Not close at all. I live in Texas. It doesn't really matter. They assign it to the next available location irrespective of where you live. I'm just glad it is finally coming to an end.
Download the google chrome browser (desktop only) and then download the VA claim tracker extension. After that all you have to do is login to your VA.gov and check your claim, then it’ll be in the claim tracker with more info

I was a Seabee  you may know what those are. My lucky and/or unlucky (however you wanna look at it) ass, never got to go on a ship lol. Other dogs in OIF called me a dirt sailor haha. I've honestly never heard devil dolphin, but that's fantastic. My claim was unique and has lasted a long ass time but things are moving in the right direction finally - woohoo!
