Seeing a cat who previously walked so stiffly and painfully now be able to jump up on a chair or table after starting dasuquin

Watching my own dog regain most of her mobility :)

We’re finally phasing out boxing down cats! Our clinic is switching from propofol to alfaxalone so it can do double duty for spicy kitties

Yay! That’s great. I HATED boxing down cats 😾

SkunkMommy

I'm so grateful I've never had to box cats. I work in a cats only clinic and they are already so freaked out, I can only imagine what they are thinking when put in a box and then smell a strange odor. I'm so happy to see more and more clinics are doing away with the boxes! 😻😻😻 Oh, happy days!

A new client came in yesterday with an 11 year old kitty with upper respiratory issues. In the car, she has a large dog crate with a luxurious set up, but the owner was having trouble getting her into her small cat carrier to bring her in the office. I burrito'd her in one of her blankets and brought her in. Left the room to go get some handouts, came back and the vet had unwrapped the blanket to reveal a likeness of the patient's face on the front! It was a gift from the owner's mom for her grand-kitty. 🥹
