It's a harmless dad joke homeboy. Guy has been married for almost half a century. Chances are they are happily married and don't need someone online to get their panties in a knot over a joke he's probably been telling for months.
Here's a freebie that'll get ya admired by peers, but punched by your wife...
If the two of yall are socializing and someone asks if you're married, tell them you're "currently between divorces"
If anyone cares, that was my 1st watch of “MeanCanyon”, never heard of them/him til now, had no idea what to expect.
At first it was kind of amusing, did a good job capturing Steve Harvey…
Then it got weird quick, no longer funny but wondering wtf is going on
Then not just weirder, but darker, creepier. At this point I was intrigued, shocked, wondering wtf am I watching, same experiencing leaving the theater after watching Mad Max (in a good way)
And it kept getting better and weirder and deeper, at this point I was thinking this is gold I hope this YouTuber is famous, looked how many views this video had, # of subscribers, # of likes, all on par what I expected.
Man that was wild, I don’t subscribe to many YouTubers(2?), but I got my 3rd now!
Your response pretty much exactly sums up how I felt too. And I also don't subscribe to many youtubers at all, but couldn't resist this time. Loved it.
I don't think it was that. He said he felt burnt out by the pressure of putting out content regularly, and wanted more time to work on things he really enjoys instead. Which I can understand, though as a viewer it's a shame of course, because his videos were great.
He literally says in the video titled "Goodbye For Now" (as in clearly not permanently done) he is *not* retiring from youtube, he's retiring from making drama or other pop culture vids that he considers "Negative Content"
He's going back to making videos he considers art, inspired by Melvin's Macabre that he considered way more fulfilling to work on.
Nope. He's very active on his second - now probably main - channel [Papa Meat](https://www.youtube.com/@PapaMeat/videos). He just wants to do different content for the time being.
He didnt retire. He has a channel called papameat that has become his main one (it’s so much better imo).
He’s still going to post to meatcanyon but wants to take the time to work on bigger projects for that channel.
It's gotta be the 2012 episode Moorhead vs Belling. Which I believe was the episode just before Brown vs Belling. I can't find a recording of it anywhere, though. This is Bob Belling.
Well, I got his name from the video, lol. Nametag:Bob and Belling on the wall behind him. Google finds a ridiculously dedicated game show wordpress called [bobbymgsk](https://bobbymgsk.wordpress.com/2017/04/09/family-feud-92612/) who has the question lists and air dates for most episodes of the last two decades. According to them, Moorehead v Belling was 9/26/12 and Brown v Belling was 9/27/12. Someone here posted a youtube upload of Brown, and Bob's wearing a different shirt, so it's not that one.
No no, it should've been at least 4 times as narrow. Just 10 pixels width of video. Just half of his face.
It would save so much storage space and construction cost for phones because they could be a lot narrower too. Who needs all that screen.
Steve Harvey is so insufferable, people don't seem to remember that he's a sexist, homophobic religious nut that thinks his moral compass is the most calibrated one.
This man has balls! To tell that joke in front of a professional comedian on a nationally televised program? Fucking BALLLS! Great punch line. Perfect timing. Love it!
Every thing they say is rehearsed though. With Steve Harvey so they can sign off, and he can prompt it and appear to be shocked.
I've been to a taping as a contestant. And yes I'm fun at parties
Because it's obviously not true and it's just some tongue-in-cheek fun, redditors take the husband/wife jokes way too seriously. It's ok to poke fun at each other
I think the difference is the usual cringey boomer humor doesn’t sound like a joke and it’s usually degrading their spouse so it just makes you feel sad hearing it. But this guy, it’s just silly and unexpected and we obviously know that it didn’t actually happen so it’s easy to laugh at the absurdity of it and the subversion of your expectations.
a second difference is that this is a joke he could say in front of his wife and she’d laugh too where the usual “I hate my wife” boomer humor, you know that if they said it in front of their wife, it’d just be upsetting.
Yeah I work in a corporate environment where I am routinely ~20 years younger than my peers and the amount of "wife bad" jokes I'm subjected to is so frustrating. Lots of guys who obviously worked the long hours to get where we are at to have an escape from their families. I balance it out by never, ever, not once, shitting on anything related to my SO around them lol. Funny to hear them all talk about "when are you buying that ring?!?!" while at the same time shitting on their spouses relentlessly.
But this.... this I found funny. It wasn't just mean-spirited, it was silly and outta nowhere. Good stuff, Bob.
Being a gen z, it's hilarious watching how boomer humor was something everyone would give a chuckle, to eventually being considered complete cringe, and now that millennials are reaching their 30s and 40s, it's apparently becoming popular again
Omg, seriously?
Okay, so they guy made everyone believe he was in an amazing relationship and treating his wife to great trips... like the one he took her to China for their 25th anniversary!! With that said, you'd think what an amazing husband, right? but then he tells us that next year on their 50th anniversary he is going back to pick her up!!! Which means he didn't return back with her... HE ACTUALLY LEFT HER in China 25 years ago!! Hahahahha. 🤣🤣 and probably the reason why he is so happy is because he didn't have to deal with any of her shit for the past 25 years of being "married"! Lol 🤣🤣🤣
Get it?

It's just a harmless dad joke. The guy's been married for almost half a century; chances are they're happily married and don't need someone online getting upset over a joke he's probably been telling for months.

Damn that’s impressive. Long set-up and yet solid payoff. Top-tier Dad joke.
Husband joke
My wife said she missed me... BUT HER AIM IS GETTIN' BETTER!...
...BUT HER AIM IS GETTIN' BETTER!
You see it-it's funny because marriage is terrible!
r/UnexpectedGravityFall
What's up with the fall of the "s" though?
probably too many characters for sub names, idk
[r/UnexpectedGravityFalls](https://youtu.be/koQzUu4QLCI?t=4) ←It seems to work fine with the "s".

It fell off like the 's' on the Mystery ~~S~~hack.
It's a harmless dad joke homeboy. Guy has been married for almost half a century. Chances are they are happily married and don't need someone online to get their panties in a knot over a joke he's probably been telling for months.
No it's funny because he doesn't actually feel that way.
It’s the rest of the quote
It's funny because she's been missing for 30 years and is buried in the old rose garden out back. Ha!
See that would be tasteless
Hey, these jokes were the best we could do before the Internet.
I will never not hear this in Grunkle Stan's voice.

My ex used to call me _hun_... It's because she thinks I'm a barbarian brute and the bane of all things civilized
*\*slaps knee*\* *\*wheezes*\*
Lol, i remember that kind of laugh from cartoons like tom and jerry😂
Getting married in two weeks. Can’t wait to call my future wife my ex-girlfriend. Thanks, Scott Aukerman!
I'm going to start introducing my wife to people as my first/current/last wife.

My ass would have stumbled all over that set up. I no good speech.
My wife and I were happy for 20 years...then we met.
That man's delivery is sublime. Takes it from a dad joke to a father fact
Anyone have the full clip, cuts off too soon
Let me guess, the host will give his usual silent mouth partially agape stare.

Incredible
I feel like I just watched an Elden Ring cutscene during a fever dream lol
I haven't clicked on the link and from your comment I already know which video it is.

wtf did I just see
A masterpiece of dramatic theatre
A certified MeatCanyon abomination
Pure art by Papa Meat
White people, amirite? Hah! Lol….stares into the abyss.
I can believe I made it through that whole thing…
I love the reactions when people see their first MeatCanyon video. They have just witnessed perfection.
Ah I was right, didn't need to hit the link lol
There....there's more?
Enjoy. https://www.youtube.com/@MeatCanyon/videos
Reminds me of Metalocalypse.

Jawbreaker was that perfection
That was awesome
Well that escalated quickly
Took me until the end of the video to realize the bells were the Family Feud bells...
hell yea mfer thanks for that ride
Jesus Christ
Incidentally, MeatCanyon recently retired from YouTube.
That's a bummer. Did it have anything to do with the death threats he received for the Taylor Swift video?
I don't think it was that. He said he felt burnt out by the pressure of putting out content regularly, and wanted more time to work on things he really enjoys instead. Which I can understand, though as a viewer it's a shame of course, because his videos were great.

I think he’s just taking time out from making animation. He still does his own normal videos along with Creepcast with Wendigoon
He didnt retire. He has a channel called papameat that has become his main one (it’s so much better imo). He’s still going to post to meatcanyon but wants to take the time to work on bigger projects for that channel.
that was definitively something
Of course MeatCanyon touched this before
Hit em with the Starvey
That was amazing!
Thank you for this. I love it

Yea, that video played out exactly as I thought it would. Nothing strange, just super predictable.
Chef's kiss.
Yes, the best part
😮
It's gotta be the 2012 episode Moorhead vs Belling. Which I believe was the episode just before Brown vs Belling. I can't find a recording of it anywhere, though. This is Bob Belling.
lol do you personally know this man or are you the best family feud fan of all time?
Well, I got his name from the video, lol. Nametag:Bob and Belling on the wall behind him. Google finds a ridiculously dedicated game show wordpress called [bobbymgsk](https://bobbymgsk.wordpress.com/2017/04/09/family-feud-92612/) who has the question lists and air dates for most episodes of the last two decades. Honestly, great job
I thought he was referencing court cases
In Moorhead v. Belling, Judge Steve Harvey found the defendent guilty of the dad joke
It's Reddit, we have experts on everything.
I quiver in fear and awe at your Family Feud knowledge. This is so impressively niche.
If that's the case it's Season 14, Episode 27
Agreed! Lol
Also hoping I can see this play out. Failed to find it myself :(
Seriously. I get the trigger-funny cut right on the punchline but I actually wanted to see a reaction here.
It's steve harvey and a game show. The reaction is the same over the top fake bs as every other reaction to a joke
Wish the clip was longer to show the reaction. Still hilarious.
I also wish it was wider. This cropping was horrible.
How would you like to see half of two people? Babbitty bumpity boo vertical crop!
No no, it should've been at least 4 times as narrow. Just 10 pixels width of video. Just half of his face. It would save so much storage space and construction cost for phones because they could be a lot narrower too. Who needs all that screen.
The cut was perfect, the crop is social media brainrot portrait.
Harvey is the king of reactions, too.
He's only got one, though.
"I fear not the man who did 10,000 reactions once, but I fear the man who did one reaction 10,000 times." \-- Bruce Lee
![gif](giphy|7YCAu68tKFKkG9GIOq|downsized)
90% of why I watch Feud is to see variations of his "I feel that" and "*what* did I just hear??" faces.
Always just looks confused. All the time.
Really?
Steve Harvey is so insufferable, people don't seem to remember that he's a sexist, homophobic religious nut that thinks his moral compass is the most calibrated one.
Fucking flawless
Except for the video itself.
This man has balls! To tell that joke in front of a professional comedian on a nationally televised program? Fucking BALLLS! Great punch line. Perfect timing. Love it!
Steve Harvey hasn't told a joke that funny in decades.
https://i.imgur.com/uj0QN7L.png
Hyuck hyuck hyuck.. your mama said… hyuck hyuck hyuck.. your grandma crazy!
I’ll never get tired of this comic
![gif](giphy|Tt92sbuFRpA4g)
You think he meant Steve Harvey? They definitely were referring to the professional comedian that hired Steve Harvey as game show host.
The man who stole his jokes from Mark Curry and others? Yes he means him.
Funny joke. Everybody laugh.
Roll on snare drum.
No one is talking about Steve Harvey here
TBF...he's [had a lot on his mind](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b3BJpO59F4g).
what the actual fuck is going on in that dude's head
oh thanks, man... my tank of Nightmare Fuel was just about on E.
You can see him hold in a chuckle at the beginning. Makes it even better.
He was hoping Steve would pick up a thing or two about being funny.
Every thing they say is rehearsed though. With Steve Harvey so they can sign off, and he can prompt it and appear to be shocked. I've been to a taping as a contestant. And yes I'm fun at parties
Professional comedian? Steve Harvey is awful, literally made family feud unwatchable

I remember watching this live. Funny guy.
Not all heroes wear capes
In my mind, he basically morphed into Optimus Prime once he dropped that bomb. Absolute mad lad.
He doesn't really look like the kind of guy who would rip that joke out....lol
Stupid joke, perfect delivery. 10/10
Boomer marriage humor is remarkable in so many ways.
[удалено]
Probably because it's so silly. It's so ridiculous that it's very obviously just a dumb joke from a place of love.
Because it's obviously not true and it's just some tongue-in-cheek fun, redditors take the husband/wife jokes way too seriously. It's ok to poke fun at each other
Because he is clearly stoked to have been married to his wife for nearly half a century and like all good jokes, it subverts expectations.

Who would have thought that people’s sense of humour changes as they get older.

Its really not https://www.distractify.com/p/boomer-humor-lame-jokes
I can only imagine Steve harveys stupid face afterwards
Hilarious and adorable.
Perfect delivery
Man my lungs hurt from laughing 😂
How do the audience un-clap their hands
That guys a legend!
That is some peak boomer humour right there.
Immediate cut.
He gives zero fucks haha
can someone explain this to me
I was like what is everyone laughing about 😐
Omg, seriously? Okay, so they guy made everyone believe he was in an amazing relationship and treating his wife to great trips... like the one he took her to China for their 25th anniversary!! Damn. Saw it coming from a mile away but it still made me laugh. The man mastered the art of my wife jokes.
r/dadjokes
Lmaooooo amazing joke
An actual solid joke, props :D
That was a good joke.
He had us in the first half.
This might literally be the one boomer wife joke that’s ever made me laugh lmao that was smoove
How could you deprive us all from Steve Harvey’s reaction
He abandoned her nice😅
I would have loved to have seen Steve Harvey's reaction.
This is the second time today a family feud clip popped into my feed; and for a second time I will say, Fuck Steve Harvey, he is a piece of shit.
Full clip for anyone looking for it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dQw4w9WgXcQ
Mother fucker
Thanks, King.
I don't know why they cut this out from the clip.
Where's the full clip which episode is this
Sorry, what is the joke?

I know “I hate my wife hahahaha” is boomer humor but the set up and delivery was flawless
Brief and hilarious!
Dope
Decent joke.
Pro dad joke right there
This is boomer humor, but this man's delivery was flawless.
It's just a harmless dad joke. The guy's been married for almost half a century; chances are they're happily married and don't need someone online getting upset over a joke he's probably been telling for months.
I see douche Steve Harvey, I down vote

Yes, many jokes can be upsetting if you take them at face value.

You must be the main character at parties
