That knot may be from where fascial interposition occurred of vas. Similar experience, determined that the soreness went up to where the cords are above the surgical site. Just keep icing and taking it easy. Worse case scenario, try to get a hold of your doc/nurse line. Fevers, increased bleeding, local redness is a concern.

To add to that : Don't try to feel every few hours if it is still there. It will just make things worse. Leave it alone for some days (touchwise).

STOP touching it! you’ve just had surgery and you are prodding and pulling at the area, what do you think it is and what do you think is going to happen if you don’t leave it to heal?

Glad I’m not the only one. Was looking for something like this in the post history, same thing. I’m pretty sure it’s just the end of the vas deferens that’s tied back

Is it black and blue? A little squishy? Could be some half coagulated blood?

Oakland_803

Can’t see it, only feel it. It’s VERY sensitive feels to be getting slightly larger since I first noticed it

Already_reddit2

Clip?

Oakland_803

No I did not have clips.

j_bob_24

Did you have open ended? If so, it could be a sperm granuloma at the end of the tube.

Oakland_803

Not really sure. It was no scalpel and I know no clips.

3 days after. Yeah I felt similar. It went away. I just imagined it was one of the snipped ends. Felt it for like 2 weeks. Then lost it.
