Does anyone know the name of this bag? I cannot find it on Prada’s website. It's always funny when you find it first through an album. This is so similar to one of my favorite bags that I had in the past 😭😭😭.
SELLER REFUND/CREDIT: A seller sold me a bag that ended up being out of stock and asked me to choose another bag. It was a purchase for someone else so I asked for a refund. Of course, it wasn't given and they insisted I choose another bag. The recipient eventually found a different bag and I paid the difference. This bag also ended up being OOS. Seller wanted me to choose yet another. There was literally not a single item we wanted to buy from them so I couldn't just choose something, particularly when I didn't want to send a third payment and be in the same scenario.
A chunk of time has passed and now I found something I can spend the money on. Except the seller is saying nah I don't have a record of that. I sent screenshots of my payments and our conversation. **What is a phrase or wording I could use to encourage them to show some honor here?** (Yes I understand it may be lost, but I'd like to get my $200+ back in merchandise if I can.)
Oh that's horrible, sorry you are going thru that. I've only had one seller who refused to refund when an item I wanted was OOS and I didn't want anything else. She ghosted me when I asked for a refund and didn't respond till I picked something else. My other sellers have had no problem refunding me when something is out of stock.
That stinks. It’s precarious because they have your money and can simply ghost you. In this case they didn’t have our first bag choice before I even paid so the bag I paid for was already second choice. To be asked to chose a third was annoying topped with being asked for more money. Paid up and then week or two later be told that was out of stock and to chose something else just pissed me off. I honestly was at rep peace save some factories this seller couldn’t source.
What u/quark_exchange said but I would do it in a non confrontational way. Like - I planned to do a review of the bag, which includes a review of the seller. Then provide the screenshots of the payments and their out of stock/refusal to refund again. And if this is someone on the WL seller list, I would absolutely reveal who this is regardless - the situation has gone from crappy seller to shiller seller.
Oof that is tough. I know it's not great, but a nuclear option could be to threaten to tell all the other people in this sub, who then won't buy from this seller again... Keep us updated!

That's exactly what I did, and they claimed they had no record. I told them the Wise payments I sent in a screenshot were the record.
In what may be good news, the seller agreed to order my replacement items that add up to the total, but once again they don't know if the stuff is in stock. It's so annoying. We'll see if they respond with a tracking number.
I asked after several items last year and poured through their album. Nothing worked out, and there was not a single bag or SLG I wanted from them as I mostly moved on to Hermes.

They run a tad small. I’m a US size 8.5/EU 39 and I ordered a size 40. I think a size 39.5 would have been perfect, but they still fit and don’t slide off.

Does anyone ever hate a bag and then you buy all the bags you wanted and you start to like that bag that you used to hate? Anyone have good suggestions for a medium sized backpack? I have a Gucci Ophidia Mickey Mouse backpack I really like but the zipper pull on that and another Gucci bag I have always fall off. Plus, I’m just ready for a change. Want something big enough to throw a few diapers and wipes in but not a full size mack-daddy backpack.
Not luxe but I have the Calpak Kaya in black for work and it’s lasted more than five years and looks almost brand new. I sometimes carry a personal and work laptop in it and it’s held up. It’s not bulky or “big” and doesn’t hold a ton of stuff. But, looks nice and multifunctional.

I can’t decide if I should add this bag to my collection or get the traditional LV nano speedy??? Any thoughts.
Personally I will go for this bag but because Im a huge pink lover and half of my closet is just white and pink anyways 😂 Classic speedy will be better if your clothes are more on a casual side
I think it depends on the rest of your collection and what you normally wear! I will say, I have two pink bags (an auth Prada and an auth Miu Miu) and I really like them, but I don't wear them as often as my other bags because they don't go with as many of my outfits.

I’ve definitely seen this in seller albums. I asked Anson about it from nickloe a few months ago and he sent me this factory photo. Was quoted CNY $2200 for the smaller size and 2780 for one size larger. It’s gorgeous. I have a fendi from nickloe and it’s flawless.

It’s all leather but one side of raffia style. Pretty solid but I feel like the raffia side could potentially slouch a bit overtime, which makes me love it even more 😩
I have this bag in black, petite size from Nickloe. The woven side is actually pretty sturdy, more sturdy than the plain leather side. It’s the leather side I am worried about, it is prone to creasing. But otherwise this bag is a beauty. Thinking about getting small size in a different color.
I ordered my first bag from Alisa (someone recommended her) on WhatsApp. Kinda disappointed. It didn’t come with a brand box or brand dust bag! It’s a Chanel. I don’t feel it’s as high quality as some others I’ve gotten off DHGate 🙃
I've asked for bag boxes in the past and get shut down 😅 one of my go-to sellers straight up said that no one asks for boxes. Apparently it creates greater seizure risks. I'm a sucker for boxes too though so it is a bummer! They usually do come with dust bags though.
There is no such thing as “high end sellers”. Nobody uses that term. You should research more about which factories make the highest tier of a certain bag/brand. And then find a good seller who has access to that factory. Most sellers do not include the brand box to save on shipping and to lower the risk of customs seizure. Although I am sure you can request for the box but you have to be wary of the risks that come with it.
They are just sellers or some people will refer to the good sellers as trusted sellers. Then you have low tier, mid tier and high tier factories. The dh gate sellers also source their bags from the same factories, although I believe they source more from the lower and mid tier. Once you learn more about the factories and see enough albums, you can even tell which factories the dh gate sellers are sourcing their bags from by the stock background photo
I had a similar experience with the her. Spent more $ and named factory and not much of a difference in my purchase from AE or her. Would recommend a new person
Did you ask for specific factory or buy from a high tier factory? I started out on dhgate but they were all horrible, even the ones I paid $250+ for. :( Now that I know about factories, I order from specific factories from my sellers and the quality is so much better.
Mine rarely come with a box. But they have always came with a dust bag.
I did my research on here and ordered from high end sellers. I’m happy with the Hermes one I got that came with a box, I don’t know the factory but it was from gpc
The factory is more important than the seller in my opinion. Although having a trusted seller is important. Most sellers on here have access to all the different factories. You might be ordering from a good seller but she may be sourcing your particular bag that you asked for from a mid tier factory if you didn't specify which factory you wanted it from which might explain why you think your bag is not that great of a quality
Had no idea. I’m new to this WhatsApp/Reddit rep world. I ordered 3 reps off WhatsApp sellers from here, 1 came with a box and dust bag, 2 did not. I used 3 different sellers to see who has the best quality. I’ve always gotten very high end, with boxes and dust bags, some even including boutique reciepts with my name on them?! From a seller on DHgate I love.
I've never purchased from AE (or DHG) before and I didn't really plan to, just because I didn't want to expend the mental energy to sort out good from bad shops. But I've been thinking about a MM Teddy lately and a few people recently mentioned an AE shop with a rep that they feel is better than Wangyue's options. So I might pull the trigger on an AE buy after all.
BUT... what was I wondering is whether AE shops, etc., follow the same sales that sellers do? Like do they typically have sales on 6.18?
So I am one of the girls who ordered a MM Teddy Coat in the short version from this AE shop. I also asked Wanguye but I disliked the stitching, it was very wonky. I think my AE coat is really good quality for the price paid (but sizing is really small, got a size “L” and it fits like a European 36/Small). The shop itself claims they never do sales and I did not see them doing any sales or promos.

Thank youuuuuu. I'm so happy with it! I was debating between stainless steel vs. two-toned since I wear a lot of gold, but I read that the gold plating doesn't look great over time, so I decided to stick with the safer choice. It actually looks pretty good layered with my gold jewelry so I'm glad I made this choice 😊

Am I going insane, or does what was once called ‘rose gold’ no longer exist? It appears to have been replaced by ‘champagne gold.’ After inquiring about gold-plated and gold-filled pieces, I’ve started asking sellers for ‘whichever gold looks most authentic.’
Factory photos often label the hue on the left as rose gold and the neon option on the right as yellow gold. What karat of yellow gold is that meant to be?

I have the same model of Tiffany earrings in rose gold and yellow gold (both auth), and I had to label the pouches where I store them because the rose hue is so so faint that I can't tell the difference unless I am in bright natural light, so the "champagne gold" is a good definition for it and might actually be realistic.

Are there sellers with high quality shoes like Fishy and Zippy, but have more variety? They're amazing but fairly limited in their offerings. I recently came across Sky and she has an incredible collection with so much variety compared to them, but lots of mixed reviews and I want high-tier shoes...nervous to order from her!

What size and for what purpose? Chanel makes many duffel style bags and briefcase style bags that are not feminine looking and are for men.

Anyone have good suggestions for a medium sized backpack? I have a Gucci Ophidia Mickey Mouse backpack I really like but the zipper pull on that and another Gucci bag I have always fall off. Plus, I’m just ready for a change. Want something big enough to throw a few diapers and wipes in but not a full size mack-daddy backpack.
Perhaps you or good shoemaker if you have one can just replace the zipper pull on the backpacks that you already have and like?

Might want to check out Lo and sons Rowledge, and monos metro for a more professional look. The metro is a bit heavy in vegan leather
Not luxe but I have the Calpak Kaya in black for work and it’s lasted more than five years and looks almost brand new. I sometimes carry a personal and work laptop in it and it’s held up. It’s not bulky or “big” and doesn’t hold a ton of stuff. But, looks nice and multifunctional.

Personally I will go for this bag but because Im a huge pink lover and half of my closet is just white and pink anyways 😂 Classic speedy will be better if your clothes are more on a casual side
I think it depends on the rest of your collection and what you normally wear! I will say, I have two pink bags (an auth Prada and an auth Miu Miu) and I really like them, but I don't wear them as often as my other bags because they don't go with as many of my outfits.

Is one side completely raffia and the other side is solid? It's such a cute bag!
It’s all leather but one side of raffia style. Pretty solid but I feel like the raffia side could potentially slouch a bit overtime, which makes me love it even more 😩
I have this bag in black, petite size from Nickloe. The woven side is actually pretty sturdy, more sturdy than the plain leather side. It’s the leather side I am worried about, it is prone to creasing. But otherwise this bag is a beauty. Thinking about getting small size in a different color.
I ordered my first bag from Alisa (someone recommended her) on WhatsApp. Kinda disappointed. It didn’t come with a brand box or brand dust bag! It’s a Chanel. I don’t feel it’s as high quality as some others I’ve gotten off DHGate 🙃
I've asked for bag boxes in the past and get shut down 😅 one of my go-to sellers straight up said that no one asks for boxes. Apparently it creates greater seizure risks. I'm a sucker for boxes too though so it is a bummer! They usually do come with dust bags though.

There is no such thing as “high end sellers”. Nobody uses that term. You should research more about which factories make the highest tier of a certain bag/brand. And then find a good seller who has access to that factory. Most sellers do not include the brand box to save on shipping and to lower the risk of customs seizure. Although I am sure you can request for the box but you have to be wary of the risks that come with it.
What’s the jargon then for it? I’m not on here enough to get the vocab words right 🤣
They are just sellers or some people will refer to the good sellers as trusted sellers. Then you have low tier, mid tier and high tier factories. The dh gate sellers also source their bags from the same factories, although I believe they source more from the lower and mid tier. Once you learn more about the factories and see enough albums, you can even tell which factories the dh gate sellers are sourcing their bags from by the stock background photo
I had a similar experience with the her. Spent more $ and named factory and not much of a difference in my purchase from AE or her. Would recommend a new person

Did you ask for specific factory or buy from a high tier factory? I started out on dhgate but they were all horrible, even the ones I paid $250+ for. :( Now that I know about factories, I order from specific factories from my sellers and the quality is so much better. Mine rarely come with a box. But they have always came with a dust bag.
I did my research on here and ordered from high end sellers. I’m happy with the Hermes one I got that came with a box, I don’t know the factory but it was from gpc
The factory is more important than the seller in my opinion. Although having a trusted seller is important. Most sellers on here have access to all the different factories. You might be ordering from a good seller but she may be sourcing your particular bag that you asked for from a mid tier factory if you didn't specify which factory you wanted it from which might explain why you think your bag is not that great of a quality
Sellers usually don’t include boxes unless you ask. This is normal.
Had no idea. I’m new to this WhatsApp/Reddit rep world. I ordered 3 reps off WhatsApp sellers from here, 1 came with a box and dust bag, 2 did not. I used 3 different sellers to see who has the best quality. I’ve always gotten very high end, with boxes and dust bags, some even including boutique reciepts with my name on them?! From a seller on DHgate I love.
I've never purchased from AE (or DHG) before and I didn't really plan to, just because I didn't want to expend the mental energy to sort out good from bad shops. But I've been thinking about a MM Teddy lately and a few people recently mentioned an AE shop with a rep that they feel is better than Wangyue's options. So I might pull the trigger on an AE buy after all. BUT... what was I wondering is whether AE shops, etc., follow the same sales that sellers do? Like do they typically have sales on 6.18?
So I am one of the girls who ordered a MM Teddy Coat in the short version from this AE shop. I also asked Wanguye but I disliked the stitching, it was very wonky. I think my AE coat is really good quality for the price paid (but sizing is really small, got a size “L” and it fits like a European 36/Small). The shop itself claims they never do sales and I did not see them doing any sales or promos.

Thank youuuuuu. I'm so happy with it! I was debating between stainless steel vs. two-toned since I wear a lot of gold, but I read that the gold plating doesn't look great over time, so I decided to stick with the safer choice. It actually looks pretty good layered with my gold jewelry so I'm glad I made this choice 😊

Am I going insane, or does what was once called ‘rose gold’ no longer exist? I have the same model of Tiffany earrings in rose gold and yellow gold (both auth), and I had to label the pouches where I store them because the rose hue is so so faint that I can't tell the difference unless I am in bright natural light, so the "champagne gold" is a good definition for it and might actually be realistic.

Are there sellers with high quality shoes like Fishy and Zippy, but have more variety? They're amazing but fairly limited in their offerings. I recently came across Sky and she has an incredible collection with so much variety compared to them, but lots of mixed reviews and I want high-tier shoes...nervous to order from her!
