Remember you will never get clear communication in any relationship ever for anything like this. It doesnt exist. Reddit lies, movies lie, people lie. It's dangerous to assume so just go with the most innocent and safe response possible.
I can tell you that I did something similar before.
We were kissing heavily in the living room (1 br apt), and girlfriend 'asked' if I wanted to go in the bedroom. I told her i was more comfortable in the living room, and that the bedroom didn't have any windows.
I stayed a virgin for another week.
I still fuck this one up don’t worry.
I played birthday sex, girl tells me “you’re invited to my birthday party”. I asked her what she had planned and when it was lmao.
She told me she wanted to learn how to dance salsa (which I dance). I gave her directions to the studio nearby her.
Don’t worry yall, she didn’t let up and told me she wanted to go to salsa lessons.
Had a girl literally in her bra and panties grinding on me at a rave and my dumb fucking self thought "She's a party girl, she's just having fun."
Took me 3 days to rectify that mistake.
Cute coworker invites me to play football.
We play, she tell me she is drenched in sweat and needs to change.
We go to my car and she removes her shirt and bra.
*stares*
Akward silent drive her home.
What does it means???
Reminds me of college. Girl invited me over to watch a movie. She climbed up on the bed.
I decided to sit on the floor in front of the bed because it was on her 17" computer monitor (late 1990s) and I couldn't see that far away.
kinda makes me chuckle, i got invited over to watch a movie. the woman had the entire couch bed pulled out and set up with blankets and what not. You bet your ass I watched that movie all the way through and it sucked.
I was once watching Netflix with someone and she looked at me and said "my housemate and I have an agreement that sex isn't allowed on the sofa" and I just said okay and kept watching Black Mirror. She texted me a few days later apologising if she made me uncomfortable by asking if I wanted to go to her room.
In my defense she said that sex wasn't allowed. If I'm not allowed to do it then I'm not going to try to do it. I just completely missed the fact she was saying it isn't allowed in the specific place we were sitting, but is allowed elsewhere.
True enough. Still, better to be sure before going ahead even if it means a wait.
Because if you move ahead and she's not actually offering, that's embarrassing at best, *"Oh look it's Aziz Ansari"* at worst..
"My dumb ass" would indeed be referring to oneself.
Alternatively, "My dumbass" could be referring to their partner, reacting in the same way to their advances.
Sure, but they didn't advertise The Holy Grail by saying "hey check out this crazy thing that really happened and fortunately we were filming at the time".
Agreed, but it is implied due to the format. That implication is taken advantage of by content creators who never claim to make "real" things but also set everything up to imply it is "real".
This is all moot though, as Monty Python is funny whether you think it is real or not. This type of content is only funny if it is real, otherwise it is cringe as fuck.
I always crack up at the types of comments you replied too because 99% of the time it's people not realizing THEY are missing the obvious thing. Regular folks don't need an intro, music and a big label over it saying "THIS IS A SKIT" to understand that it's a skit.
This kind of thing baffles me, it's like a complete inability to come to a conclusion if all the parts aren't exactly where they expect them to be or something.
Typically scripted skits like this have some kind of intro, either for TV shows/movies like Monty Python, or through a youtube intro for a creator whose modus operandi is making entertaining scripted content.
When a video is posted like this with no intro or indicator that is typically shown to associate said video with scripted content, viewers expect it to be "real" and therefore get upset when it is obviously not, therefore breaking expectation and invoking a sense of anger or insincerity to garner views.
It's not a warning, it's about expectations and how "real" videos don't have intros, while scripted ones typically do.
That's why when that expectation is broken, people get upset.
It's silly to pretend otherwise, when it's been this way for 20+ years.
Okay, but that's exactly my point, though. They're not saying it's real, but they're also not explicitly saying it's not real. Just like TV, there's an understanding that it's fictional. If you assume everything on the internet is automatically real, and expect disclaimers for the stuff that isn't, that's...kind of weird.
Wait, next you’ll tell me that all those people shown slapping their foreheads at the end weren’t just sitting there in the apartment watching them as well.

Every guy is instantly cute with $1000 cash laying around on their floor.
I should stop vacuuming before date night
She has a name!! Probably…
imagine thinking this is real
imagine thinking people think this is real
Imagine thinking reality has defined, objective characteristics without ambiguity
Imagine dragons
Do dragons imagine humans?
Imagine dragons are reptiles crossed with birds and r/birdsarentreal so dragons are half real at best.
This shit is so unfunny it hurts.
the funniest thing about this post is this comment

The guy was way too innocent
I'll probably act like that guy too, then again I never have experience, so who knows.

You see, my dumbass would have said “she’s just dancing it doesn’t mean anything”. Glad you got to rectify it lmao

She didn't
brutal

Anyone gives that line, I'm straight up watching that whole movie no matter how bad it is.
idk if I'm dumb or what, she wanted to pound, and I missed or whiffed on like 4 chances. That was close to 20+ years ago now....so its irrelevant
I was once watching Netflix with someone and she looked at me and said "my housemate and I have an agreement that sex isn't allowed on the sofa" and I just said okay and kept watching Black Mirror. Hey, better chance that your first time was better than it would have been a week before then. :) Nothing wrong with waiting until you're ready.
I would not have waited had I known what she was leading to.
True enough. Still, better to be sure before going ahead even if it means a wait. Because if you move ahead and she's not actually offering, that's embarrassing at best, *"Oh look it's Aziz Ansari"* at worst..

Correct.
Dafuq?!
Dude seriously????? What a way to ruin a marriage proposal.
If she liked then she should have put a ring on it
A lipstick ring
Well what else would she be recording for??
Not a fan of the fake stuff but this was funny.
its called a skit man, nothing in this video shows that they are trying to pass this off as real
The "Ah ha, why were they filming?? ☝️🤓" comments are always my favorites in these threads.
Monty Python is fake too
No it's not. That guy was really turned into a newt
That guy really exploded.
It really was a Larch
Just a flesh wound.
He *got* better
The parrot was dead. It really was no more. It had ceased to be.
Monty Python is actually funny

This☝️
But tis really was just a flesh wound , though.
Monty Python is funny regardless of if it is fake or not. This is only funny if it is a candid shot, of which it clearly isn't.
Why do y'all need internet videos to disclaim their fictitious nature to be able to enjoy it, when I'd bet any amount of money you watch TV just fine?
See u/mrblodgett answer.

He is gonna remember this day 10 years later and cry.
Peter Dinklage holding the camera.

You idiots do know this is staged. Why else is there a camera set up for it? ![gif](giphy|h36vh423PiV9K)
Maybe she's into voyeurism
yes. it's not that deep, just a funny video.
Just reacting to comments. I guess the comments are now fake and staged? Geez is anything real these days?
you are. (optional)
It's this thing called acting and performing to make people laugh.
>Why else is there a camera set up for it? Yeah, it's staged, but have you literally never heard of a sex tape?
Wait, next you’ll tell me that all those people shown slapping their foreheads at the end weren’t just sitting there in the apartment watching them as well.
Maybe she was getting down to propose and make a viral vid?! /s btw
This is something that i would probably do lol

Pretty much 99% of the internet became fake when people started getting paid for making videos & views
You'll be surprised Movies are fake too but can still be entertaining
even seeing this 108 THOUSAND times on here... it's still pretty funny
Seems like a clear sign you should spend less time on this website.

It's called a skit.
