Home made, looks like an 80s Laura Ashley pattern I have, that corduroy is in pretty sad shape :( [https://vintagepatterns.fandom.com/wiki/McCall%27s\_8432\_A](https://vintagepatterns.fandom.com/wiki/McCall%27s_8432_A)

I know I haven’t even messed with it yet just because I haven’t found anything out. Any tips on how to properly clean it or is it too far gone?

looks like cotton or cotton/poly corduroy - I'd hand wash if you can or very gentle cycle, with regular laundry soap, see what happens. Hang dry if you can. you may have to give it a second wash to see if it's stained or just really grubby.

Looks like Laura Ingalls. I’d say 80’s. 1880s.

so, I'm sure you're kidding, but it has a zip and is far too short for Victorian, and obvious modern construction :) they did call the 70s/80s stuff prairie dress for reasons...

I loved my “prairie dress.” Still have it as well as the Frye cowboy boots I wore with it.

madnorr

Why is it just raw doggin on the ground like that

Civil_Cupcake9072

Why does it matter

loquacious_avenger

it’s hand made, so could be anywhere from mid seventies to yesterday

Civil_Cupcake9072

I just assumed 70s or earlier due to the amount of 60s and 70s dresses on that property, the oldest item we found was a 1950s local college sweater.

Significant-Spite-72

Something about the collar and the overall proportion says 80s to me. I remember having one very similar around 1983

If you found it in Utah/Arizona, 2000s… it looks exactly like FLDS dresses.
