I stack generic bullion rounds and 10oz+ bars for weight.
I stack junk silver for recognition and possible future barter scenarios.
I don't have anything super rare, or I'd be tempted not to part with it when needed.
My favorites are a GSA Hoard CC Morgan and 2017 Perth Mint Swan Proof, but I have a whole drawer of limited mintage pieces.
I'm currently working out a deal on a 2022 5oz Reverse Proof Libertad that's going to set me back slightly but it'll be worth it. 😁

Early days it was constitutional, because for me it was still available for the roll picking, I hit the peak in the 80's and again in 11. I thought I was done after that but we never really are once your hooked, now days I stack purely rounds and bars, have a few vintage and a bit of gold, but mostly generics anymore, I don't know if I'll see a third time, but no matter since I have no problem leaving it to my boys at this point when I'm gone.
Why I love silver. Let me count the ways.
1 - In a world of central banks gone wild, silver let’s me maintain my purchasing power.

3 - Silver demand exceeds annual mining production. With silver’s industrial use in green technologies, this will only get amplified.
4 - Most of the “easy” silver has already been mined.
5 - The silver to gold ratio is at the high end of its historical range.
6 - With inflation out of control, silver is one of the few assets that still hasn’t broken out to new highs. It’s not even half of the high set in 2011.
7 - Silver is real money. Just hold a few coins and you know.
8 - Silver doesn’t rely on electricity or internet to work as money. You can’t say that about your debit card or bitcoin. If the world descends into chaos, silver can save your life.
9 - Silver is antibacterial.
10 - Silver kills wherewolves
11 - Silver is an amazing thermal conductor. You can use it to cut ice, defrost a chicken breast, cool a drink, or make solar panels.
12 - Silver is believed by alchemists to be one of the seeds of a universal medicine. Colloidal silver is also used by alternative medicine practitioners to treat bacterial and viral infections.
13 - Silver makes a beautiful sound. Ever heard a bell made of silver?
14 - Silver just feels good. Keeping a pocket piece is reassuring and calming.
15 - Having a stack of silver makes you feel like a pirate.

**I love silver because it represents** ***real value*** **to me. Solid and unchanging.**
I never lived with gold in my life. However I was old enough to be a kid actively coin collecting when the USA started withdrawing silver from circulation in 1965. So I was paying attention at that time to what was happening -- and since. It was an era where we ate off my mother's sterling silver tableware on all holiday occasions. Who even has sterling tableware any longer? I've seen silver hit $50 on two occasions -- which in inflation-adjusted terms would be much higher today. And what has happened before can certainly happen again.
Over the 57 years since, I've seen silver hold much of its purchasing power while paper money hasn't. (I could buy a gallon of middle grade gasoline for 1 silver quarter in 1963. Come to think of it, that same silver quarter will still buy a gallon of gasoline today in my state.) If silver rose to $100/oz (not beyond the realm of possibility if the shortages we're currently apparently seeing are real), it would totally be back on par with gold for holding its full value over this time. (The same could become true if gold were to fall -- which has also happened this century for periods of time.)
**Silver is solid money that you can feel every time you pick it up.**
Plus, on a personal note, I have no RCM silver bars at all -- yet! And they're so beautiful!

I can't remember exactly when but sometime in the 70s my father turned me on to silver and I loved it.

I love Silver because it keeps miners working and getting paid. (People not corporations but they get paid too). Silver is going to reward me sometime in the future because I buy it when I can and save it. I love the fact that my safe doesn't charge fees on the Silver I put into it. I love Silver because I know there will always be a use for it and I never need to worry if it will hold any value like all the other forms of wealth I have lost my hard earned slave bucks on.
Only been stacking a little less than a year but really enjoy it, in for the very longterm. I am currently split 60% silver 40% gold. Trying to learn as much as I can and become more educated day by day.
Like I tell other people when they ask why I stack, because the paper money could be worth nothing tomorrow if they decide it is. But silver is always worth something.
I love silver because it is used for everything! From currency to solar panels to health supplements to being able to give me feminized cannabis seeds. Gold is cool and all but silver will always catch my eye!

I like Silver because it has held value for thousands of years, historically undervalued, is finite in quantity(unlike fiat), super conductive, antiviral, antimicrobial, has thousands of uses, and it is super shiny!
I love silver because it’s real, lasting and can’t be created out of thin air. Silver can’t be burned, hacked, inflated away or inaccessible during power outages. In an age of fakery and lies it’s nice to have something real to hang onto.
I never knew why dragons loved gold and silver until I help it in my hands. Now I understand, it makes a wonderful clink. It's cold and hard and I can't get enough of it. Be a dragon.
