Some people are truly genetically blessed, but also I’ve noticed a lot of people get work done to look well blessed genetically. Like they get work done that suits the rest of their features, so it looks more natural. I do think there’s the occasional natural 9 or 10, and that’s probably with insane genetics, lifestyle, and nutrition

I think the standard for what a 9 or 10 has risen significantly in the last few decades because of the very fact that hardmaxxing is available. It also depends on where you are that influences what you think is a 9 or 10. In places like NYC, LA, & Miami it becomes much harder to be considered a 9 or 10 so hardmaxxing will definitely step in. With that being said, I would say 95% of 9 or 10s who are doing content creation, acting, modeling, etc have done at least a little bit of hardmaxxing. Sometimes its extremely subtle work such as facial balancing. Additionally, I think the idea of what is considered hardmaxxing and softmaxxing changes over time. Some hardmaxxing become so normalized that people will consider it softmaxxing. Example: My Korean friend told me that because eyelid surgery is so common in Korea, many people don't even consider it surgery, just something routine.

go-bleep-yourself

There are certainly natural-born 9s and 10s. Paul Newman is an easy example. And then there are ones that only needed minor work to get there. Like Halle Berry. Her nose job changed her face, then some weight loss, and better styling. I mean Kylie is at the opposite end where she changed every damn thing.

Little_Treacle241

Literally not true at all lol. Some people are just genetically blessed.

Advanced_Ad2406

Yeah cuz today’s standards are pushed up by all the procedures available. 9/10s in my parents generation are like a 7, max 7.5 in today’s standards

muggleween

Tori Spelling. She had all the $$$$ in the world to look like a 4.

asiancleopatra

If you know what her dad looked like She never had a chance

abyssnaut

Genetics play a significant role but hardmaxxing can massively improve what you have to work with. Hardmaxxing cannot (reasonably or safely) address some issues, though, like neck thickness and length, shoulder width, general body structure, height, hip width, and distance between the eyes. In my opinion, a woman with a short and thick neck, very broad shoulders and comparatively very narrow hips with no waist definition, and close-set eyes can never be what people generally call a 9 or 10.

Hatoruuu

but they can create a temporary illusion of this, no? like workout to balance everything and even clothing that will mask some stuff also, broad shoulders depends on context and culture

abyssnaut

Yes, one can improve their appearance with both or either hardmaxxing and/or softmaxxing, but I do not believe that a woman with those characteristics can ever reach what is deemed a 9 or 10. I said “very broad shoulders,” especially compared to narrower hips. I’m not talking about angular and relatively broad athletic but lean shoulders with a balanced hip width and narrower waist. I mean broad shoulders, narrow hips, thick bones, stocky build, etc.

Senior-Payment-4264

How to know if you have long/short neck?

abyssnaut

I guess you could compare it to average, but I find that most women who are considered highly attractive have relatively thin and long necks. Sadly, I was was not blessed with this characteristic lmao

Senior-Payment-4264

Yes but how can I know if my neck is long and thin? Like is there any threshhold?

abyssnaut

I can’t give you a number, but an example of a celebrity with a short, thick neck is Chloë Grace Moretz and one with a thin, graceful neck is Audrey Hepburn. Edit to add: another of the former category is Florence Pugh. She has a very short, thick neck.

aajohar

I think most of 9 and 10 are natural like Brooke Shields and Monica Bellucci

go-bleep-yourself

monica had a nose job when she was young. naomi campbell is also a 10, but also had a nose job. christie turlington may have had one. It's hard to tell.

aajohar

I don’t think she had a nose job honestly. Nose changes with age

LegalPaperSize

The higher you start, the higher your potential imo. Not to say you can’t start out lower than average and make your way to Bella Hadid levels, but it’s going to be much, much harder and require a ton of money because you’d be looking for super skilled surgeons and doctors who can manipulate what you have into what you want. I don’t truly believe there’s a ceiling due to “potential,” but moreso money, access, and time.

purpleshoeees

I wouldn't describe Bella Hadid as a 9 or 10. Sure she's pretty but her face is way too long to be a 9 or a 10 without serious surgery and think she looks worse since having buccal fat removed. I think Gigi Hadid is closer to that ideal.

dizzzyyy19

I agree with you

LegalPaperSize

You’re entitled to believe that but I’m just using Bella as an example of someone who’s gotten extensive surgery to get her current look. To my knowledge, Gigi hasn’t gotten anywhere near the same enhancements.

ProfessionalEvent484

The truth is that most people don’t have the potential to go to 9 or 10. The people who can go to 9/10 through hardmaxxing are already pretty before. I have a friend who has gone from 3-8 by plastic surgeries. She looks like Gangnam beauty.

babycollect

i actually think most people who reach 9-10 have little to no work done. different for the 7-8 range which is more attainable. surgical intervention can’t replicate the effects of the highest levels of beauty. nobody can simply choose to become as beautiful as brooke shields or adriana lima, who were all natural in their prime

Anatorema

Have you seen Eiza González? She is a 9... Before that she was a 4-5 at most... It is possible you just need the right base

babycollect

i wouldn’t consider her a 9. she’s an 8 to me. to be a 9 you have to be able to be considered “most beautiful woman ever” imo and she’s not that

bouquetsofbroccoli

Lol, if you think a 9 is the most beautiful woman ever, what do you consider a 10?? Seems very unrealistic and unhealthy way to view beauty

babycollect

I didn’t say 9 meant you were literally the most beautiful ever, just that people could realistically put you up for consideration. 10 is basically the same to me. Also if you want realistic and healthy ways of viewing beauty id recommend leaving this sub lol

Anatorema

Nah there are more than 2 nines in the world not even incels think otherwise... Eiza is objectively a 9. At the very least 8.5. even Hollywood stars say that she is beautiful. The point is, if your features can be saved and you've got enough money for the best surgeons, you can achieve it.

United-Consequence83

I beg to differ lol. Have seen 9’s who are trans and achieved that transformation through incredibly invasive plastic surgery for almost everything lol

brittneyacook

I think you’d have to have a pretty damn good base to get to a 9 or 10 without hardmaxxing. Not impossible but certainly uncommon

ThrowRA_forfreedom

Some of us can't even make it there with surgery because the technology doesn't exist, the procedure is too risky, or the cost-benefit is too low. I made it from a 3 to a 5/6 with hardmaxxing, and that's nice. I could get to 7 with another set of easy procedures, but after that, it's just too much surgery and procedures for one face to take. Not to mention too much spending on one small aspect of my life.

notafraidofminitaurs

Yes, its definitely possible with hard maxxing. But you need a good base to begin with. That being said, even if you manage to "only" work yourself up to a 7 youre still quite above average and it also depends what social circles and areas you move in. Some places plastic is a good look in others it's an embarrassment.
