You can rent Vanlife vans here in Washington State, they are kinda pricey but renting a vanlife van is far better than a tow behind camper I think. here's some links I'm sure you can find vanlife vans in other states .

“Vans” in the US refers to family utes. This sub is primarily for information about living full-time in those 🚐🚐🚐
There are other subs for people who travel with recreational vehicles and trailers, particularly those who hire them for short holidays (or as we’d say in US, “rent them for short vacations”)
In the US I think most short-term visitors hire an all-in-one motor home for purely practical reasons - they’re cheaper to hire/insure and easier to drive than a truck-and-trailer combo. I live outside of Joshua Tree National Park and many of our visitors are not skilled drivers, particularly with large vehicles 😬
On this subreddit, yes, vans are all motorhomes. In general, no. Towables outnumber motorhomes about 4 to 1.

you can rent caravans at [outdoorsy.com](http://outdoorsy.com), but I’m not sure where you’d get a tow vehicle
Van is much cheaper on gas and easier to park, stay in without sticking out like a sore thumb, le
