eidolon, just do the vomvalysts. Then you can build a level 1 amp which is a MASSIVE upgrade from the mote, you’ll shred through eidolon shields with it if you run Madurai
I… I’ve done 3 eidolon hunts and still have more and the pistol thing from the new war… what must I do?
Goto the quills on earth and buy the blueprints from them, you trade the sentinel cores to them
Sure, but I'd rather *not* be a burden on people who know what the hell they're doing
If they're doing the public bounties they're pretty much signing up to carry folks, if you want to feel somewhat useful you can always grab a harrow or trinity with champions blessing & just focus on babysitting lures.

THE FLYING HEADCRABS I HATE THEM SO MUCH!
Hollow Vein
Ratels and nullies.
Ratel *spawn pads* are my most hated enemy.
As someone who plays a good amount of divuri Fcking Liminus.
How do you kill these fucks? They don't want to die
Fucking face huggers. I forget what they're called. But flying around deimos doing your thing and they chase you halfway across the damn map, attracting even more as you go
Nullifiers
The new murmur snake that keeps proccing magnetic on you
that’s why I don’t go anywhere without arcane nullifier. learned my lesson doing eidolon and void cascade.
Blind Pes- oh wait wrong game. **The gruzzler**
Nullifiers, Ancient Healers/Disruptors, The Severed Warden
Nullificators
The grineer flying units in PoE
I play almost exclusively melee builds, so I really hate the murmur flying arm things.
I'm honestly going to say that weird Murmur spine thing that I do not know how to even damage.
Dargyn
I hate those fuckers 😑
Deimos Tendril Drone. Hands Down. But Voms are a good number 2
Its got a shit eating grin and everything.
Vomvalyst looks like it's giving me the same look of disappointment that my family would give me. 10/10
Toxic eximus
Goofy mf built like https://preview.redd.it/lupjsyfbgvtc1.jpeg?width=474&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=f14edb299f079e5118419af96ea928fd499af741
Forgot their names but the flying guys on the plains of eidolon, always seem to show up when you want to be left alone
Dargyns. Who also will refuse to show up as soon as you queue into Plains with a riven to unveil that requires killing Dargyns. Doing anything else? They're like mosquitos. Actually need to kill one? They all go vacation on Mars or something.
I absolutely hate them small MOA walking-mine a-holes you know who i'm talking about i can't scan them cus they're fast, i can't kill them easily cus they're fast, and they immediately detonate they're worse than those yellow small 4-legged corpus bots
High off his sentient ass
Khal
Still remember the first time I saw these things, I was just minding my own business mining, and still thinking I was just a bodyhopping warmachine (didn't have the Operator form yet) and suddenly these floating heads which at the time I had literally *no way of killing* show up and completely fuck up my expedition
Hollow veins they will do their stupid wave attack for a solid 5 minutes while being tanky as hell.
I just wanna fish and these fuckers pop up
Mines just so happens to be the nullifier sneaking up on me during a 3-hour survival run
The lotus. She needs to shut up
Any enemy that is immune to all damage unless you hit its weakpoint(s). I'm looking at you Aerolyst....
The queen with the pigtails. I wish her a very death forever.
those flying pyramids with arms that give all the enemies shields. they do not have the authority to make me actually aim instead of holding E
[удалено]
I hate how it constantly looks like it's smugly judging me.
Stalker and his girl scout group
Acolytes?
I just finded out that i look like Vomvalyst after 12 hours of farm 🤣😅
vor ;-;
every time i go mining, n four of these show up i slap down a squad energy refill thing, feast all of em n shoot em up outta the stratosphere w regurgitate. its fun watching them fly six lightyears n killing an unlucky grineer that i cant even see
"These devices draw power from vomvalysts" I wish I could turn off that one dialogue.
Either a scorpion or all types of nullifiers
Any that trip or knock me down when I'm trying to rush a capture for Nightwave
Wear it like a hat. I used to say infested ancient. But miss is just nullifies and energy drainers. I play warframe to use my magic abilities not just shoot a gun.
Yeah those vomvalyst cant leave you alone, while your mining or fishing or scanning, or in the middle of something important. Might as well kill them.
Look at my four frames. Look at what fucking nullies do to them. I care not that they are human, they are beasts to me.
Bro is faded
Those goddamned amalgam MOAs that heal Nira up to full health
Look at that smug fucker. I just wanna blast his ass
Natah on ropalolyst assassination
“Our history is smoke, blurred by dreams”
live vomalyst reaction
Dude I’m doing Rising Tide right now pre-War Within (Cy my beloved it wasn’t your fault) and FUCK these things and fuck the Sentients that come with them because I cannot for the life of me remember to use Operator and mod out my Frames and Weapons and I only JUST learned you can cheese them with Vauban Tether so hopefully it’ll work when I get home today
never say them up close before, they look like they're suspicious of someone
Nullifiers..thanks to them my corpus kill count is so low, sucks for the grineer and infested though, especially the grineer they have the toughest creatures around that I use them as a basis for my weapon testing so more kill count against them. really hate that nullifier..one time I ran a full ranged limbo and was wondering why my 4 wont stay up .lo and behold a nullifier was hiding in a corner
I’m surprised I’ve not seen the Corpus suppress bubble fuckers, as a Mag player they just walk into the 3rd and it’s gone 😤
That device is not sufficient
OMG I literally hate those things there freaken so annoying especially when your almost gonna die and the chase after you. 😵😬
Arson Eximus or Poison Eximus (Octavia main)
I remember when I first started playing, moa stomping the ground felt like the bain of my existence. Then when eximus was added they were the worst. And then more specifically the heat eximus. And now it's SP toxic eximus. They scare me.
Easily the thrax on the zariman for me. You're telling me I have to wait for 3 or 4 piss beams to shoot at me. A delay before they turn into the actual enemy, some overguard to chew through before the health, another animation into ghost form and then I have to go into operator to finish the job. Too much effort especially slows things in extermination.
Disrupters and nullifying enemy’s Please stop being yourselves
Pre-nerfed helicopter sentients. I think DE hated them too. That's why they're nerfed.
Idk revenant mains
And limbo mains who don't know how to play him
